Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a picking sweeper with a dirt collecting container to which on the one hand a suction fan and on the other hand connected via a suction line a suction head with a suction shaft and a working surface in front of this extending flexible planar flow guide.
  • the present invention relates to a picking sweeper according to the preamble of claims 1 and 3.
  • Picking sweepers are known in various designs and configurations of the prior art. Namely, self-propelled picking sweepers and pickup sweeping machines pulled by a towing vehicle are known for cleaning traffic areas such as, in particular, roads and sidewalks, squares, runways and the associated apron and the like.
  • Suction heads of this type are known, for example from the DE 2918760 A1 , which discloses a generic receiving sweeper, and the GB 1046341 , of the GB 1530904 as well as the AU 462011 ,
  • suction heads with (front) Grobgutklappen are also known, which can be mechanically opened and closed again.
  • Such coarse material flaps can in particular be rigid, pivotable and / or liftable components (cf., eg, FIG DE 3437990 A1 ) as well as deformable, consisting of a flexible material components (see. ES 2369983 A1 ).
  • they do not constitute a planar flow guide element extending in the working direction in front of the suction shaft, in the sense that a fluidically optimized nozzle effect is achieved between it and the surface to be cleaned.
  • a double suction is known in which the first, in the working direction front suction mouth is connected via a suction line with a nozzle which is directed in the working direction immediately before the second suction mouth against the surface to be cleaned.
  • the nozzle is sealed from the second suction mouth by means of a rolling diaphragm which functions as a coarse slide and increases the gap width for the suction flow when the nozzle is raised.
  • the present invention seeks to provide a picking sweeper of the type described, which is characterized with a comparatively low power consumption of the suction fan with high reliability by a typical application conditions very good cleaning result.
  • "typical" operating conditions include those in which significant amounts of relatively bulky debris are to be included, such as more or less accumulated leaves in autumn.
  • the edge of the flow guide element facing away from the suction channel is at least substantially linearly displaceable by means of the adjustment device
  • the realization of the adjustment device is made possible for example by a hydraulic cylinder (or several hydraulic cylinders), without additional facial expressions such as a deflection gear or the like.
  • edge of the flow guide element facing away from the suction shaft is substantially parallel to the surface to be cleaned or slidably displaced comparatively small, allows the execution of the suction head - despite an adjustability of the gap width within a wide range - with a comparatively small height of the suction head, which is favorable for the possibility to lift the suction head in a transport position so far from the surface to be cleaned, that no risk of Damage to the suction head in the raised transport position due to obstacles.
  • a comparatively short embodiment of the suction head in the working direction can be realized, in particular, when the planar flow guide element is guided away from the suction shaft via a deflection roller. Because in this case does not need to be held at the front of the suction head space for the stretched geometry of the flow guide, which does not need it in the strongly curved geometry of the flow. However, such a deflection of the flow-guiding element is typically accompanied by an increased overall height of the suction head, which may prove less favorable in individual cases. And the planar flow guide is - by comparatively low inherent rigidity - adapt to the deflection.
  • a further possibility of constructive implementation of the present invention consists, as stated in claim 3, in that the flow guide element can be wound away from the suction shaft onto a winding roller.
  • the advantage of the comparatively small dimensions of the suction head in the working direction also applies to this development.
  • the position of the edge of the flow-guiding element adjacent to the suction duct is preferably relative fixed to the suction shaft. With regard to a fluidic and energetic optimization, the position is particularly preferably chosen such that the flow guide element directly adjoins the suction shaft. Ideally, the edge region of the flow guide element immediately adjacent to the suction chute is fixed and geometrically fixed in such a way that a continuous transition from the flow guide element to the suction chute is ensured, regardless of the set gap width.
  • the flow guide can be designed in particular as an elastically deformable flow baffle.
  • the planar flow guide can be preformed in its maximum stretched, in its maximum arched or any intermediate position, ie at the geometry is free of internal tension.
  • the flow guide element consists of a plurality of hingedly interconnected slats. In this case, typically no stresses build up in the case of a change in the geometry of the flow guide element in it.
  • Such a design of the flow guide proves to be advantageous in particular when it is deflected over a guide roller or wound onto a winding roller (see above).
  • the respective geometry of the flow-guiding element can thereby be free, ie set according to a chain line, if the flow-guiding element "sags" at least in regions freely downwards in the direction of the surface to be cleaned.
  • the latter is by no means compulsory.
  • a kind of tension roller - or a plurality of tension rollers comprehensive tension roller unit - may be provided which defines the apex of the flow, wherein such a tension roller may be biased in particular spring loaded.
  • An advantageous aspect of the embodiment of the suction head with (at least) one tensioning roller is the possibility of being able to further influence the geometry of the flow guidance element. Especially with regard to an optimal nozzle effect.
  • suction head 1 comprises, based on the prior art, a housing 2 in which a - obliquely backwards, against the working direction A inclined - suction shaft 3 is formed, to which a Suction head 1 with the dirt collector of the sweeper connecting suction hose can be connected.
  • the suction shaft 3 defines a transition from an at least substantially cylindrical cross section in the connection region 4 for the suction hose to a cross section with a substantially straight front boundary extending transversely to the working direction A.
  • part of the housing 2 are two lateral cheek plates 10, on which possibly (not shown) support skids or other support means (eg support wheels) may be attached.
  • a support structure 5 for a (further) support device 6 (such as, for example, the indicated support runner 7) is arranged on the housing 2.
  • two pairs of tabs 11 are provided, to which a (not shown) lifting device can be connected, by means of which the suction head 1 can be raised to a transport position.
  • the support unit comprising the individual support means defines when lowered onto the surface 8 to be cleaned suction head 1, in particular when the lifting device is switched to a "floating position", the position of the housing 2 above the surface 8.
  • a (replaceable) substantially V-shaped wear plate 9 is attached to the underside of the housing 2. On its upper side are on the housing 2 continue two stop buffer 12th attached, which are used in the raised transport position.
  • a flexible planar flow guide 13 extends, which is designed as an elastically deformable flow guide plate 14 consisting of an elastomer material.
  • the flow guide plate 14 is fixed to the casing 2 at its edge adjacent to the suction chute 3 relative to the suction chute 3, not only with respect to the position of the edge, but also with respect to the orientation, i.
  • the edge portion 15 of the flow guide plate 14 adjacent to the suction chute 3 is fixed to a flat housing portion 18 offset from the front boundary 16 of the suction chute 3 by a jump 17 whose inclination substantially corresponds to the inclination of the suction chute 3 , so that the inner, the surface to be cleaned 8 facing surface 19 of the flow guide 14 as steady as possible, ie without appreciable misalignment, gap or crease passes into the suction shaft.
  • the front in the direction of A front edge of the flow baffle 14 is made of his in Fig. 1 illustrated retracted position along the substantially horizontal, ie in the direction of A only slightly inclined direction B movable forward.
  • the front edge region 20 of Flow guide plate 14 is fixed by means of the clamping screws 21 and the terminal block 22 to a fastening strip 23, which in turn is welded to four pipe sections 24, 25.
  • the four pipe sections 24, 25 are rotatably received on a shaft 26 which is supported by two guide rods 27, which in turn are guided in each case in two guide blocks 28 slidably.
  • the guide blocks 28 are in turn attached to stiffening ribs 29 of the housing 2.
  • the linear guides 30 formed thereby are to protect them from contamination of a panel 31 - this is shown only in the right linear guide - surrounded.
  • Centered on the shaft 26 engages an executed as a hydraulic cylinder 32 adjusting 33.
  • a head piece 35 is attached to the end of the piston rod 34 of the hydraulic cylinder 32, which in turn is connected to the shaft 26.
  • the hydraulic cylinder 32 is fixed to the housing 2 of the suction head 1.
  • Relevant that regardless of the respective set shape or geometry of the flow guide plate 14 whose rear edge region 15 passes into the suction shaft 3 due to its above-explained clamping without significant offset, gap or crease. This is important for a good cleaning result with low power consumption of the suction fan and low noise emissions.
  • the front edge region 20 of the flow guide plate 14 can, however, freely change its inclination, depending on the position of the shaft 26, ie, adapt the geometry of the flow guide plate 14.
  • FIG. 4 there is a preferred modification of the in the FIGS. 1 to 3 illustrated embodiment of a suction head of a sweeping machine according to the invention in that the planar flow guide 13 is front, that is guided away from the suction shaft 3 via a guide roller 38.
  • the fluidically effective extension of the flow guide 13 extends from the guide roller 38 to the suction section adjacent edge portion 15.
  • the adjustment may in turn comprise, for example, a hydraulic cylinder which engages the guided around the guide roller 38 end of the planar flow guide 13.
  • This construction offers itself in the execution of the flow guide 13 with a comparatively low rigidity, for example, when flow guide consists of a plurality of hingedly interconnected slats. implied is in Fig.
  • FIG. 5 schematically shown further modification in which the flow guide 13 is remote from the suction shaft 3 on a winding roller 39 wound.
  • the adjustment causes in this modification, a rotation of the winding roller 39.
  • the geometry of the Strömungsleitelements 13 is accordingly between a relatively curved shape with a relatively small minimum distance to be cleaned surface 8 and a relatively elongated shape with a relatively large minimum distance to the surface to be cleaned variable.
  • the flow-effective extension of the planar flow-guiding element 13 extends here from the winding roller 39 to the edge section 15 adjacent to the suction shaft.
