Definitions

  • the invention relates to a single-walled spray gun cup having a paint receiving area substantially accessible through two main openings and having at least one additional access to the paint receiving area, the additional access being recloseable by means of a sealing means and disposed in the bottom of the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • a sealing means is from the US 3524589 known.
  • Spray gun cups are used in painting and serve to store a paint, so that during a painting enough paint on a spray gun is available.
  • the prior art discloses a multiplicity of spray gun cups which, inter alia, have partly different shapes but also different connection techniques in order to meet the most diverse requirements in the field of painting.
  • spray gun cups which, inter alia, have partly different shapes but also different connection techniques in order to meet the most diverse requirements in the field of painting.
  • gravity cups in which a stored paint agent flows into the spray gun substantially due to gravity.
  • suction cups in which by selected pressure conditions between the spray gun cup and spray gun a paint also passes from the spray gun cup in the spray gun when the spray gun is held above the spray gun cup. Accordingly, such suction cups are usually arranged below the spray gun.
  • the known connections of the spray gun cups usually have a thread which communicates with a corresponding thread of a spray gun, so that a firm but detachable connection between the spray gun cup and the spray gun is made.
  • spray gun cups already exist which have a very coarse thread at their connections, so that a spray gun cup can be attached to the spray gun with less than one revolution about its longitudinal axis.
  • this screwing is still expensive, since in this case the threads must be threaded.
  • the object of the invention is achieved by a single-walled spray gun cup with a Lackierffenability Scheme which is accessible through two main openings substantially, and with at least one additional access to the Lackierstoffability Scheme, the additional access is recloseable by means of a closure means and disposed in a bottom of the single-walled spray gun cup and on the outside of the bottom there is arranged a stopper with which the resealable passage can be closed, and with the stopper inserted, the reclosable passage is closed in such a way that the inside of the bottom forms a substantially planar surface.
  • additional access in the context of the invention describes any secondary openings of a spray gun cup, which connect the Lackierffenability Silver the spray gun cup with the environment of the spray gun cup in addition to the two main openings.
  • the additional access is therefore another opening of the spray gun cup.
  • additional access means any secondary openings on a spray gun cup, in particular a single-walled spray gun cup, which provide either an air supply to the Lackierstoffability Scheme and / or a refill of the Lackierstoffaid Students St for a paint.
  • the Lackierstoffability Symposium here describes the Spritzpistolenbecherinnere in which a Lackierstoff is stored.
  • main opening of a coating agent receiving area describes, on the one hand, a connection opening via which a coating agent passes from the coating agent receiving area to a spray gun.
  • main opening describes a spray gun cup opening, which is usually located opposite this connection opening, about which, for example, a paint is filled in the spray gun cup or the Lackierstoffsuit Kunststoff the spray gun cup is cleaned.
  • the additional access is structurally realized, for example, particularly simply by means of a material recess in a component delimiting the coating material receiving area.
  • bottom here describes a state in which the air supply is located on the side facing the ground spray gun cup side.
  • even mixing a two-component paint can be done easily in a spray gun cup.
  • the use of the spray gun cup as a storage container for a paint or for Lackierstoffnreste is advantageously possible, since the additional supply in the present case is permanently closed securely.
  • the particularly reliable closing of the single-walled spray gun cup takes place in the present case in that a closure means is arranged at least partially in the additional access of the coating agent receiving area.
  • closure means is at least partially arranged in the additional access, thus protruding into the additional access, for the first time effectively prevents larger quantities of a coating agent, which has previously come into contact with the closure means, from coming out of the coating agent receiving area when the closure means is removed from the additional access.
  • the additional access is structurally particularly safe and easy to close if the access has a channel.
  • the present spray gun cup is also used as a mixing container, in which, for example, a two-component paint is mixed, can be dispensed with that the channel protrudes into the Lackierstoffability Scheme so as not to adversely affect a mixing device.
  • the additional access may be provided by almost any opening of the single-walled spray gun cup connecting the paint receiving area to the exterior of the single-walled spray gun cup. It has been found that, in particular, a cylindrical or a conically extending channel cross-section represents a particularly easy-to-close additional access. As a result, the channel forms a kind of tube in which the closure means is introduced. Thus, the additional access is closed very safe.
  • the sealing plug closes the additional access, the sealing plug is arranged in the channel such that it projects at least partially into the channel. Thus, the additional access is closed very safe.
  • the additional access may include a collar disposed on the outside of the floor. This makes it possible to guide the closure means on the collar.
  • a variant embodiment provides that the closure means has an outer diameter which substantially corresponds to an inner diameter of the channel.
  • closure means has a slightly larger outer diameter than the inner diameter of the channel.
  • closure means is made of a material which is different from a material from which the access is made.
  • a further embodiment provides that the additional access terminates with an outer boundary of the single-walled spray gun cup or lies behind the outer boundary.
  • Such an additional access which terminates with the outer boundary or behind the outer boundary of the spray gun cup, makes it possible for the single-walled spray gun cup to have no undesired protrusion on its surface or protruding components. This is particularly advantageous in areas of the single-walled spray gun cup, which form a footprint with which the single-walled gasoline gun cup is placed on a base, for example during work preparation for mixing or during a painting process for refilling a paint.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup has on a first side a connection for arranging the single-walled spray gun cup on a spray gun, and the additional access is arranged on a side facing away from the connection of the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • Arranging the additional access at the side facing away from the connection is advantageous, since the additional access in the use of the single-walled spray gun cup in the sense of a flow cup serves outstandingly as an air supply to the coating agent receiving area of the single-walled spray gun cup. It will be understood that regardless of this, the additional access may be provided at almost any location of the single-ended spray gun cup, depending on the type of execution of the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • the present single-walled spray gun cup can be closed particularly securely by means of the closure means arranged at least partially in the additional access, as already explained above, the present single-walled spray gun cup is also particularly well suited for use as a storage container for a coating agent.
  • the channel preferably has a length which is greater than the wall thickness of a spray gun cup wall.
  • openings of a conventional single-walled spray gun cup are closed only with a lid or a cap, to which or to which a relatively large amount of a paint can adhere.
  • This amount of paint passes so far when opening a conventional closure in the vicinity of the spray gun cup, so that the risk is relatively large that the environment is contaminated with this amount of paint accidentally. As a result, painting can be adversely affected.
  • closure means closes the additional access not only from the outside, but is arranged on the one hand directly in the additional access, whereby a particularly secure closing of the additional access is ensured.
  • closure means which is located directly within the access, only with its "small" face with the paint in contact.
  • small here describes an end face of the closure means, which has a diameter which substantially corresponds to the inner diameter of the additional access. This is not the case with conventional closures, as they do not close access of a secondary opening within the access or are not located within the access but only cover an access opening.
  • a further simplification in terms of a quick color change is when the single-walled spray gun cup has at least one lid, preferably two lids, for closing the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup has on the one hand a first upper lid which is attached to a side of the single-walled spray gun cup which faces away from the spray gun.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup has a further lower lid which is arranged on a side of the single-walled spray gun cup facing the spray gun.
  • the first upper lid and by the other lower lid of the single-walled spray gun cup can be completely closed, so that it can be advantageously used as a storage container for a Lackierstoff when needed. It is thereby possible that a plurality of single-walled spray gun cups filled with different coating agents are provided before or during a painting operation, so that a color change on the spray gun can be made particularly quickly hereby.
  • At least one of the lids has the additional access or a similarly closable passage.
  • a reclosable passage is provided on the first upper lid. This closable passage, for example, initially closed when the single-walled spray gun cup is provided with a filled therein paint. If the single-walled spray gun cup and the paint agent filled therein are required for the painting process, the further lower lid is first removed from the single-walled spray gun cup, so that the single-walled spray gun cup can be arranged with this opening on a spray gun.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup may have a latching connection which additionally allows easy to attach the single-walled spray gun cup and in a short time to a corresponding receptacle.
  • the resealable passage is opened at the first upper lid, so that it comes in the interior of the single-walled spray gun cup during removal of the paint to a pressure equalization by subsequent flow of air.
  • lid essentially describes a structure with which the single-walled spray gun cup is closed in such a way that a coating agent located in the single-walled spray gun cup does not escape from it unintentionally.
  • Both the first upper lid and the further lower lid of the single-walled spray gun cup thus constitute a closure for the single-walled spray gun cup with which it can be completely closed.
  • the two lids are fastened by different techniques to the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • the lid can be screwed.
  • the lids are simply clipped onto an edge of the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • An embodiment variant provides that at least one cover is molded onto the single-walled spray gun cup. As a result, a possibility is created, the lid always attached to a single-walled spray gun cup, so that the risk of accidental misplacement of a lid is excluded.
  • lid in addition to the molded lid, other connection options between the lid and single-walled spray gun cup can exist. For example, a lid is glued over a correspondingly long tab on the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • reclosable passage may be provided by a simple hole in the form of a cutout in the lid. Ideally, this hole is already provided during the actual injection process of the lid.
  • a collar gives the lid improved stability, allowing the lid to sit more easily on the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • the additional access has a tapered channel or reclosable passage of a cover has a tapered collar.
  • the reclosable passage moves a taper, so that the risk of unintentional leakage of a paint is further reduced.
  • additional access and "reclosable passage” are used synonymously in the context of the invention.
  • the secondary opening is preferably designated by the term "additional access”.
  • the secondary opening is in a lid of the spray gun cup, is preferably referred to as a "resealable passage”.
  • a preferred embodiment in this context provides that the resealable passage tapers in the direction from a passage opening facing the cover to a passage opening facing away from the cover.
  • a preferred embodiment provides that at least one lid has a depression and in the sink a resealable passage is arranged.
  • the sink allows a closure to be pre-centered upon closure of the reclosable passage. As a result, for example, a particularly narrow region of a plug can be introduced much easier into the reclosable passage.
  • an inner diameter of a passage opening facing away from the cover is less than 80% or less than 50%, preferably less than 30%, of the inner diameter of a passage opening facing the cover.
  • an inner diameter of the closable passage is less than 80% or less than 50%, preferably less than 30%, of the inner diameter of the sink.
  • the plug can be arranged both in the sink and in the closable passage.
  • the plug has different diameters.
  • the different diameters of the plug correspond to those inner diameters of the sink and the reclosable passage, respectively, so that the plug can be easily inserted into the reclosable passage.
  • the lid has a nipple on which a plug for closing the passage can be arranged.
  • the plug may be molded onto the lid.
  • the lid of the single-walled spray gun cup and the plug of the lid can be made particularly inexpensive.
  • At least one cover is molded onto the single-walled spray gun cup. Also at risk of losing a spray gun cup lid To reduce, it is advantageous if the lid is arranged from the outset on the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • a color change on a spray gun is also greatly simplified and thus accelerated when a connection of the single-walled spray gun cup to a recording of a spray gun is latched fastened.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup can be attached to a spray gun, so that a change of the single-walled spray gun cup can be made particularly quickly and conveniently.
  • a color change during a painting process can be made very quickly, so that different colors can be brought very quickly one behind the other onto a surface.
  • a latching connection is also advantageous when the single-walled spray gun cup is designed as a disposable product, since less stringent manufacturing requirements must be placed on a latching connection than is the case, for example, with a threaded connection.
  • the production costs for a single-walled spray gun cup with a latching connection are lower than with an elaborately manufactured connection.
  • Such a locking connection is structurally particularly easy realized when the terminal has a spring and / or a groove.
  • a “spring” a structure which partially with a proper attachment of the single-walled spray gun cup to a receptacle or completely engages in a designated device.
  • a spring can be realized for example by one or more "noses” or “rings”.
  • the spring can form a physical unit with the connection or can be realized by an additional component which is arranged on the connection.
  • an additional component which may form a spring in the context of the invention, a simple O-ring, which is releasably but firmly arranged on the latching connection of the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • the latching connection of the single-walled spray gun cup may also have a groove into which a component fully or partially engages when the single-walled spray gun cup is properly attached to a receptacle.
  • the spring and groove described above need not necessarily be circumferentially mounted on the latching terminal, but may be provided only partially at the terminal.
  • a circumferential spring and / or groove are advantageous because this allows the single-walled spray gun cup can be mounted in almost any position to a corresponding receptacle.
  • receptacle designates in particular an area of a spray gun or of another component, such as an adapter, on which the single-walled spray gun cup is arranged when used properly.
  • connection of the single-walled spray gun cup is at least partially encircled by a web.
  • a firm connection can be made particularly well in the present case by a notch of the web. It does not matter whether the connection, as usual in the market, with a thread, whether an external thread or an internal thread, is provided or not.
  • a further embodiment provides that the web completely umkragt the connection in order to produce a particularly good connection between the single-walled spray gun cup and the spray gun after the connection of the connection.
  • the web is annular, preferably concentric, arranged around the connection.
  • the web is made of an elastic material, so that the web over other components has a certain flexibility and thereby the spray gun cup can be particularly easily attached to a spray gun recording.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup has a different wall thickness along its longitudinal axis.
  • An advantageous embodiment variant provides that the single-walled spray gun cup on its side facing the spray gun has a greater wall thickness than on its side facing away from the spray gun.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup it has been found that it is advantageous for the single-walled spray gun cup to have a wall thickness of less than 3 mm or less than 1.5 mm, preferably less than 0.5 mm, in the region of its smallest material thickness.

  • the single-walled spray gun cup has an adapter which can be arranged on the single-walled spray gun cup latching.
  • the adapter has on a first side a receptacle for the connection of the single-walled spray gun cup according to the invention and on a side opposite this first side a connection which communicates with the connection of the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup can be arranged quickly and conveniently on a spray gun even if the intake of the spray gun is not optimally arranged with respect to the connection of the single-walled spray gun cup.
  • a single-walled spray gun cup arranged by means of the articulated adapter on a spray gun can be aligned much better during painting work, so that in this case the risk is reduced that a coating agent accidentally gets out of the closable passage of the lid.
  • the single-walled spray gun cup can be aligned much more flexible with respect to the spray gun by means of the articulated adapter, so that a connection between the two components can be made faster.
  • a structurally particularly simple embodiment variant advantageously provides that an additional paint line, preferably a flexible hose, is arranged between the first receiving area and the further receiving area. Due to the additional paint line need not be particularly high demands on the production of the articulated interface between the two receiving areas, since the paint passes from the spray gun cup at least in the region of the rotary joint on the additional Lackierstofftechnisch to the spray gun.
  • the additional Lackierstoff is located in the region of the rotary joint outside the adapter.
  • the additional paint line is arranged in the region of the rotary joint substantially within the adapter.
