resumo patente de invenção: "arranjo de propulsão em um navio". a presente invenção refere-se a um arranjo de propulsão que é composto por, pelo menos, uma unidade de propulsão (10) situada na popa do navio. pelo menos uma unidade de propulsão (10) é composta por uma estrutura de suporte oca (11) anexada ao casco, uma câmara (12) anexada à estrutura de suporte, um motor elétrico (13) dentro da câmara (12), uma hélice (15) na extremidade frontal da câmara (12), a referida hélice (15) sendo conectada por meio de um eixo ao motor elétrico (13), e um leme (16) apoiado de forma pivotável na extremidade traseira da câmara (12). pelo menos uma unidade de propulsão (10) é montada para que uma linha de eixo (sl) forme um ângulo de inclinação vertical (a) na faixa de 1 a 8 graus em relação à linha da água (wl) de forma que a extremidade frontal da câmara (22) é mais baixa do que a extremidade traseira da câmara (22) em relação à linha da água (wl).
