Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hair supplement with hair that is aligned parallel to one another at its upper ends in a main direction and embedded and anchored in a plastic matrix, with a carrier tape running transversely to the main direction, on the front of which the plastic matrix is fastened, wherein the plastic matrix extends in the main direction essentially over the full width of the carrier tape and is covered on its outside facing away from the carrier tape with a matt covering layer, and with an adhesive layer covering the back of the carrier tape, which is designed to adhere the carrier tape to natural hair To attach the device of the hair supplement device. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing such a device for hair supplement.
  • a device for hair supplement with the features of the type described above, which corresponds to the preamble of independent claim 1, is from the DE 20 2005 010 845 U1 known.
  • this known device for hair extension a large number of hairs are attached to a carrier tape, which is at the same time designed as an adhesive tape around the Attach device to natural hair of a wearer.
  • the parallel, parallel hair is glued to the carrier tape over its entire width on one side.
  • the hair is anti-hygroscopic sealed where it is glued to the carrier tape.
  • such a seal ensures that its hygroscopic properties are suppressed, on the basis of which there is a risk of the hair becoming detached from its adhesion to the carrier tape as a result of the influence of moisture.
  • a plastic matrix is formed in the known device for hair supplementation, in which the individual hairs are embedded and anchored with their upper ends.
  • the plastic matrix On its side facing away from the carrier tape, the plastic matrix is covered with a matt and translucent covering layer, so that the plastic matrix of the device remains optically inconspicuous.
  • the carrier tape which is designed as an adhesive tape, has an adhesive layer on its rear side facing away from the plastic matrix in which the hair is anchored, for sticking to the natural hair of the carrier. This adhesive layer, like the plastic matrix, extends over the entire surface of the carrier tape.
  • the plastic matrix represents an optical disadvantage of the known hair extension device. That is, it is noticeable as soon as it is exposed.
  • the fact that the known device for hair supplementation is exposed is relatively common when the known device is attached by its wearer or by untrained personnel.
  • a hair extension which has hairs which are fastened at their upper ends in a solidified polymer, the ends of the hairs being retained in the polymer over a partial length of the hairs.
  • the solidified polymer is attached to a substrate on its rear side.
  • the substrate can be another solidified polymer.
  • the width of the substrate is larger in a main direction of the hair than the width of the solidified polymer in which the hair is attached. The larger width of the substrate makes it easier to attach the hair extension to the natural hair of its wearer.
  • the anchoring of the hair over a short length in the solidified polymer and the correspondingly smaller surface of the polymer are less noticeable. However, there is a high probability that the unnatural substrate will show through.
  • the substrate is formed at the same time as the polymer, the further polymer of the substrate being able to adhere to and between the hairs. So that the substrate is not directly to the outside shines through, it is covered beneath the narrower solidified polymer with hair that is only anchored in the narrower solidified polymer and runs freely underneath over the substrate.
  • a hair band with a strip-shaped support structure and with a plurality of hairs which protrude from the support structure in a main direction transverse to the main direction of extension of the support structure. Ends of the hair fixed to the support structure pass through an elastic film and are glued to the back of the film. The hair pierced by the elastic film is shortened to a few millimeters on the back of the film so that it does not overlap, and is fixed to the support structure only by gluing to the film. On the back of the film, the upper ends of the hair embedded in the adhesive are covered with a covering layer. An adhesive layer is provided on the back of the entire carrier structure and is provided with a removable protective layer.
  • the adhesive layer itself can also be removable so that it can be replaced if it has become inactive, for example due to the action of hair care or washing agents. If this well-known hair band is glued to the hair of a wearer, it is particularly inconspicuous because its hair protrudes individually from the film, which gives the impression of a natural scalp. However, the production of the known hair band is much more complex than that of the device for hair extension according to the DE 20 2005 010 845 U1 .
  • the hair band consists of two partial hair bands with their own adhesive layers on the back of their carrier tapes, which are only partially overlapped in the main direction of the hair using the adhesive tape of the front partial hair band, the front partial hair band being arranged higher in the main direction than the rear partial hair band.
  • a hair band is known in which the hair is embedded in a plurality of layers spaced apart in the thickness direction in a plastic matrix. In all layers, the hair extends across the full width of the plastic matrix from its upper end to its lower end. Openings are formed in the plastic matrix forming the hair in order to fasten this known hair band.
  • a hair extension device in which several hair bands are glued to the front of a mechanical fastening device which is provided on the back with felt-shaped fastening elements. All of the hair bands extend with their carrier bands and adhesive layers over the entire width of the fastening device in the main direction of the hair.
  • the device according to the invention a combination of those from the US 2017/0065014 A1 known hair extension with the from the DE 20 2005 010 845 U1 Known device for hair extension see by as a substrate for the polymer in which the ends of the hair of the hair extension after the US 2017/0065014 A1 are embedded, the device for hair extension after the DE 20 2005 010 845 U1 is used.
  • the device according to the invention comprises two groups of hair, that of the first hair, the ends of which are embedded and anchored across the width of the carrier tape in the first plastic matrix and correspondingly emerge at the lower edge of the carrier tape, and that of the second hair, the ends of which are in the are embedded and anchored over no more than half the width of the carrier tape at the upper edge of the carrier tape and which run freely underneath over the first covering layer that closes the first plastic matrix.
  • the first hair already conceals the carrier tape as well as the one from the DE 20 2005 010 845 U1 known device for hair supplement.
  • the second hair further camouflages the carrier tape due to its essentially free course.
  • the second plastic matrix in which the ends of the second hair are embedded and anchored, preferably extends in the main direction over no more than a third of the width of the Carrier tape so that the width of the front second plastic matrix that is visible from the outside is comparatively small.
  • the second plastic matrix remains particularly inconspicuous if it is provided with a matt second covering layer on its outside facing away from the carrier tape.
  • this matt second covering layer can comprise a covering strip.
  • This masking tape can provide the desired matt surface of the respective plastic matrix, and it can be embedded in the plastic of the respective plastic matrix, that is, infiltrated by this plastic. The latter applies in particular to a masking tape formed on the basis of fibers, such as a fabric or a gauze.
  • first and / or second plastic matrix and its possible covering layer are transparent or at least translucent from the outside facing away from the carrier tape to the hair, so that they reveal the embedded ends of the hair, this also contributes to the optical unobtrusiveness of the device according to the invention for hair supplement.
  • the second hairs running below the second plastic matrix in the main direction over the first covering layer of the first plastic matrix are in particular not glued on one side to the first plastic matrix or its covering layer, but rather they run freely over the first covering layer, so that they move away from the like natural hair can remove the first plastic matrix.
  • the second plastic matrix extends in the main direction over 2 to 6 or preferably 2.5 to 4 mm, while the first plastic matrix and the carrier tape in the main direction typically extend over 5 to 15 mm and preferably over 6 to 12 mm.
  • the hair of the hair-supplementing device according to the invention can be divided approximately equally between the first and the second hair.
  • the second hair can thus make up 30 to 70% of all hair of the device.
  • the second hair preferably comprises 45 to 60%, ie approximately half or a little more, of all the hair of the device in order to achieve a particularly unobtrusive overall visual impression.
  • first and second hairs are embedded and anchored in the first and second plastic matrix, they are anti-hygroscopically sealed by the first and second plastic matrix.
  • this seal ensures that their hygroscopic properties are suppressed, due to which there is a risk of the hair becoming detached from its anchoring in the respective plastic matrix as a result of the influence of moisture.
  • the second plastic matrix preferably extends transversely to the main direction as far as the carrier tape ends of the carrier tape and up to the matrix ends of the first plastic matrix.
  • the carrier tape, the first plastic matrix and the second plastic matrix preferably have the same dimensions transverse to the main direction.
  • the typical length of the carrier tape between its carrier tape ends in this direction transverse to the main direction is 10 to 50 mm. This length is preferably 15 to 40 mm, for example approximately 30 mm.
  • the carrier tape, the first plastic matrix and the second plastic matrix can have a predetermined kink at half the length of the carrier tape transversely to the main direction, at which a material cross section of the carrier tape and / or the first plastic matrix and / or the second plastic matrix is transverse to the Main areas adjacent areas is reduced by at least 10%.
  • This predetermined kinking point facilitates the one-handed application of the device for hair supplement according to the invention by folding the carrier tape around a strand of the natural hair of the carrier of the device, which can be held with the second hand.
  • the adhesive layer on the back of the carrier tape can be covered on its outside facing away from the carrier tape with a removable protective film. With this protective film, the device can in turn be removably adhered to any other similar devices on a self-adhesive product carrier.
  • the protective film can be divided into two sections transversely to the main direction in order to facilitate its removal from the adhesive layer when the carrier tape with the protective film is bent outward around the main direction.
  • a first adhesive layer is applied to a front side of a carrier tape. Then first hairs, which are aligned parallel to one another at their upper ends in a main direction, are placed on the first adhesive layer and covered with a second adhesive layer, which in turn is covered with a first masking tape.
  • a rear side of the carrier tape is covered with a third adhesive layer, which is designed to attach the carrier tape to natural hair of a wearer of the device for hair supplementation.
  • a fourth adhesive layer is applied to the masking tape, the fourth adhesive layer only covering the upper region of the carrier tape and in the main direction over no more than half the width of the Carrier tape extends.
  • Second hairs which are aligned parallel to one another at their upper ends in the main direction, are placed on the fourth adhesive layer and covered with a fifth adhesive layer.
  • the previous drying of the second adhesive layer prevents the second hair below the second plastic matrix formed from the fourth and fifth adhesive layers from sticking to the first plastic matrix formed from the first and second adhesive layers.
  • All of the adhesive layers mentioned here can be applied to their respective substrate in the form of a single layer, but independently of one another in the form of several partial layers.
  • the composition of the carrier tape can match that of the first masking tape, but can also be made stronger.
  • the third adhesive layer can be covered with a removable protective film and / or the fifth adhesive layer with a second masking tape.
