Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for handling bank notes, which comprises a cassette holder for receiving cash cassettes and a head module.
  • a stacking unit for stacking the withdrawn from the money cassettes banknotes to a value bundle, an input and / or output tray for entering and / or output of notes and a reject and Retract disposer for receiving sorted and not removed notes of value is provided.
  • the banknotes withdrawn banknotes are first cached in a cache until such time as all the banknotes intended for payment have been removed from the cash boxes.
  • the latches are often in the form of reel memories. The caching takes place so that in the event that the withdrawal of the notes multiple deductions occur or the withdrawn notes of value can not be disbursed for another reason and must be sorted out (so-called rejects), so that it does not come to disbursement of a faulty amount of money. Should a reject case occur, the notes of value cached in the buffer are transported into a reject container and the collection of the notes of value of the note bundle to be dispensed is started again. Only when all banknotes are taken from the banknote storage container and fed to the temporary storage, they are again removed from the buffer and stacked in a stacking unit to be issued value bundle.
  • a first transport unit is provided for transporting notes of value between the cassette receiving area and the head module.
  • a first switch is arranged at the head module end of the first transport unit.
  • a second transport unit is arranged within the head module for the transport of notes of value, with the help of notes of value and value bundles between the Stacking unit, the input and / or output tray and the reject container are transportable.
  • the first switch is designed in such a way that, in a first switch position, a note of value taken from a cassette and transported via the first transport unit can be fed to the stacking unit.
  • the first switch leads the note of value of the second transport unit taken from a cash box directly to it.
  • the second transport unit is designed such that both value bundles and individual banknotes can be transported with their help.
  • the value bundle stacked over the stacking unit can be transported to the input and / or output compartment or possibly to the reject and retract container.
  • the second transport unit also makes it possible for the individual notes of value, which have already been sorted out of a cash box when being removed, to be fed directly to the reject and retract containers.
  • the stacking unit is designed in such a way that a bundle of value bundles stacked in it can be fed directly from the stacking unit to the second transport unit.
  • Direct feeding is understood in particular to mean that the bundle of value bundles does not have to be supplied from the second stacking unit via the first transport unit and then via the second transport unit, but is transferred from the stacking unit to the second transport unit without another transport unit.
  • the first transport unit can be particularly simple in construction, since with their help only individual banknotes must be transported.
  • the stacking unit comprises in particular a pivotable support element, which is adjustable between a feed position and a removal position.
  • the feed position is the position in which the support element is arranged when bank notes are fed to the stack unit and stacked to form the value bundle.

  • the reject and retract container comprises, in particular, a first compartment for receiving rejected receipts (so-called rejects) and a second compartment separate from the first compartment for receiving notes of value not withdrawn from the input and / or output compartment (so-called retracts).
  • rejects and retracts can be stored separately, which may be important in meeting legal standards for note tracking.
  • the reject and retract container is designed in particular in the form of a cash box, so that the rejects and retracts can be removed in a simple manner.
  • the second transport unit preferably comprises a second switch for feeding notes of value transported by means of the second transport unit to the reject and retract containers.
  • the second switch is arranged in particular such that with the help of the second transport unit along the Rejects- and Retract mattersers transported notes of value are not supplied to the reject and Retract anyer and thus transported in particular between the stacking unit and the input and / or output tray can.
  • the second switch is designed in such a way that notes of value transported along the reject and retract container with the aid of the second transport unit can be deflected out of the transport path and fed to the reject and retract container.
  • both sorted notes of value (rejects) and not withdrawn from the input and / or output tray (retracts) can be fed to the reject and retract containers with the aid of the second switch.
  • the second transport unit only a single turnout must be provided for deflecting both rejects and retracts.
  • a third switch is provided in particular within the reject and Retract mattersers, with the aid of which the banknotes supplied via the second switch can then be divided into the first and the second compartment.
  • the second switch can also be designed such that with their help only the money cassettes removed, sorted notes of value (rejects) can be fed to the first compartment.
  • the second transport unit comprises a fourth switch for feeding retracts (not taken from the input and / or output compartment) to the second compartment.

  • the support member 66 is pivoted upwards.
  • the notes of value of the value bundle 68 in the direction of the double belt assembly 100 and thus also in the direction of the input and / or output tray 28 moves by the slide plate 120 against the seen in the transport direction rear edges of the notes of value bundle 68 suppressed.
  • the value bundle 68 is received between the belts 102, 104 of the double belt assembly 100.
  • the value bundle 68 is thus moved in the direction of the input and / or output unit 28.
  • the sliding plate 120 is behind the banknote bundle 68 ago in the direction of the input and / or output unit 28 moves. It is thereby achieved that the carrying out of notes of value of the value bundle 68 to the rear, ie that these notes are moved slower in the transport direction than the other banknotes of the value bundle 68, is avoided by the slide plate 120, so that these at least not completely from the Wertscheinbündel 68 can fall out and thus a loss of the notes of value is avoided.
  • the slide plate 120 can either be moved directly behind the bundle 68, ie the plate 120 presses against the rear edges of the notes of the value bundle 68 during the entire time, or else be moved at a predetermined distance behind the bundle 68 value.
  • the distance is dimensioned so small that it is shorter than the width of the narrowest notes of value, so that a dropping out of these notes of value from the value bundle 68 is safely avoided.
  • the sliding unit 120 is moved in particular behind the value bundle 68, so that access to the transport path through the sliding plate 120 is avoided.
  • This introduces manipulation modules prevented. It is a widespread manipulation attempt that fork clamps are introduced in order to hold over this notes of value and thus unauthorized to obtain these notes.
  • the slide plate 120 may also be used independently of the transport and presentation of this bill bundle 68 to check whether a fork clamp or similar module has been inserted into the input and / or output bin 28.

If this is easily possible, it is assumed that no fork clamp was inserted into the input and / or output tray 28, otherwise the movement of the slide plate 120 would have to be hindered by this. Thus, at any time the proper condition of the device 10 can be checked.
  • the second transport unit 24 described above can also generally be used independently of the other aspects of the head module 12, in particular the switch arrangement described.

  • the double belt arrangement 100 comprises two mutually parallel first belt 102 and two likewise mutually parallel second belt 104. This ensures that the banknotes of the value bundle 68 are guided in two places, so that a secure transport of the value bundle 68 is possible.
  • the sliding plate 120 is movably mounted at its end regions 132, 134 on two rails 136, 138.
  • the rails 136, 138 serve simultaneously as a lateral housing of the second transport unit 24 and serve in particular for the protection of the value bundle 68 to be transported against unauthorized access.
  • the sliding unit 120 is fixed to a toothed belt 122 which can be driven independently of the belts 102, 104, the double belt assembly 100, so that the sliding unit 120 correspondingly can be moved separately from the double belt assembly 100.
  • the slide plate 120 includes a plurality of fingers, one of which is designated by the reference numeral 130 by way of example. • the fingers 130 are designed so long that all banknotes of a security bundle 68 can be contacted with the maximum permissible number of banknotes to be transported via them.
  • the fingers 130 protrude into the spaces formed between the parallel belts 102, 104 and the rails 136, 138 so that there is no coalition of the slide plate 120 with other components during movement of the slide plate 120.
  • the slide plate 120 is disposed on the input and / or output tray 28 remote from the end of the second transport unit 24.
  • the slide plate 120 is arranged in particular in this position, while the notes of value are stacked in the stacking unit 26 to the value bundle 68.
  • the support element 66 is pivoted in the direction of the first belt 102, so that by means of the sliding unit 120, the notes of value from the stacking unit 26 out in the direction of the second belt 104th be transported and thus the value bundle 68 by moving the sliding plate 120 of the in FIG. 8 shown position in the FIG. 9 shown position between the first belt 102 and the second belt 104 of the double belt assembly 100 is pressed.
  • the value bundle 68 is transported by the double belt arrangement 100 as well as the sliding plate 120 further in the direction of the input and / or output compartment 28.
  • the slide plate 120 is further moved behind the value bundle 68 ago in the direction of the input and / or output tray 28 until it in the input and / or output tray 28 in the in FIG. 10 shown position is arranged.
  • the sliding plate 120 is in particular moved at a slightly greater speed in the direction of the input and / or output tray 28 than the belts 102, 104 of the double belt assembly 100. This ensures that the sliding plate always presses against the banknotes of the value bundle 68 and thus a Fan-out of the value bundle 68 to be transported is reliably avoided.
  • a value bundle 68 presented for removal via the input and / or output compartment 28 is not removed, it is, as already described above, moved back into the reject and retract container 30.
  • the slide plate 120 is now at a slightly lower speed As the belts 102, 104 of the double belt assembly 100 moves, so again it is ensured that the edges of the notes of value of the bundle of values on the sliding plate 120 abut and thus a fanning is also effectively avoided.
  • the slide plate 120 can also be independent of the transport of a value bundle in the in FIG. 10 shown position, that is, in the input and / or output tray 28, are moved to check whether a manipulation unit, in particular a clamp, in the input and / or output tray 28 has been introduced.
