Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención por destilación de monoetilenglicol de elevada pureza a partir del producto de hidrólisis de etilenglicol mediante eliminación del agua a presión, eliminación del agua en vacío y a continuación purificación por destilación, caracterizado porque las columnas para la eliminación del agua a presión o al menos la primera columna para la eliminación del agua a presión de la cascada (2, 3, 4) presenta una zona de agotamiento con al menos una etapa de separación siendo la presión en la zona de agotamiento al menos de 1 bar y descargándose una parte de la corriente de cabeza de la o de las columnas para la eliminación del agua a presión (2, 3, 4) con zona de agotamiento.
