Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA TRANSFORMACION DE YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA. CONSISTE EN INTRODUCIR EN YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA UN ACIDO DESOXIRRIBONUCLEICO QUE COMPRENDE UNA REGION DE HOMOLOGIA A DICHA YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA Y UN MARCADOR GENETICO DETECTABLE. SIENDO YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA UNA ESPECIE DE LEVADURA USADA EN LA PRODUCCION DE ACIDO CITRICO, ERITRITOL, MANITOL Y ACIDO ISOPORPILMALICO, CUYAS CARACTERISTICAS DE IDENTIFICACION SON ATCC 20688; Y EL CITADO ACIDO DESOXIRRIBONUCLEICO, ES UN VECTOR, UN PLASMIDO DE ESCHERICHIA COLI AUTONOMAMENTE REPLICANTE QUE CONTIENE UN FRAGMENTO DE DNA DE YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA, QUE TIENE UN GEN QUE FUNCIONA FISIOLOGICAMENTE EN LA LEVADURA. SE USA EN EL CLONAJE DE GENES PROCEDENTES DE UNA GENOTECA DE ATCC 20688 POR COMPLEMENTACION CON UN VECTOR INTEGRANTE.
