Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los motores de combustión interna de encendido dirigido y de inyección de gasolina en el cilindro, con un volumen prevaleciente de cámara de combustión practicado en el émbolo, caracterizados por la combinación de las siguientes características: El inyector (36,64) está situado en la pared lateral del cilindro (12) en la proximidad de la culata (20); -La parte de la cámara de combustión (42,50,56,74) practicada en el émbolo (14) está concentrada en una parte del techo del émbolo (14) de modo a producir extensas áreas de compresión de la mezcla entre el techo del émbolo (14) y la culata del cilindro (20); -la culata del cilindro (12) contiene una cámara anterior de encendido (30), situada en el lado opuesto del inyector (36,64) y en la cual se encaran los electrodos (32) de una bujía (34) -el inyector (36,64) está conformado y orientado de modo a dirigir por lo menos una parte del combustible a una zona adyacente a la pre cámara de encendido (30) y que está destinada aconstituir una parte del volumen de la cámara de combustión.
