Definitions
- the invention relates to a storage container according to the preamble of claim 1, with a storage space for receiving objects and an outer door which, when open, allows the objects to be inserted into the storage container and, when closed, closes off the storage container from the outside.
- receptacles can be used, for example, to receive waste and form waste receptacles or serve to hold laundry and form so-called laundry collectors.
- a receiving container with the features according to the preamble of patent claim 1 is from the international patent application WO 2007/113568 A1 known.
- Other receptacles are in the references DE 43 29 628 C1 , WO99/03758 A1 , U.S. 2013/298506 A1 , US2009/184125 A1 , EP 0 922 655 A1 and EP 2 465 794 A1 described.
- the object of the invention is to improve a receptacle of the type described in the introduction.
- a major advantage of the receptacle according to the invention can be seen in the fact that this - during the period in which objects are introduced from the outside into the receptacle - a significantly better protection from in the Proximity of the receiving container people from contamination from bacteria or viruses located in the receiving space offers as previously known receiving container.
- the lock space makes it possible to bring objects into the lock space without the receiving space being directly accessible in this time phase.
- the receiving space is separated from the lock space when the outer door is open.
- a connection between the lock space and the receiving space for transferring objects from the lock space into the receiving space takes place in the receiving container according to the invention only when the outer door is closed. Consequently, the additional lock space provided according to the invention ensures that there is never a continuous air connection between the receiving space and the environment or the outside world outside of the receiving container and bacteria or viruses are prevented from escaping directly from the receiving space through the open outer door.
- Another major advantage of the storage container according to the invention is that it is particularly suitable for use in hospitals or nursing homes, where dirty laundry contaminated with viruses and bacteria is first collected before it is transported to washing machines and/or disinfection machines.
- the lock space can advantageously ensure that contaminated laundry that has already been deposited in the receiving space can no longer come into direct contact with the outside air.
- the intended telescopic sliding door as an interior door is advantageous in terms of space savings.
- the receiving container is a laundry collector and the receiving space is a laundry receiving space.
- the receiving container is a waste container and the receiving space is a waste receiving space.
- the inner door preferably hermetically seals the receiving space in the closed state. Accordingly, it is advantageous if the outer door hermetically seals or closes the lock chamber in the closed state.
- the bag closure device is a welding device or includes one that can weld the collecting bag shut.
- the bag closure device is preferably arranged in the upper area of the receiving space below the inner door.
- the receiving container has a filling level measuring device and/or weighing device which can measure the filling level of the collecting bag and/or its weight and generates a filling level signal indicating a filled collecting bag when the filling level of the Collecting bag and/or its weight have reached a predetermined fill level and/or weight threshold, and the bag closure device is activated, in particular directly by the fill level measuring device or indirectly via the control device when the fill level signal is present.
- the collection bag is preferably finally closed independently of the movement of the bag closure elements only when the collection bag is already sufficiently full or closure is desired for other reasons.
- a heating element can be provided at the ends of the bag closure elements, which heats up when activated, preferably when current flows, thereby melting the adjacent bag section of the collecting bag and welding the collecting bag shut.
- the receiving container preferably has a maintenance door which makes the receiving space accessible from the outside, in particular from the front or from the side, in particular allowing a collecting bag to be placed in the receiving space or a filled collecting bag to be removed from the receiving space.
- the control device is preferably designed in such a way that it blocks opening of the maintenance door if the collecting bag is not yet closed, ie in particular the bag closing device has not yet closed, in particular welded, the collecting bag.
- the control device can be a mechanical control device that mechanically blocks opening of the inner door when the outer door is open and allows opening of the outer door via mechanical means, in particular linkage and/or spring system, only when the inner door is closed.
- control device can work electrically and be or comprise an electrical, in particular electronic, control module.
- the receiving container has a second locking device which locks the maintenance door in the locked state and allows the maintenance door to be opened in the unlocked state, with the control device being designed in such a way that it locks the second locking device as long as the collecting bag is removed from the bag closure device has not been closed before, and unlocks it only after the collection bag has been closed by the bag closure device.
- the invention also relates to a method for operating a laundry collector located in a hospital or nursing home, in which used, particularly soiled, laundry is collected.
- the laundry is collected in a receptacle or laundry collector, as has been described above, with opening of the outer door of the laundry collector being blocked as long as the inner door is not completely closed, after the outer door has been opened and a subsequent closing of the outer door locks the outer door and then the inner door is opened, thereby allowing the lock space to be emptied in the direction of the receiving space by gravity and then the inner door is closed and after the inner door has been closed the outer door is unlocked again.
- the additional lock space makes it possible to achieve a separation between the environment and the receiving space and to prevent contamination of the environment from inside the receiving space when the outer door is open.
- a maintenance door which makes the receiving space accessible from the outside, in particular from the side, and in particular allows a collecting bag to be brought into the receiving space or a filled collecting bag to be removed from the receiving space, is or remains locked, as long as a laundry collector's own bag closure device for receiving the laundry in the receiving space collection bag located has not previously been closed, in particular welded.
- the figure 1 shows a cross-section of an exemplary embodiment of a receiving container 10 that has a receiving space 20 for receiving objects 30 .
- the objects can be items of laundry, for example, in which case the storage container 10 forms a so-called laundry collector and the storage space 20 forms a laundry storage space.
- the receiving container 10 can also be a waste container in which waste is collected as objects 30; in this case the receiving space 20 forms a waste receiving space.
- the receiving container 10 is provided with an outer door 40 which, when open, allows the objects 30 to be introduced into the receiving container 10 and, when closed, closes off the receiving container 10 from the outside.
- the closed state of the outer door 40 is indicated by dashed lines 40a.
- the outer door 40 can also be referred to as a drop-in door, since the objects 30 can be dropped through it when it is open.
- An inner door 50 is arranged between the receiving space 20 and the outer door 40 , which together with the outer door 40 forms a lock space 60 located above the receiving space 20 .
- the inner door 50 is preferably a telescopic sliding door, in which telescopic elements 50a and 50b are moved together to close the inner door 50 and are separated from one another to open the inner door 50; alternatively, the inner door 50 can also be a folding door.
- the receiving container 10 is also equipped with a control device 70 which allows the inner door 50 to be opened only when the outer door 40 is closed and the outer door 40 to be opened only when the inner door 50 is closed.
- the control device 70 serves to prevent both the outer door 40 and the inner door 50 from being opened at the same time and the receiving space 20 from being directly accessible when the outer door 40 is open and a continuous air duct being formed through which any items in the receiving space 20 bacteria or viruses could flow out due to air turbulence.
- the function of the control device 70 is therefore to initially introduce the objects 30 into the receiving space 20 via the lock space 60, namely in such a way that when the outer door 40 is open, the objects 30 are first introduced into the lock space 60, the inner door 50 still being closed at this point in time and the inner door separating the lock space 60 from the receiving space 20. Bacteria or viruses in the area of the receiving space 20 cannot penetrate to the outside, even though the outer door 40 is open.
- the outer door 40 is closed again by the operator.
- the closing of the outer door 40 is detected by the control device 70 so that it can subsequently cause the inner door 50 to be opened.
- the objects 30 stored in the lock space 60 can fall into the receiving space 20 .
- the receiving space 20 is preferably provided with a collecting bag 90 which is preferably suspended in the receiving space 20 .
- the control device 70 can be a purely mechanical control device that causes the inner door 50 to be actuated via mechanical energy stores such as spring systems or the like after the outer door 40 has been closed.
- mechanical energy stores such as spring systems or the like after the outer door 40 has been closed.
- a spring can be tensioned, the spring energy of which enables the inner door 50 to be opened after the outer door 40 has been closed.
- other spring systems can in turn be tensioned, which cause the inner door 50 to close automatically as soon as the outer door 40 is opened again. Energy can be introduced into the spring system or systems by the operator opening and closing the outer door 40 .
- control device 70 can be an electrically operating control device that is connected, for example, to an energy supply network via an electrical connection line 71 .
- the inner door 50 and the other components are preferably also controlled electrically, as will be explained in more detail below by way of example, ie preferably via electromechanical components.
- FIG. 12 shows the receptacle 10 after the outer door 40 has been moved from the open condition indicated by dashed lines 40a to its closed condition.
- the control device 70 detects the closing of the outer door 40 via a sensor, not shown, and initiates via an in the Figures 1 and 2 For the sake of clarity, the drive that is also not shown further opens the inner door 50.
- the inner door 50 is a telescopic sliding door
- the telescopic elements 50a and 50b of the telescopic sliding door are moved apart so that a passage is formed between the lock space 60 and the receiving space 20 .
- the figure 2 shows the opened inner door 50 and the direct fall connection between the lock space 60 and the receiving space 20 located underneath. Objects 30 stored in the lock space 60 can thus fall into the receiving space 20 or the catch bag 90 suspended therein due to gravity.
- the receptacle 10 is preferably provided with a Figures 1 and 2 Not shown locking device equipped, which locks or blocks the outer door 40 as long as the inner door 50 is not completely closed.
- control device 70 After a specified period of time, which is usually sufficient for gravity-related emptying of the lock chamber 60 in the direction of the receiving chamber 20, for example for a period of 10 seconds, the control device 70 will close the inner door 50 again and then unlock the outer door 40 so that the operator can open it again can be opened to store objects 30 in the lock room 60, as already in connection with the figure 1 has been explained.
- the receptacle 10 is preferably equipped with a maintenance door 80, the receiving space 20, in particular the catch bag 90 suspended therein, from the outside, in particular from the side or - as in the Figures 1 and 2 shown - makes accessible from the front.
- the maintenance door 80 When the maintenance door 80 is open, the collection bag 90 can be brought into the receiving space 20 or hung in there, or an already filled collecting bag 90 located therein can be removed from the receiving space 20 .
- the figure 3 shows the maintenance door 80 of the receptacle 10 according to FIGS Figures 1 and 2 in a front view.
- the maintenance door 80 can be designed with two leaves, for example, and can have two door leaves 80a and 80b, which allow the maintenance door 80 to be opened by pivoting outwards.
- the Figures 1 to 3 also show that the outer door 40 is preferably oriented at an angle to the horizontal when the receptacle 10 is placed on a horizontal support surface; such an orientation easily prevents the outer door from being misused as a shelf and the receptacle 10 from becoming blocked.
- the receptacle 10 is preferably equipped with other components that are in the Figures 1 to 3 are not shown further for reasons of clarity; these additional components and their interaction with the control device 70 are described below as an example in connection with the figure 4 explained in more detail.
- the figure 4 shows the control device 70, which is connected to a first locking device 41, a first sensor 42, a second sensor 52 and a drive 53.
- the first locking device 41 serves to lock the outer door 40 in the locked state, so that it cannot be opened by the operator when the inner door 50 is open.
- the first locking device 41 only allows the outer door 40 to be opened in the unlocked state.
- the first locking device 41 is only switched to the unlocked state by the control device 70 by means of a control signal Sv when the inner door 50 has been closed.
- the closed state of the inner door 50 detects the control device 70 with the second sensor 52, the a sensor signal Si, which indicates the opening state of the inner door 50, is transmitted to the control device 70.
- the first sensor 42 transmits a sensor signal Sa which indicates whether the outer door 40 is open or closed.
- Control device 70 may have, for example, an electrical, in particular electronic, control module 72 (e.g. integrated circuit, microprocessor, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), PLD (Programmable Logic Device)), which evaluates sensor signals Si and Sa and Control signal Sv for controlling the first locking device and a control signal STa for controlling the (inner door) drive 53 is generated.
- control module 72 e.g. integrated circuit, microprocessor, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), PLD (Programmable Logic Device)
- the controller 70 preferably operates as follows:
- the control device 70 preferably generates the control signal Sv for locking the first locking device 41 when the first sensor 42 indicates by means of the sensor signal Sa that the outer door 40 has been transferred from the open to the closed state. Thereby the outer door 40 is locked.
- the control device 70 then activates the drive 53 by means of the control signal STa so that it opens the inner door 50 .
- control device 70 After a predetermined period of time, which is sufficient for gravity-related emptying of the lock space 60 in the direction of the receiving space 20, for example after a period of time of 10 seconds, the control device 70 will close the inner door 50 again by means of the drive 53 or by means of the corresponding control signal STa.
- the control device 70 will unlock the first locking device 41 again with the control signal Sv.
- the figure 5 shows the receiving container 10 with the bag closure device 100 in a state in which the bag closure elements 101 and 102 are in their open state and have not yet acted on the catch bag 90 suspended in the receiving space 20 .
- the inner door 50 is closed; the outer door 40 may be closed, as shown in Figure 5, or open (as in connection with Figures 1 to 4 explained, see lines 40a in Figures 1 and 2).
- the above explanations in connection with the exemplary embodiment in FIG Figure 1 to 4 here preferably accordingly, so that reference is made to the statements above in this regard.
- the control device 70 is also in accordance with the embodiment figure 5 designed in such a way that it allows the inner door 50 to be opened only when the outer door 40 is closed and the outer door 40 to be opened only when the inner door 50 is closed, thereby ensuring that the receiving space 20 is never directly accessible from the outside via a continuous air duct, or In other words, it is guaranteed that bacteria or viruses cannot escape from the receiving space 20 directly to the outside due to air turbulence.
- the bag closure device 100 enables automatic closure of the collection bag 90 suspended in the accommodation space 20, wherein at the time of closure at least the accommodation space 20 of the accommodation container 10 is completely closed to the outside, i.e. at least both the outer door 40 or the inner door 50 and the maintenance door 80 are closed ; Preferably, at the time the suspended grass catcher bag 90 is closed, the outer door 40 and the maintenance door 80 or particularly preferably all three doors 40, 50 and 80 are closed.
- the bag closure device 100 can be triggered manually, for example, by a figure 5 not shown control button of the bag closure device 100 or controlled from the control device 70 - close the collecting bag 90.
- the figure 6 shows the closure of the collection bag 90 by means of the bag closure elements 101 and 102 of the bag closure device 100.
- the bag closure elements 101 and 102 which can be telescopic elements, for example, are moved into the interior of the receiving space 20 so that they open act on the outside of the bag 90 and compress the bag 90 from the outside.
- the bag closure elements 101 and 102 preferably trigger a complete hermetic closure of the debris bag 90, for example by gluing, welding or by attaching an external closure element (e.g. cable ties, adhesive tape or the like).
- Closing the collection bag 90 by the bag closure elements 101 and 102 forms a closure area 91, which is preferably a permanent, hermetically sealed closure area.
- a heating element is preferably provided at the ends of the bag closure elements 101 and 102, which heats up when activated, preferably by a current flow through the respective heating element, thereby melting the adjacent bag section of the collecting bag and welding the collecting bag shut.
- the figure 7 shows the bag closure device 100 after the bag closure elements 101 and 102 have been retracted again and in FIG figure 5 assume the position shown.
- the collection bag 90 In contrast to the representation according to figure 5 is the collection bag 90, however, to that in the figure 7
- the point in time shown is permanently hermetically sealed by the closure area 91, so that bacteria or viruses located in the interior of the collection bag 90 can no longer leave the collection bag 90 and the collection bag 90 can be safely removed and safely transported further with conventional means of transport.
- the control device 70 is preferably designed in such a way that it allows the maintenance door 80 to be opened for the purpose of accessing the collecting bag 90 only after the bag closing device 100 has closed, preferably hermetically sealed, the collecting bag 90 located therein.
- the control device 70 is preferably connected to a locking device which acts on the maintenance door 80 . This is explained in more detail below in connection with the figure 8 explained.
- FIGS. 5 to 7 shows components of the receptacle 10 according to FIGS Figures 5 to 7 , which have not been shown in FIGS. 5 to 7 for reasons of clarity.
- FIG 8 shows the control device 70, which is connected to a first locking device 41, a first sensor 42, a second sensor 52, a drive 53 for the inner door 50, a second locking device 81, the bag closing device 100, a level measuring device 110 and a weighing device 120.
- the second locking device 81 is additionally provided, which locks the maintenance door 80 in the locked state and allows the maintenance door 80 to be opened in the unlocked state.
- the control device 70 or its control module 72 is preferably designed in such a way that it locks the second locking device 81 as long as the collecting bag 90 has not yet been closed by the bag closing device 100 beforehand.
- the second locking device 81 is only unlocked after the collecting bag 90 has been closed by the bag closing device 100, so that the maintenance door 80 can only be opened and the already hermetically sealed collecting bag 90 can be removed after the collecting bag 90 has been closed.
- the second locking device 81 is actuated by a control signal Sv2.
- the bag closure device 100 can be controlled manually by means of an operating button, which is preferably arranged on the receiving container 10 so that it is accessible from the outside.
- the control device 70 it is possible for the control device 70 to control the bag closing device 100 by means of a control signal Sv3 when the receiving bag 90 has already been sufficiently filled with objects 30 .
- two measuring devices are provided, namely the filling level measuring device 110 and the weighing device 120; alternatively, it is possible to detect the filling level of the grass-catcher 90 with only one sensor or one measuring device, be it the filling-level measuring device 110 or the weighing device 120.
- the receptacle 10 can be in the receptacle 10 according to the Figures 1 to 8 to act as a laundry collector. If this is used in a hospital or nursing home, where experience has shown that there are high concentrations of harmful viruses and/or bacteria in soiled laundry, the operating method of the receptacle 10 described above avoids direct access when the outer door 40 is opened and closed or a direct exchange of air with the receiving space 20 and an undesired escape of bacteria or viruses through the open outer door 40 can take place.
- the receptacle 10 or the laundry collector in a hospital or nursing home is preferably operated in such a way that opening of the outer door 40 of the laundry collector is blocked as long as the inner door 50 is not completely closed after the outer door 40 has been opened and a subsequent closing of the outer door 40, the outer door 40 is locked and then the inner door 50 is opened, thereby allowing the lock space 60 to be emptied in the direction of the receiving space 20 by gravity. The inner door 50 is then closed and after the inner door 50 has been closed, the outer door 40 is unlocked again.
- the maintenance door 80 which makes the receiving space 20 accessible from the outside, in particular from the side or from the front, makes it possible, in particular, to bring the collecting bag 90 into the receiving space 20 or to remove a filled receiving bag 90 from the receiving space 20 , locked or remains locked as long as the laundry collector's own bag closing device 100 has not previously closed, in particular welded, the collection bag 90 .
- the bag closure elements 101 and 102 of the bag closure device 100 are separated from the inner door 50 designed as a telescopic sliding door.
- the bag closure elements 101 and 102 are each mounted on one of the telescopic elements 50a or 50b of the inner door 50 and with these when opening and closing the telescopic sliding door be moved (see figure 9 ).
- the collection bag 90 is preferably finally closed independently of the movement of the telescopic elements 50a or 50b and the bag closure elements 101 and 102, specifically only when the collection bag 90 is already sufficiently full or closure is desired for other reasons.
- a heating element HZ can be provided at the ends of the bag closure elements 101 and 102, which heats up when a current flow is impressed by the control device 70 as a control signal Sv3 and thereby melts the adjacent bag section of the collecting bag 90 and welds the collecting bag 90 shut.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by a receptacle having the features according to patent claim 1 . Advantageous configurations of the receptacle according to the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
A major advantage of the receptacle according to the invention can be seen in the fact that this - during the period in which objects are introduced from the outside into the receptacle - a significantly better protection from in the Proximity of the receiving container people from contamination from bacteria or viruses located in the receiving space offers as previously known receiving container. This is because the lock space makes it possible to bring objects into the lock space without the receiving space being directly accessible in this time phase. In other words, the receiving space is separated from the lock space when the outer door is open. A connection between the lock space and the receiving space for transferring objects from the lock space into the receiving space takes place in the receiving container according to the invention only when the outer door is closed. Consequently, the additional lock space provided according to the invention ensures that there is never a continuous air connection between the receiving space and the environment or the outside world outside of the receiving container and bacteria or viruses are prevented from escaping directly from the receiving space through the open outer door.
Another major advantage of the storage container according to the invention is that it is particularly suitable for use in hospitals or nursing homes, where dirty laundry contaminated with viruses and bacteria is first collected before it is transported to washing machines and/or disinfection machines. The lock space can advantageously ensure that contaminated laundry that has already been deposited in the receiving space can no longer come into direct contact with the outside air.
The intended telescopic sliding door as an interior door is advantageous in terms of space savings.
As already mentioned, it is advantageous if the receiving container is a laundry collector and the receiving space is a laundry receiving space.
Alternatively it can be provided that the receiving container is a waste container and the receiving space is a waste receiving space.
The inner door preferably hermetically seals the receiving space in the closed state. Accordingly, it is advantageous if the outer door hermetically seals or closes the lock chamber in the closed state.
It is particularly advantageous if the bag closure device is a welding device or includes one that can weld the collecting bag shut.
The bag closure device is preferably arranged in the upper area of the receiving space below the inner door.
With a view to automatic control of the bag closure device, it is considered advantageous if the receiving container has a filling level measuring device and/or weighing device which can measure the filling level of the collecting bag and/or its weight and generates a filling level signal indicating a filled collecting bag when the filling level of the Collecting bag and/or its weight have reached a predetermined fill level and/or weight threshold, and the bag closure device is activated, in particular directly by the fill level measuring device or indirectly via the control device when the fill level signal is present.
In this configuration, the collection bag is preferably finally closed independently of the movement of the bag closure elements only when the collection bag is already sufficiently full or closure is desired for other reasons. For example, a heating element can be provided at the ends of the bag closure elements, which heats up when activated, preferably when current flows, thereby melting the adjacent bag section of the collecting bag and welding the collecting bag shut.
The receiving container preferably has a maintenance door which makes the receiving space accessible from the outside, in particular from the front or from the side, in particular allowing a collecting bag to be placed in the receiving space or a filled collecting bag to be removed from the receiving space.
The control device is preferably designed in such a way that it blocks opening of the maintenance door if the collecting bag is not yet closed, ie in particular the bag closing device has not yet closed, in particular welded, the collecting bag.
The control device can be a mechanical control device that mechanically blocks opening of the inner door when the outer door is open and allows opening of the outer door via mechanical means, in particular linkage and/or spring system, only when the inner door is closed.
Alternatively, the control device can work electrically and be or comprise an electrical, in particular electronic, control module.
- a first locking device which locks the outer door in the locked state and allows the outer door to be opened in the unlocked state,
- a first sensor for detecting the locked status of the outer door,
- a second sensor for detecting the locking status of the inner door and
- a drive for the inner door,
- the first locking device locks when the first sensor indicates that the outer door has been transferred from the open state to the closed state,
- the inner door opens using the drive,
- after a predetermined period of time, which is preferably sufficient for gravity-related emptying of the lock space in the direction of the receiving space, the inner door closes again and
- the first locking device is unlocked again when the second sensor indicates the closed state of the inner door.
It is also advantageous if the receiving container has a second locking device which locks the maintenance door in the locked state and allows the maintenance door to be opened in the unlocked state, with the control device being designed in such a way that it locks the second locking device as long as the collecting bag is removed from the bag closure device has not been closed before, and unlocks it only after the collection bag has been closed by the bag closure device.
The invention also relates to a method for operating a laundry collector located in a hospital or nursing home, in which used, particularly soiled, laundry is collected.
According to the invention, it is provided, inter alia, that the laundry is collected in a receptacle or laundry collector, as has been described above, with opening of the outer door of the laundry collector being blocked as long as the inner door is not completely closed, after the outer door has been opened and a subsequent closing of the outer door locks the outer door and then the inner door is opened, thereby allowing the lock space to be emptied in the direction of the receiving space by gravity and then the inner door is closed and after the inner door has been closed the outer door is unlocked again.
With regard to the advantages of the method according to the invention, reference is made to the above statements in connection with the receiving container according to the invention. As explained, the additional lock space makes it possible to achieve a separation between the environment and the receiving space and to prevent contamination of the environment from inside the receiving space when the outer door is open.
It is considered to be particularly advantageous if a maintenance door, which makes the receiving space accessible from the outside, in particular from the side, and in particular allows a collecting bag to be brought into the receiving space or a filled collecting bag to be removed from the receiving space, is or remains locked, as long as a laundry collector's own bag closure device for receiving the laundry in the receiving space collection bag located has not previously been closed, in particular welded.
