Abstract

The stay mechanism is used for optionally tilted or rotated frame of a window or door. The stay mechanism can be adjusted when the window frame is closed but not locked and it ensures correct functioning. The stay rod has pivoting point for connecting the additional stay rod and the pivoting bearing (52, 53). The arrangement has on this pivot side a hinge member (44) and on the panel side a member (42). These members are adjusted relative to each othr by the adjusting arrangement (56, 58) for changing the system between the pivoting bearing (54) and the pivoting point. The adjusting member (56) is accessible when the window frame is closed.
