Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a passenger transport vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle or a bus.
  • passenger transport vehicles are known from local and long-distance transport and serve different train stations and stops.
  • stops or train stations are equipped with platforms from which passengers can get on and off the passenger transport vehicle directly from an elevated position through door devices.
  • the entry areas of a passenger transport vehicle are located above the axles of the vehicle, so that the height of the entry areas is raised relative to the lower floor.
  • An object of the present invention is therefore to provide an improved passenger transport vehicle for transporting passengers, wherein In particular, easy accessibility and at the same time high passenger transport capacity should be ensured.
  • the passenger transport vehicle has a car body which is mounted on at least two axles.
  • the axles can be arranged in bogies so that the passenger transport vehicle is designed as a rail vehicle. It is irrelevant whether the bogies in the form of so-called Jacobs bogies are used to additionally support another car body or exclusively the one car body of the one rail vehicle.
  • the car body is structured as follows: in the vertical direction, single-story car sections are located essentially vertically above an area of the axles or above an area of the bogies, with a double-story car section with a lower level and an upper level being provided in the longitudinal direction between the single-story car sections. According to one embodiment, the car body is therefore not completely double-story. Since the axles of the passenger transport vehicle can be provided, for example, in the longitudinal direction at end areas of the car body, these end areas are preferably single-story.
  • the lower floor provided in this way has two entry areas for side entry of passengers, which are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the passenger transport vehicle, with a first passenger area being provided in the longitudinal direction between the entry areas.
  • the entry areas each have at least one door device.
  • the term "passenger area” is to be understood as being suitable for accommodating passengers in a comfortable manner over a longer period of time.
  • a passenger area has seating devices so that a passenger does not have to spend the journey in an awkward position.
  • boarding area means that a door device is mandatory in this, whereby the primary purpose of an boarding area is to enable passengers to access a passenger area of the vehicle from outside the vehicle.
  • the upper floor comprises a second passenger area, a third passenger area and a fourth passenger area.
  • the entire upper floor is arranged essentially vertically directly above the boarding areas and the first passenger area.
  • the second and third passenger areas of the upper floor are provided essentially directly above the boarding areas.
  • the fourth passenger area lies longitudinally between the second and third passenger areas, whereby the fourth passenger area is thus arranged essentially above the first passenger area of the lower floor.
  • This arrangement means that not only the first passenger area on the lower floor and the fourth passenger area on the upper floor can be used to transport seated passengers, but also the third and fourth passenger areas above the boarding areas can be used for this purpose.
  • the boarding areas and the door devices are essentially at a similar height to the first passenger area on the lower floor - however, a small difference in height is possible and may also be useful - so that access to the first passenger area is made easier via the boarding area.
  • a relatively large difference in height would have to be overcome in order to get from the boarding area to a passenger area.
  • the car body comprises a staircase device which is designed in such a way that access is possible from an entry area to the upper floor and to the single-storey carriage sections.
  • the first and/or the fourth passenger area can be constructed as so-called transverse seating areas.
  • the second and third passenger areas above the entry areas on the upper floor are designed as longitudinal seating areas.
  • the differentiation as a transverse seating area or longitudinal seating area is made on the basis of the arrangement of a predominant proportion of the existing seating devices for passengers: in a transverse seating area, the seating direction of the passengers is predominantly aligned in or against the direction of travel or in the longitudinal direction, in particular the seating devices are designed as double seats with two seats next to each other.
  • the longitudinal seating area on the other hand, mainly comprises seating devices whose seating direction is essentially aligned transversely to the direction of travel or in the transverse direction of the passenger transport vehicle.
  • the first passenger area can have, in addition to the seating, areas without seating - or with folding seats - which are specifically reserved for wheelchairs, for storing luggage or for bicycles.
  • the seating devices of the second and third passenger areas which are designed as longitudinal seats, are arranged longitudinally on the side of the car body. This allows access to the fourth passenger area, in particular designed as a transverse seating area, centrally between the seating devices of the second and third passenger areas.
  • the second and third passenger areas each comprise seating arrangements for at least five, in particular eight persons.
  • a basic idea is based on a passenger transport vehicle, whereby the car body - and possibly in conjunction with a position of the axles - is designed in such a way that a floor clearance in the vertical direction between a lateral entry edge of the door device and a rail top edge is between 700 and 800 mm, preferably between 720 and 780 mm, particularly preferably 760 mm. In this way, it is achieved for the first time that access to the The entry area of the passenger transport vehicle can essentially be at the same or similar height level on most platforms.
  • the first passenger area comprises a first passenger floor, the first passenger floor being lower in the vertical direction than an entry floor of the entry area.
  • a height difference must be overcome, although both areas are located on the lower floor.
  • This different arrangement of the floors means that the space available in the cross-section of the car body can be used particularly efficiently, in particular a larger vertical installation space is available for the first passenger area on the lower floor and for the fourth passenger area on the upper floor.
  • the arrangement of the entry area comprising an entry edge at the advantageous height level mentioned above is made possible.
  • a so-called first vertical distance between the entry floor and the first passenger floor in the vertical direction is between 50 and 250 mm, preferably between 100 and 170 mm, in particular 123 or 147 mm.
  • the first passenger floor is arranged lower in the vertical direction than the entry edge of the door device.
  • a height difference must therefore be overcome in order to get from the entry edge to the level of the first passenger floor.
  • the entry area can have a slope that leads from the height level of the entry edge to the height level of the first passenger floor.
  • the second passenger area is provided with a second passenger floor, the third passenger area with a third passenger floor and the fourth passenger area with a fourth passenger floor
  • the fourth passenger floor is arranged lower in the vertical direction than the second passenger floor and/or the third passenger floor.
  • the fourth passenger floor is therefore at a lower height than the second and/or third passenger floor.
  • This measure also helps to ensure that the installation space of the car body can be used particularly efficiently in the cross-sectional direction. In particular, this makes it possible to provide a minimum height of the fourth passenger area of 1950 mm while at the same time arranging supply facilities in an installation space in a central area of the ceiling above the fourth passenger area.
  • the fourth passenger area is designed in such a way that it has a central area with fourth minimum dimensions in the transverse direction. These fourth minimum dimensions correspond to the TSI regulations (Technical Specifications for Interoperability for Rail Transport of the European Union).
  • a second vertical distance between the second passenger floor and the fourth passenger floor and/or a third vertical distance between the third passenger floor and the fourth passenger floor is between 50 and 200 mm, preferably between 80 and 150 mm, in particular 107 mm.
  • a ramp is provided between the entry floor and the first passenger floor, by means of which the different height levels between the entry floor and the passenger floor can be overcome without steps.
  • this ramp can be inclined to a horizontal at a first angle of less than 10°, in particular 8.5°.
  • a step at a transition between the entry floor and the first Passenger floor is designed with essentially horizontal surfaces.
  • a transition/transitions between the second passenger floor and the fourth passenger floor and/or between the third passenger floor and the fourth passenger floor is/are equipped with a second and/or a third ramp, so that a height difference between these passenger floors can be overcome without steps.
  • the second and/or third ramp is/are inclined to the horizontal at a second angle of less than 10°, in particular less than 8.5°, preferably by 7°.
  • the presence of the ramp/s at the transition between the fourth passenger area and the second and/or third passenger area is particularly advantageous for the spatial design of the car body. This is because it prevents a passenger from making an abrupt height difference when passing through these transitions, which could potentially lead to the passenger's head colliding with part of the ceiling of the upper floor.
  • the stepless transition in the upper floor thus reduces the risk of injury to passengers.
  • the entry floor of the entry area is arranged at a lower height than the entry edge.
  • the entry floor is limited to a central floor section of the entry area.
  • a slope is provided between the entry edge and the lower entry floor in order to ensure a smooth transition from the entry edge on the door device to the entry floor.
  • step-free transitions or a step-free slope in the lower floor ensure good barrier-free access to the lower floor, so that wheelchairs, suitcases, bicycles, etc. can reach the first passenger area particularly easily.
  • the second and third passenger areas are designed in such a way that space is provided for supply equipment in an area between a lateral wall of the car body and the seating arrangements. This means that this space is designed in such a way that cables, air conditioning shafts, hoses, functional components or other facilities can be arranged for the operation of the passenger transport vehicle.
  • the car body and the interior of the car body in the area of the second and/or third passenger area can be designed in such a way that there is no relevant installation space for supply facilities, for example for air conditioning ducts, in a central area of the ceiling of the second and/or third passenger area.
  • the entire cross-section, in particular the height, of the car body is thus used for efficient use for passenger transport. This is particularly advantageous if the second passenger floor and/or the third passenger floor is/are located at a higher level than the fourth passenger floor.
  • the central section of the second and/or third passenger area therefore also complies with the TSI requirements.
  • the car body and interior fittings in the area of the fourth passenger area can be selected so that there is space for supply facilities in a central area of the ceiling of the fourth passenger area.
  • supply facilities in the area of the second and third passenger areas can be provided laterally on a wall area of the car body, which are then transferred to the middle of the ceiling at the transition to the fourth passenger area. This is particularly desirable if side luggage racks are provided in the ceiling area in the fourth passenger area.
  • the car body is constructed in the area of the entry area such that a side door area - i.e. a lateral section of the entry area in the immediate vicinity of the door device - is designed to be higher in terms of vertical characteristics than a central middle area of the entry area - i.e. a central section of the entry area above the central entry floor.
  • This can be achieved, for example, by the third and/or fourth passenger floor having a support structure that is bent downwards in cross-section. This can reduce the risk of injury for taller passengers who may enter the passenger transport vehicle through the door device with a swing from a platform that is higher than the entry edge.
  • the door devices and/or the entry areas for getting in and out of the passenger transport vehicle are not arranged above an axle and/or a bogie.
  • the height of the entry edge and/or the entry floor is lower than a vertically upper edge of a wheel guided on the axle. It should be clarified that door devices can certainly be provided in an area above an axle or above a bogie, whereby these door devices are only suitable for getting into another passenger transport vehicle that is connected to the passenger transport vehicle.
  • the entry areas have first minimum dimensions
  • the second, third and fourth passenger areas each have second minimum dimensions, third minimum dimensions and fourth minimum dimensions, with all minimum dimensions complying with the provisions of the European Union's Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) for rail transport.
  • TTI European Union's Technical Specifications for Interoperability
  • the entry area has a step leading downwards and/or a sliding step in the effective proximity to the door device.
  • the sliding step can serve to bridge a possible gap between the platform and the vehicle and/or can be designed in such a way that a wheelchair can be moved into the passenger transport vehicle essentially without external lifting from a platform edge.
  • a toilet on the lower floor in particular a pallet with a disabled-accessible design. This ensures that - in contrast to having a toilet on the upper floor - every passenger can reach the toilet regardless of their physical abilities.
  • one or more embodiments of the described passenger transport vehicle as a rail vehicle, in particular as a wagon and/or railcar.
  • the passenger transport vehicle shown is designed according to one embodiment as a rail vehicle 1 and is shown in a side view.
  • FIGS 2 to 6 provide further views of the embodiment of the passenger transport vehicle.
