Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing cigarette packs, wherein the pack is formed from at least two separate blanks, which are introduced together into a pocket of a folding turret at least partially folding the blanks, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention in the Manufacture of packs of the type folding box with a box part, a pivotally arranged thereon cover and arranged in the box part collar to use, with a pack blank for the box part and the lid and a separate collar blank for the collar together in a pocket of a folding turret be introduced under at least partial folding of the package blank and the collar blank.
  • the object of the invention is to further develop methods for producing packs from at least two separate blanks, in particular with regard to the most exact possible manufacture of the packs.
  • An inventive method comprises the measures of claim 1. It is therefore provided that the blanks are fixed to each other before insertion into the pocket of the folding turret.
  • One advantage of the solution according to the invention is the fact that the blanks fixed to one another can no longer lose their alignment with one another. In this way it is ensured that the blanks are not shifted against each other when feeding into the folding turret or when folding.
  • the method according to the invention is preferably used in the production of packs of the folding box type, wherein the folding boxes have a box part, with a lid pivotably arranged thereon and a collar arranged in the box part.
  • a package blank for the box part and the lid and a separate collar blank for the collar is inserted together in a pocket of a folding turret under at least partial folding of the package blank and the collar blank, the collar blank according to the invention before the Insertion into the pocket of the folding turret is fixed to the package blank. In this way, the two blanks can no longer move to each other after they were fixed in exact position to each other.
  • the collar blank is glued to the package blank. In this way, a sufficiently stable and durable connection of the blanks can be ensured.
  • the collar blank is only partially fixed to the package blank, namely at least in the region of a wall of the package blank, the Insertion into the pocket of the folding turret is detected by an insertion member, in particular a stamp plate arranged on the circumference of the folding turret. It has been recognized that a simultaneous, permanent fixation of other or all walls of the blanks obstructs the folding process.
  • the collar blank is fixed to the package blank with at least two different adhesives, namely a fast-setting and permanently tacky adhesive, in particular a permanently tacky hot-melt glue, and a slow-setting adhesive, in particular a dispersion cold glue, which is durable sticky adhesive is already set when the blanks are inserted into the pocket of the folding turret and the slower setting adhesive sets only when the package is substantially completely folded.
  • both adhesives are applied before the blanks are introduced together into the pocket of the folding turret.
  • the permanently tacky adhesive fixes the blanks in the region of the wall of the package blank, which is detected during insertion into the pocket of the folding turret and that the slower-setting adhesive for subsequent connection of the blanks in the area from other walls.
  • Another feature which may also be a separate invention, is that in the area of the blank path for pack blanks, a device is provided for erecting tabs on the pack blank, wherein two erecting members of the device above or below the blank web are arranged and a first erecting member straightens the tabs and a second erecting member folds over the tabs, in particular in the transport direction of the pack blanks.
  • the collar blanks can be fed to the package blanks by means of a collar feeding device, which is arranged upstream of the folding turret.
  • the collar feed device should be preceded by a gluing unit for the positionally accurate application of glue on collar blanks or on a material web for the production of collar blanks wherein the glued collar blanks are fed to the package blanks by means of the collar feed device, in particular such that the glued collar Blanks are transported with outwardly facing gluing on the circumference of a negative pressure conveyor and fed to the package blanks.
  • Another feature which may also be a separate invention, relates to an alignment member.
