Definitions
- the invention relates to a harness buckle for a harness for kitesurfing, windsurfing or sailing and a harness belt with such a harness buckle.
- Such harness belts can be designed as a waist harness or as a seat harness and usually have a harness hook that is attached to a front bracket or a front panel.
- a hip belt with a padded back part is attached to this front panel and is provided with pads/reinforcements or the like in the area of the lumbar spine. Since, for example, when kite surfing, the forces introduced via the kite act relatively strongly in the vertical direction, it is particularly important for waist harnesses that they fit well. Accordingly, the trapeze must be applied relatively tightly to the body to prevent it from slipping.
- trapezoids usually have a trapezoid fastener in which a snap-hook element is hooked into an eyelet, with adjustable straps between a hook plate or the front bracket and the back part making it possible to adapt to the waist circumference.
- the problem here is that the carabiner has to be hooked into the eyelet with a relatively large amount of force in order to ensure that the trapeze fits exactly on the hip.
- the release of this lock is also particularly problematic, since in order to release the carabiner, a corresponding pretension must be applied in order to be able to unhook the carabiner.
- this handle can be designed as a pull strap, via which the surfer can apply a comparatively large amount of force to release it.
- a trapeze belt in which a locking piece of a trapeze lock that can be connected to a ring-shaped or eyelet-shaped retaining element is designed as a pivoted lever that is pivoted about a pivot axis.
- This pivoting lever has a suspension hook on a first end section and a locking hook at a distance therefrom, the pivot axis being formed at a distance from the suspension hook.
- a trapeze lock is shown in which a long pivoting lever is articulated on the hook plate or a bar carrying the trapeze hook and can be brought into tightening engagement with an end fitting which is connected to the actual trapeze belt via belts or the like.
- This solution is problematic because, on the one hand, the pivoting lever requires a considerable installation space and pivoting range and, on the other hand, the hanging of the end fitting and the pivoting of the pivoting lever require a certain skill on the part of the user.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a trapeze belt with improved handling.
- the trapeze lock according to the invention has at least one end fitting which can be coupled to the actual trapeze belt by means of belts or other traction means.
- a locking piece of the trapezoidal lock can be brought into tightening engagement with a retaining element formed on a hook plate or the like, this locking piece being connected to the end fitting by means of a pivoted lever arrangement in such a way that the end fitting can be moved or adjusted in the tightening direction when the pivoted lever arrangement is actuated.
- the tensioning is thus carried out by adjusting the end fitting and not, as in conventional solutions, by tensioning devices on the hook plate.
- the closing piece has at least two approximately parallel, hook-shaped claws which can be brought into engagement with the retaining element in a non-positive and positive manner.
- This form-fitting engagement takes place in such a way that tilting of the claws in relation to the retaining element can be essentially prevented during clamping and also during use.
- these claws are made of metal or a fiber-reinforced plastic. These claws can be formed on a claw plate, so that the closing piece is formed by the claws and the claw plate.
- the pivoting lever arrangement has a pivoting plate which is articulated on the closing piece by means of an articulation and which in turn is connected to the end fitting at a distance from the articulation via a pivot joint. The required tension can then be applied to the trapeze belt by actuating the swivel plate.
- Actuation is particularly easy if the swivel plate extends beyond the swivel joint, so that a comparatively large lever arm is created in relation to the linkage.
- the pivot plate is pivoted for clamping in a position towards the closing piece, so that the Claws are then essentially covered and are thus secured even better against twisting/loosening.
- the form-fitting engagement of the at least one hook-shaped claw can be achieved, for example, in that each of these dips into a pocket of the retaining element with a precise fit, at least in sections.
- the claw has a hook-shaped end section and an adjoining claw bar that dips into the pocket, so that the claw bar is supported in the pocket transversely to the pulling direction.
- the two claws are offset laterally, that is to say transversely to the claw web extension, and are formed on a claw plate. This development simplifies the positioning of the closing piece in relation to the retaining element.
- a particularly compact solution is obtained when the retaining element and the pockets are integrated into the hook plate.
- the retaining element is designed with bolts, each of which is arranged in a pocket.
- the retaining element can also be formed by corresponding ribs/webs, which can be encompassed by the hook-shaped claws.
- the harness according to the invention is designed with a harness buckle according to the invention.
- the trapeze described below can be designed as a waist harness or seat harness and is suitable for kitesurfing, windsurfing or sailing.
- a waist harness referred to below as a harness
- This harness belt 1 has according to in figure 1 schematically illustrated top view of a hip belt 2 with a back part 4, which has, for example, a reinforcement to distribute the forces on the back area.
- the back part 4 is adapted or adaptable to the anatomy of the back and goes into two side parts 6, 8 over, which are designed to be much more elastic than the back part 4 and enclose the torso of the user laterally.
- front flaps 10, 12 on the stomach side can be provided, which are connected by means of a Velcro fastener when the harness belt 1 is put on.
- the two side parts 6, 8 are directly or indirectly connected to a front or hook plate 14, which stretches over the two front straps 10, 12 and on which a trapezoid hook 16 is attached.
- the hook plate 14 is designed as a molded piece made of plastic that rests flat on the abdomen. In principle, however, the solution according to the invention can also be implemented with a conventional metal bar on which the trapeze hook 16 is arranged.
- the exchangeable hook plate 14 is connected to the side parts 6, 8, for example, in a conventional manner via belt straps 18, 20, which are deflected with frictional engagement at end fittings 22, 24, so that the trapeze belt 1 can be preset by adjusting these belt straps 18, 20.
- the inside figure 1 left end fitting 24 is part of a trapezoidal closure 26, via which the end fitting 24 is connected to the webbing 20 with the adjacent end section of the hook plate 14.
- this trapezoidal lock 26 is designed in such a way that it can initially be hooked into the hook plate 14 without pretension and then brought into a tensioned position in which the associated end fitting 24 can be moved/adjusted in the tensioning direction, i.e. towards the hook plate 14 .
- figure 2 shows a front view of the in figure 1 left end portion of the hook plate 14. This has at its in figure 2
- the end section shown has two pockets 28, 30, into which the trapezoidal closure 26 with two hook-shaped claws 32, 34, which will be explained in more detail below, dips and thereby encompasses retaining elements designed as bolts 35, for example.
- bolts 35 pass through the pockets 28, 30 transversely to the longitudinal extent of the pockets 28, 30.
- the end fitting 24 is articulated on the trapezoid closure 26, and the straps are then looped through the end fitting.
- the trapezoidal closure 26 is shown in its closed position, in which the claws 32, 36 and the pockets receiving them 28, 30 is covered at least in sections by a swivel plate 36.
- the belt straps 18, 20 are subjected to the maximum tensile force, which ensures that the trapeze belt 1 fits perfectly.
- figure 3 shows the arrangement according to figure 2 in the relaxed state.
- the pivoting plate 36 of the trapezoidal lock 26 is pivoted away from the hook plate 14 .
- the end fitting 24 is articulated on the pivoting plate 36, so that the end fitting 24 is also moved in the relaxation direction accordingly - in other words, by opening the trapezoidal lock 26 in the figure 3
- the clear width of the trapeze belt 1 is increased so that the trapeze lock 26 can be unhooked from the hook plate 14 .
- the two hook-shaped claws 32, 34 can be seen, which dip into the pockets 28, 30 with a precise fit and thereby engage around the bolts 35.
- the claws 32, 34 can then be unhooked practically without the application of force due to the relaxed trapezoidal lock 26, so that the operative engagement with the bolts 35 is eliminated.
- the width B of the pockets 28, 30 corresponds approximately to the width of the claws 32, 34, so that these lie against the peripheral walls of the pockets 28, 30 and thus the two claws 32, 34 cannot tilt in relation to the hook plate 14. This is a problem, particularly in the case of trapezoidal closures with a single hook-shaped closing piece, which reduces the wearing comfort when there are high lateral loads. This disadvantage is eliminated by the solution according to the invention.
- figure 4 shows the trapezoidal fastener 26 in an individual representation, with the trapezoidal fastener 26 being opened/relaxed.
- the two approximately parallel claws 32, 34 which in principle each consist of a hook-shaped end section 38, 40, which are connected via claw webs 42, 44 to a claw plate (see also figure 3 ) 46 are connected.
- the claw plate 46 On the claw plate 46 there are two joint straps 48, 50 (the latter is shown in figure 2 to see) perpendicularly upwards (view after figure 4 ) with respect to the pivot plate 36 is bent. at these Joint plates 48, 50 are then articulated via an articulation 52, the pivot plate 36.
- FIG figure 5 shows a view of the trapezoidal closure 26 according to FIG figure 3 , In which the two claws 32, 34 are arranged in front.
- the two claws 32, 34 are connected via the two claw webs 42, 44 to the claw plate 46, on which the two articulated brackets 48, 50 angled by 90° are formed.
- the two claws 32, 34 are not symmetrical when viewed in the direction of pull, but are arranged slightly laterally offset on the claw plate 46, so that the claw 34 or its claw web 44 runs approximately in the extension of a side edge 51 of the claw plate 46, while the other claw 32 or its claw web 42 runs at a distance from a side edge 53 of the claw plate 46 which is arranged approximately parallel to the side edge 51 .
- FIG figure 6 shows the trapezoidal closure 26 in the closed state, in which the maximum tensile stress is applied via the straps.
- the pivoting plate 36 is shown in FIG figure 6 To the right, pivoted toward the claws 32, 34, with the end fitting 24 being arranged in alignment with the pivot plate 36 approximately in the circumferential direction of the trapeze belt 1.
- the two joint brackets 48, 50 dipping into the side walls 58, 60, which are connected to one another in an articulated manner via suitable joint axes, for example by means of bolts inserted into the side walls 58, 60.
- FIG figure 6 A swivel joint, via which the end fitting 24 is connected to the swivel plate 36, is shown in FIG figure 6
- the exemplary embodiment illustrated is designed in such a way that articulated webs 64 on the end fitting 24 on the one hand and articulated webs 66 on the swivel plate 36 on the other hand interlock alternately, so that the swivel joint is designed with great stability and it is ensured that the tensile force is transmitted in the predetermined manner without twisting the components .
- figure 7 shows an exemplary embodiment in which the entire trapezoidal lock 26 with the claws 32, 34 of the claw plate 46, the pivot plate 36 articulated thereon and the end fitting 24 articulated to the pivot plate 36 are made of fiber-reinforced plastic, so that the manufacturing costs are lower than in the case described above embodiment are.
- these fiber-reinforced plastics ensure that the tensile forces that occur are transmitted without any unwanted deformation/elasticity.
- a trapeze lock and a trapeze belt are disclosed, with two approximately hook-shaped claws preferably being formed on a closing piece of the trapeze lock, which can be brought into non-positive and positive engagement with a retaining element formed on a hook plate.
