Definitions
- the invention relates to a chair with a deformable seat shell, which forms a seat part and a backrest, and a frame, wherein the seat part via a first pivot and the backrest are connected via a second pivot to the frame, wherein the pivot joints by a deforming the Seat shell allow conditional rotation of the seat part and the backrest relative to the frame.
- the frame of the chair disclosed therein comprises a foot portion and a seat base pivotally connected to the foot portion about a vertical axis.
- the seat base is connected to the seat part near the front edge of the seat via a first pivot which allows rotation about an axis of rotation oriented in the vertical direction of the chair.
- a backrest support is provided which comprises two L-shaped struts. In each case one end of the struts is rotatably mounted on each one end of a torsion bar of the seat base.
- the thus defined axis of rotation extends in the transverse direction of the chair and intersects the aligned in the vertical direction of rotation of the first rotary joint.
- the other ends of the struts are connected via a ball joint off-center with the backrest.
- the US 2,745,468 discloses a chair having a one-piece seat pan, wherein a seat portion of the seat pan is connected to a frame of the chair via a first hinge which allows rotation about an axis of rotation directed transversely of the chair.
- the frame comprises an L-shaped backrest support, a strut of which serves to support and guide a back part of the seat shell.
- the chair is primarily intended to allow a tilting function about the axis of rotation of the first pivot, wherein the back part is to be moved together with the seat part of the seat. This is made possible by a corresponding longitudinal axial movable guide in the region of the connection of the back part with the backrest support.
- This guide comprises a guide sleeve connected to the back part, which on the back part associated with the strut Backrest support is movably guided.
- the invention has the object underlying to provide a chair that the mobility of the DE 10 2011 001 811 A1 has known chair, but it is cheaper to produce.
- the "transverse direction" of the chair means any direction extending from one side of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair into a vertically aligned plane adjacent to this side of the chair) towards the other side of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair into a vertically aligned plane adjacent to this other side of the chair).
- the "vertical direction" of the chair means any direction extending from an underside of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair into a horizontally oriented plane located below the chair) towards an upper side of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair in FIG a plane horizontally oriented above the chair).
- the longitudinal direction of the chair is understood to mean any direction that extends from a rear side of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair into a vertically aligned plane behind the chair) in the direction of a front side of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair into a position on the chair) Front of the chair vertically aligned plane) extends.
- the inventive design of the chair thus provides an arrangement of the two connecting the seat with the frame pivot joints in the sagittal plane of a user of the chair. This makes it possible to achieve the desired mobility in conjunction with the deformable seat shell, wherein the number of parts required for the formation of the frame in comparison to that of the DE 10 2011 001 811 A1 known chair is reduced.
- a backrest support forming struts in the chair according to the DE 10 2011 001 811 A1 are connected via two pivot joints with a seat base and the backrest, a one-piece backrest support can be used, which is connected via only a rotary joint, which may be preferably in the form of a ball joint, connected to the backrest.
- the backrest support also integrates the first pivot joint, via which the frame is connected to the seat part of the seat shell.
- the seat part is still connected via at least one bearing with the frame, wherein the bearing is designed such that this obstructs a rotation of the seat part about an aligned in the longitudinal direction of the chair axis.
- the seat shell is given stability in the region of the seat part, which hinders lateral tilting of the seat shell in the region of the seat front edge in the event of an off-center loading by the user.
- the bearing especially in the vicinity of the seat leading edge, this does not hinder the intended deformability of the seat in the context of the use of the chair.
- the bearing can be functionally integrated into the first pivot.
- the bearing is formed separately from the first rotary joint and in particular is arranged at a distance therefrom in the transverse direction of the chair.
- at least two such bearings can be provided, which are arranged spaced on both sides of the first pivot bearing.
- a structurally simple and functionally advantageous embodiment of the bearing or bearings can provide that two bearing parts, one of which is connected to the frame and the other with the seat shell, are mutually displaceable in a plane extending in the transverse direction and longitudinal direction of the chair.
- the first hinge in the comprehensive half of the seat edge, preferably in the third or quarter of the seat leading edge and particularly preferably in the fifth seat covering the seat leading edge (each related on the extension of the seat part in the longitudinal direction of the chair) of the seat part is arranged.
- the second pivot is located above the body center of gravity of a (norm) user.
- the second pivot in particular in the upper backrest edge having half (Regarding the extent of the backrest in the vertical direction of the chair) of the backrest to be arranged.
- (standard) user means the adult P95 percentile.
- a connected via the second pivot with the backrest backrest support of the frame is connected via a third pivot with a connected via the first pivot to the seat part seat base of the frame.
- the third pivot defines an aligned in the transverse direction of the chair axis of rotation.
- the third rotary joint is spaced apart from the first rotary joint in the longitudinal direction of the chair, thus the at least one axis of rotation defined by the first rotary joint and the at least one axis of rotation defined by the third rotary joint do not intersect.
- the chair according to the invention may preferably be provided that this is adjustable between at least an upright first position and a reclined second position, wherein an angle between the seat part and the backrest in the second position is greater than in the first position.
- Such a change in angle between the seat part and the backrest can be realized in a structurally simple manner by the backrest support L-shaped or arcuate, wherein a first leg of the L-shaped backrest support or a first half of the arcuate backrest support via the third hinge with the Seat base and a second leg of the L-shaped backrest support or a second half of the arcuate Backrest support is connected via the second pivot with the backrest.
- the first hinge may further be preferred for the first hinge to rotate the seat part relative to the corresponding section of the frame about an axis of rotation oriented in the transverse direction of the chair and / or second pivot allows rotation of the backrest relative to the corresponding portion of the frame about a rotational axis aligned in the transverse direction of the chair.
- the frame is designed such that a rotation of the backrest support about the axis of rotation of the third pivot joint leads to a movement of the seat leading edge, possibly also of the first pivot, in the vertical direction of the chair.
- This functionality of the chair can be structurally advantageously implemented when the seat part, in particular via the first pivot, is fixed to a cross member, wherein the cross member rotatably with a lever (in particular at one end of this lever) and the lever (in particular at its other end ) is rotatably connected to the seat base and wherein a rotational movement of the lever relative to the seat base is coupled via a rod with a rotational movement of the backrest support about the axis of rotation of the third pivot joint.
- this may preferably be formed as a swivel chair, in which a connected via the first pivot to the seat part seat base of the frame is connected via a hinge with a foot part of the frame.
- the seat of the chair may preferably be integrally formed, so that the seat part and the backrest (further preferably in one piece) merge into one another.
- the seat shell comprises a seat part and a backrest, which are designed as separate components, and a frame connecting the seat part and the backrest.
- the frame may preferably be formed as centrally arranged with respect to the transverse direction of the chair, for example, L-shaped or arcuate extending beams.
- the deformation of the seat shell is made possible or absorbed, in particular, by the frame.
- an embodiment of the frame in the form of a (single or multilayer) leaf spring may be advantageous.
- Such an embodiment of the seat of the chair according to the invention makes it possible to form the seat part and the backrest as relatively rigid components, while the easily deformable frame ensures the deformability of the seat shell overall at relatively low forces.
- Such a chair according to the invention can also be advantageously designed in such a way that the seat part in the longitudinal direction of the chair and / or the backrest in the vertical direction of the chair is / are slidably mounted on the frame.
- the displacement can be provided only temporarily after a release of a locking device. This allows the best possible adaptation of the seat to different body dimensions of users.
- the in the Fig. 1 to 5 The chair shown comprises a frame 1 and a seat shell 2 connected to the frame 1.
- the frame 1 is substantially rigid. This is thus designed so that it does not functionally deform in a proper use of the chair.
- the frame 1 may be integrally formed, for example, welded together pipes. It forms, for example, as shown, four feet, over which the chair is placed on a substrate.
- the seat shell 2 is formed integrally, so that a section used as a seat part 3 merges into a section of the seat shell 2 used as the backrest 4.
- the seat shell 2 in one or more parts may be formed (see also FIGS. 14 and 15 ).
- the seat is connected via two hinges 5, 6 with the frame 1.
- a first pivot 5 is arranged in the vicinity of the seat leading edge 7 of the seat shell 2. With respect to the transverse direction of the chair, the first pivot 5 is centered and thus positioned approximately in the sagittal plane of a user of the chair.
- the first rotary joint 5 makes it possible to rotate the portion of the seat shell 2 connected to this rotary joint 5, specifically essentially the entire seat part 3, relative to the corresponding section of the frame 1 (the seat base 8) about a first axis of rotation 9.
- This first axis of rotation 9 extends in the vertical direction of the chair. Specifically, this is approximately vertically aligned (standing on a horizontal surface chair).

- the bearings 15 are in the height of the first pivot bearing 5 and the seat leading edge 7.
- the two bearings 15 are formed such that they support at least one load against the vertical direction, ie from top to bottom, ie prevent. This prevents twisting of the front portion of the seat part 3 about an axis oriented in the longitudinal direction of the chair, and consequently a tilting of a user together with the seat pan 2 to the side.
- the bearings 15 are designed such that a relative mobility of the seat part 3 to the frame 1 in the region of the bearings 15 in a plane which extends in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the chair, is possible (see. 4 and 5 such as FIGS. 12 and 13 ). As a result, the desired deformability of the seat shell 2 is not hindered by the bearings 15.
- This mobility of the bearing 15 can be achieved by each two bearing parts slidably rest on each other and thereby form a corresponding slide bearing. In this case, a bearing part connected to the frame 1 or formed by this and the other bearing part connected to the seat part 3 of the seat shell 2 or be formed by this.
- bearings 15 are also each intended to support a load in the vertical direction, ie from bottom to top, it may be provided that one of the bearing parts of each bearing 15 forms a slot through which a guide pin of the other bearing part extends, wherein the edge of the slot at least one-sided, preferably engages on two sides in a groove formed by the guide pin in its jacket groove.
- the in the 6 and 7 as well as 10 to 13 illustrated chair differs from that in the Fig. 1 to 5
- the backrest support 12 of the frame 1 is structurally separated from the seat base 8 of the frame 1 and formed via a third pivot 16 about a third axis of rotation 17 extending in the transverse direction of the chair extends, rotatably connected to the seat base 8.
- the third axis of rotation 17 in this case runs in the vicinity of the first rotary joint 5.
- the third axis of rotation 17 intersects the first axis of rotation 9 extending in the vertical direction and formed by the first rotary joint 5.
- the backrest support 12 is L-shaped, wherein the free end of the one leg is connected via the second pivot 6 with the backrest 4 of the seat shell 2 and the free end of the other leg via the third pivot 16 with the seat base 8.
- the backrest support 12 may just as well also be arcuate.
- the first pivot 5 and the second pivot 6 are formed so that this rotation of the corresponding portion of the seat 2 relative to the corresponding portion of the frame 1 in each case also aligned about a transversely of the chair , Fourth axis of rotation 18 and fifth axis of rotation 19 allow.
- This rotation results in the second pivot 6 of its configuration as a ball joint.
- the first rotary joint 5 as a ball joint or otherwise with two about the respective axes of rotation 9, 18 movably interconnected hinge parts form.
