1416362 Window stays TITON HARDWARE Ltd 18 Jan 1974 [19 Jan 1973] 2996/73 Heading E2F A window stay comprises a hinged sash fitting 3 pivotally connected to one end of a link 1, a link 2 pivotally connected at one end to the other end of -the link 1, and a frame fitting 4 pivotally connected to the other end of the link 2, the latter pivotal connection having a spring 16 to allow limited tilting movement of the link 2 out of the horizontal plane. The links 1 and 2 are pivotally connected by means of a screw 12 attached to the link 2 and a nut 18 attached to the link 1, the screw and nut providing an adjustable friction grip and allowing the links to be disconnected.
