Definitions

  • the invention relates to a storage container according to the preamble of claim 1, with a storage space for receiving objects and an outer door which, when open, allows the objects to be inserted into the storage container and, when closed, closes off the storage container from the outside.
  • receptacles can be used, for example, to receive waste and form waste receptacles or serve to hold laundry and form so-called laundry collectors.
  • a receiving container with the features according to the preamble of patent claim 1 is from the international patent application WO 2007/113568 A1 known.
  • Other receptacles are in the references DE 43 29 628 C1 , WO99/03758 A1 , U.S. 2013/298506 A1 , US2009/184125 A1 , EP 0 922 655 A1 and EP 2 465 794 A1 described.
  • the object of the invention is to improve a receptacle of the type described in the introduction.
  • a major advantage of the receptacle according to the invention can be seen in the fact that this - during the period in which objects are introduced from the outside into the receptacle - a significantly better protection from in the Proximity of the receiving container people from contamination from bacteria or viruses located in the receiving space offers as previously known receiving container.
  • the lock space makes it possible to bring objects into the lock space without the receiving space being directly accessible in this time phase.
  • the receiving space is separated from the lock space when the outer door is open.
  • a connection between the lock space and the receiving space for transferring objects from the lock space into the receiving space takes place in the receiving container according to the invention only when the outer door is closed. Consequently, the additional lock space provided according to the invention ensures that there is never a continuous air connection between the receiving space and the environment or the outside world outside of the receiving container and bacteria or viruses are prevented from escaping directly from the receiving space through the open outer door.
  • Another major advantage of the storage container according to the invention is that it is particularly suitable for use in hospitals or nursing homes, where dirty laundry contaminated with viruses and bacteria is first collected before it is transported to washing machines and/or disinfection machines.
  • the lock space can advantageously ensure that contaminated laundry that has already been deposited in the receiving space can no longer come into direct contact with the outside air.
  • the intended telescopic sliding door as an interior door is advantageous in terms of space savings.
  • the receiving container is a laundry collector and the receiving space is a laundry receiving space.
  • the receiving container is a waste container and the receiving space is a waste receiving space.
  • the inner door preferably hermetically seals the receiving space in the closed state. Accordingly, it is advantageous if the outer door hermetically seals or closes the lock chamber in the closed state.
