Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for accepting and dispensing banknotes.
  • Devices for accepting and dispensing banknotes are known.
  • the known devices are based on the recognition that a compartment which is used for the input of accepted banknotes, is also used for the return of banknotes that could not be accepted, for. B. because they could not be recognized or because of disturbances in the processing occurred.
  • the compartment can be used for the disbursement of banknotes.
  • the compartment used for the return and return of banknotes is divided by a separating element into two areas and essentially the one described above EP 0 714 078 B1 equivalent.
  • the separating element can be moved in two directions.
  • the separating element is composed of a rake and can be separated into two sub-elements, each of which completely covers the cross-section of the compartment.
  • One of the sub-elements is used as a support for returned banknotes, whereas the other sub-element can be pressed against the banknotes to be separated in order to ensure secure separation.
  • the EP 1004 098 B1 thus has the problem of increased space requirements.
  • the apparatuses include a partition member which divides a tray into an input area and a banknote output and return area.
  • the separator remains in the two known devices within the compartment, which is why problems arise in the event of a demolition, similar to those for the US 4,883,183 are described problems.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a device for accepting and dispensing banknotes, which has a compartment for the input and output or return of banknotes, and a flexible and for an operator comfortable operation in the acceptance and Issue or return of banknotes allows, the device should be simple and compact.
  • the invention relates to a device for the reception and return of banknotes, with a compartment which can be divided into two areas for the input and output or return of banknotes by means of a separating element, wherein the separating element for forming the two - Areas in the compartment is movable within the compartment, with a clamping and transport element which is movable independently of the separating element within the compartment for clamping compartmentalized banknotes within the compartment and for transporting them into or out of the compartment (3), wherein the clamping and transport element for clamping banknotes in a first direction within the compartment is moved onto banknotes in the compartment and banknotes to be issued or returned at least for the most part out of the region of the separating element the tray (3) transported out, and that the separating element is subsequently moved in a direction opposite to the first direction of the second direction from the area in the tray banknotes within the compartment on the clamping and transport element.
  • the advantage of the invention is particularly seen in the fact that a flexible and compact construction of the device for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes is made possible by the fact that both separating element and clamping and transport element are within the compartment and only within the Subjects are moved to divide the subject in the required for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes two areas.
  • both separating element and clamping and transport element are within the compartment and only within the Subjects are moved to divide the subject in the required for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes two areas.
  • both separating element and clamping and transport element are within the compartment and only within the Subjects are moved to divide the subject in the required for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes two areas.
  • the separator can then be returned to its original position without problems within the compartment.
  • only movements of the separating element and also of the clamping and transport element within the compartment are required, which is why the device for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes can be made particularly compact.
  • FIG. 1 1 shows an embodiment of a device 1 for accepting and dispensing banknotes, with a compartment for accepting and dispensing banknotes, which is closed by a screen or visor 2.
  • FIG. 2 shows the in FIG. 1 illustrated embodiment of the device 1 for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes after the panel 2 has been opened for the input of banknotes and the view of the compartment 3 for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes. Furthermore, when the panel 2 is open, components 4, 4 'of a singler are visible for the singling of banknotes.
  • the components 4, 4 'of the separator relate to feed rollers 4, which each transport the lowest of the inserted into the tray 3 notes during singulation to a separating roller 4' also shown out.
  • a clamping and transport element 5 is shown, the function of which will be described in more detail below.
  • FIGS. 3 to 12 the aperture 2 and the aperture 2 receiving parts of the device 1 for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes not shown.
  • FIG. 3 shows the device 1 for the acceptance and issue or return of banknotes, after the panel 2 for the input of banknotes was opened.
  • a separating element 7 which has a recess in the illustrated embodiment, in which engages another clamping and transport element 6, visible.
  • the separating element 7 and the further clamping and transport element 6 are in their starting position. It can also be provided that the separating element 7 has no recess.
  • the clamping and transport elements 5, 6 reach from the perspective of the input opening of the compartment 3 at most up to the front edge of the separating element 7 zoom.
  • the dimensioning of a distance between the separating element 7 and the clamping and transporting elements 5, 6 essentially depends on a quantity of maximum banknotes to be dispensed or returned, ie the thickness of the stack formed by these banknotes.
