Abstract
Un método para análisis de metilación, comprende a) tratar ADN genómico con uno o más reactivos para convertir bases de citosina no metiladas a sulfonato de uracilo o a otra base que tenga un comportamiento de unión diferente de citosina, mientras que la citosina metilada permanece sin cambio; b) amplificar el ADN tratado por medio de i) un oligonucleótido que comprende o que consiste de una secuencia definida por la SEQ ID NO: 5 o una variante de la misma con supresión de 5'-terminal y/o 3'-terminal de 1, 2, 3, 4 o 5 nucleótidos; y ii) un oligonucleótido que comprende o que consiste de una secuencia que se define por la SEQ ID NO: 44 o una variante de la misma con supresión de 5'-terminal y/o 3'-terminal de 1, 2, 3, 4 o 5 nucleótidos; en donde dichos oligonucleótidos son adecuados para uso como cebadores; c) deducir la presencia o ausencia de metilación de los dinucleótidos CpG amplificados en la etapa b) a partir de los resultados de la etapa b).
