Abstract

Propulsor de buque con una generación de energía eléctrica, mediante la cual puede alimentarse energía eléctrica a una red de buque, y un sistema de propulsión eléctrico que es alimentable con energía eléctrica por medio de la red de buque y que presenta un equipo de frenado eléctrico (1), estando el equipo de frenado eléctrico (1) del sistema de propulsión eléctrico conformado como resistencia de frenado eléctrica (1), caracterizado porque la resistencia de frenado está equipada al menos con un bloque de resistencias (6), respectivamente dos bloques de resistencias (6), presentando cada bloque de resistencias (6) dos ramas de resistencias (7, 8) que están unidas una a la otra en un extremo, respectivamente en un punto cero, y un intercambiador de calor aire/agua (9) que está dispuesto dentro de una carcasa metálica (2) de la resistencia de frenado eléctrica (1).
