Abstract

Generador para el aprovechamiento energético de corrientes marinas, que tiene un sistema de generación, un casco central (1) y unos flotadores (2) unidos a éste. Además, el generador tiene un par de rotores (3, 3’) contrarrotativos enfrentados y separados entre sí, que están conectados al sistema de generación, y que están formados por una pluralidad de palas (4) fijadas a un buje (5). Cada uno de los rotores (3, 3’) está unido por el buje (5) a un extremo de una carcasa horizontal (6), la cual aloja el eje de giro (7) de los rotores, estando fijada dicha carcasa horizontal (6) al casco central (1) bajo éste, de tal forma que quedan sumergidos en el agua cada uno de los rotores (3, 3’). Adicionalmente, el generador presenta un mecanismo de variación (8) del ángulo de ataque de las palas (4) de los rotores (3, 3’) con respecto a la corriente marina.
