DESPUES, EL MEDIO SE SOMETE A UN GRADIENTE DE CAMPO MAGNETICO PARA SEPARAR LAS PARTICULAS DEL MEDIO. EL ENLACE NO ESPECIFICO PREFERIDO SE CONSIGUE COMO RESULTADO DE INTERACCIONES DE CARGA ENTRE LAS PARTICULAS, USUALMENTE POR MEDIO DE UN REACTIVO POLIIONICO. EL METODO DE LA INVENCION TIENE ESPECIAL APLICACION A LA SEPARACION DE CELULAS Y MICROORGANISMOS DE SUSPENSIONES ACUOSAS, Y TAMBIEN PARA LA DETERMINACION DE UN ANALITO EN UNA MUESTRA SOSPECHOSA DE CONTENERLO.
