Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en motores de combustión interna de ciclo diesel, provistos de una cámara de prescombustión, en donde las válvulas de inducción y escape se disponen en la tapa de cilindros del motor y tienen ejes dispuestos en un plano común, caracterizados porque el cilindro (2) p cada cilindro del motor tiene o tienen una cámara de combustión (4) con una parte principal de sección transversal sustancialmente triangular definida por una cavidad (4) en la tapa de cilindros (5), cuya cavidad (4) presenta una superficie superior (10) y una superficie lateral (13), estando dicha superficie superior (10) sustancialmente ortogonal a los ejes (11) de las válvulas y formados en ésta los asientos de las válvulas y por una proyección (19) de sección triangular que emerge de la corona del pistón (1) del cilindro (2), cuya proyección (19) está definida por una superficie superior (20) enfrentada a la superficie superior (10) de dicha cavidad (4) de la tapa de cilindros (5) y forma ángulo con respecto a ésta, y una superficie lateral (21), presentando la parte principal de la cámara de combustión una extensión lateral delimitada por la superficie de fondo (7) de la tapa delimitada por la superficie de fondo (7) de la tapa de cilindros (5) del motor y por una parte plana (22) de la corona del pistón (1) ortogonal al eje del cilindro (2).
