- the storage/feeding unit that holds the banknotes temporarily may be provided with a width position aligning mechanism for hitting the side edge portion of the banknote sent from the transporting unit 230 so as to align the banknote at the central position in the width direction.
- the reconciliation process of the banknotes with small size of the denomination thereof it is possible to prevent the position where the banknotes are stacked from deviating in the width direction when the banknotes are stacked in the storage/feeding unit 250.
