Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for deflecting flat, rectangular sheet material, in particular of sheet-shaped documents of value such.
  • B. banknotes from a first Blattguttransportrange with a first transport direction to a Blattguttransportrange with a different transport direction to the first transport direction, in particular for changing the transport direction by 90 ° or 180 °.
  • the invention further relates to a device for processing sheet-shaped value documents, in particular banknotes, with such a deflection device between a first and a further transport path with different transport directions.
  • Deflection devices in which sheet material z. B. are deflected by 90 ° or 180 ° are used for example in banknote processing devices.
  • conventional deflection devices are either not suitable for redirecting an uninterrupted flow of banknotes at high throughput speeds, or are at least comparatively expensive in terms of space requirements and / or their structural design.
  • a multi-module banknote processing device is known, in which the deflection device according to the invention described below is advantageously used.
  • This banknote processing device is configured as a tabletop device and serves to separate the banknotes of a banknote stack inserted by an operator into an input compartment, to check the individual banknotes for characteristic features by means of suitable measuring and analyzing devices, to sort the checked banknotes according to the respective check result and / or after sorting result in a predetermined output tray by means of a Spiralfachstaplers stack.
  • the output compartments are partially juxtaposed and partly arranged one above the other in such a way that all output compartments get as good as possible from the Operator are reachable.
  • the banknotes are basically transported transversely within the modules.
  • a disadvantage of this banknote processing device is that a very voluminous, formed of guide plates and twisted conveyor belts transport path is provided to rotate the banknotes so that they can be transported laterally to the adjacent modules in transverse orientation.
  • the banknotes are first rotated by 90 ° about their transport axis by means of the twisted conveyor belts, then the banknotes are deflected by an axis lying transversely to the transport direction by 90 ° and transferred in this orientation into the adjacent module. There, the banknotes are returned to their original orientation by first being deflected again by 90 ° and then again rotated by 90 ° about the transport axis by means of the twisted conveyor belts.
  • This method of transferring the banknotes from one module to an adjacent module while maintaining the sheet orientation relative to the transport direction is very expensive in terms of space and structural design, but at least it allows to redirect uninterrupted banknote stream at a high throughput speed.
  • DE 19632224 A1 also describes a device for deflecting sheet material. Therein it is proposed to dispense with deflection rollers in the deflection region and instead to extend transport belts of the feeding and discharging transport sections each over the deflection zone such that the banknote is withdrawn from the deflection zone by means of the transport belt of the discharging transport route.
  • the conveyor belt of the laxative transport path is always pressed against the take-off plane of the deflection, when the print plane has been fed a bill.
  • a particular embodiment provides that the consecutive banknotes are alternately forwarded to a first or a second withdrawal plane by means of a switch, so that the next succeeding sheet is already fed to the second removal plane even before the previous sheet has been completely deducted from the first level of withdrawal and forwarded. Accordingly, two trigger systems are required, one for each trigger level. To be sure, it is possible in this way to redirect an uninterrupted flow of banknotes at a high throughput speed. However, the provision of multiple exhaust systems requires a high design effort.
  • Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device for deflecting sheet material, such as.
