Abstract

The stay mechanism for combined rotating and tilting windows or doors is arranged on the upper groove of the frame for limiting tilting movement. The upper pivoted member is used as a stay for the rotating situation of the window. The vertical mid plane of the stay mechanism can be aligned by simple adjustment with the vertical mid plane of the central closing mechanism in the moving frame groove. The stay mechanism has a side adjustment range without adversely affecting the operation of the stay mechanism. The angle plate (11) has two eccenters (15) for changing the position of the vertical mid plane (14) of the stay arm (2) relative to the front face of the fixed frame and for correcting any alignment errors of the moving frame in the fixed frame.
