Abstract

Un método de producir electrodos metálicos que tienen electrocatalizadores, que comprenden una aleación cúbica centrada en las caras, de níquel y molibdeno o wolframio, conteniendo dicha aleación entre 5 y 30% atómico demolibdeno o wolframio depositados sobre dichos electrocatalizadores, comprendiendo dicho procedimiento tratar un substrato de electrodo metálico, de tal manera que la superficie del substrato se recubra con una solución homogénea de un compuesto de níquel y de un compuesto de molibdeno o wolframio, siendo ambos capaces de descomposición térmica para dar los óxidos correspondientes, conteniendo dicha solución entre 10 y 50% atómico de molibdeno o wolframio, descomponer térmicamente los compuestos metálicos sobre la substrato para dar los óxidos u óxidos mixtos correspondientes, y curar el substrato recubierto con óxido, en una atmósfera reductora y a una temperatura elevada.
