Claims (25)

  1. Device for handling valuable documents,
    having a box receiving region (14) for receiving cash boxes (18),
    a first transporting unit (22) for transporting valuable documents between a header module (12) of the device and the cash boxes (18) that are receivable in the box receiving region (24),
    a first diverter (50) arranged at the header-module-side end of the first transporting unit (22),
    a stacking unit (26) for stacking the valuable documents removed from the cash boxes (18) into a valuable-document bundle (68) to be dispensed,
    a depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) for dispensing and/or depositing valuable documents,
    a reject and retract container (30) for receiving rejected valuable documents and valuable documents that have not been removed, and
    having a second transporting unit (24) for transporting valuable documents between the stacking unit (26), the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) and the reject and retract container (30),
    wherein the first diverter (50), in a first diverter position, feeds a valuable document removed from a cash box (18) to the stacking unit (26) and, in a second diverter position, feeds a valuable document removed from a cash box (18) to the second transporting unit (24).
  2. Device (10) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the second transporting unit (24) is configured such that, with the aid thereof, both valuable-document bundles (68) and individual valuable documents are transportable.
  3. Device (10) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the stacking unit (26) is configured such that a valuable-document bundle (68) stacked therein is feedable from the stacking unit (26) directly to the second transporting unit (24).
  4. Device (10) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the stacking unit (26) comprises a pivotable bearing element (66) which is adjustable between a feeding position, in which it is arranged while the fed valuable documents are being stacked to form the valuable-documents stack (68), and a removal position, in which it is arranged for transferring the valuable-document bundle (68) to the second transporting unit (24).
  5. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the reject and retract container (30) comprises a first compartment (32) for receiving rejected valuable documents and a second compartment (34), separate from the first compartment (32), for receiving valuable documents that have not been removed.
  6. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second transporting unit (24) comprises a second diverter (84) for feeding valuable documents, transported with the aid of the second transporting unit (24), to the reject and retract container (30).
  7. Device (10) according to Claim 6, characterized in that, with the aid of the second diverter (84), both rejected valuable documents and valuable documents that have not been removed from the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (30) are feedable to the reject and retract container (30), and in that, within the reject and retract container (30), provision is made of a third diverter (90) for distributing the valuable documents fed via the second diverter (84) to the first compartment (32) and the second compartment (34).
  8. Device (10) according to Claim 6, characterized in that, with the aid of the second diverter (84), only rejected valuable documents removed from the cash boxes (18) are feedable to the first compartment (32), and in that the second transporting unit (24) comprises a fourth diverter (86) for feeding valuable documents not removed from the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) to the second compartment (34).
  9. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the stacking unit (26) is arranged in a first end region of the second transporting unit (24) and the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) is arranged in a second end region, opposite the first end region, of the second transporting unit (24), and in that the reject and retract container (30) is arranged between the stacking unit (26) and the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (30).
  10. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second transporting unit (24) comprises at least one belt (72, 74) that is guided over at least one drivable deflecting element (76).
  11. Device (10) according to Claim 10, characterized in that the belt (72, 74) is driven in a first direction of rotation in order to transport valuable documents from the stacking unit (26) to the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28), in order to transport individual rejected valuable documents, removed from the cash boxes (18), to the reject and retract container (30), and in order to transport a rejected valuable-document bundle (68) from the stacking unit (26) to the reject and retract container (30).
  12. Device (10) according to Claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the belt (72, 74) is driven in a second direction of rotation, opposite to the first direction of rotation, in order to transport valuable documents not removed from the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) to the reject and retract container (30).
  13. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second transporting unit (24) comprises a receiving unit (82) for receiving a valuable-document bundle (68) in order to transport the valuable-document bundle (68) from the stacking unit to the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) and/or to the reject and retract container (30).
  14. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second transporting unit (24) comprises a sliding plate (120) for transporting the valuable-document bundle (68) from the stacking unit (26) to the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) and/or to the reject and retract container (30), wherein the sliding plate (120) presses against the edges of the valuable documents of the valuable-document bundle (68) in order to transport the valuable-document bundle (68), such that the valuable-document bundle (68) is moved.
  15. Device (10) according to Claim 14, characterized in that the sliding plate (120) is movable from the stacking unit (26) into the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28).
  16. Device (10) according to Claim 14 or 15, characterized in that the second transporting unit (24) comprises at least one double-belt arrangement (100) for transporting the valuable-document bundle (68), wherein the double-belt arrangement (100) comprises at least a first belt (102) and a second belt (104), between which the valuable-document bundle (68) is received for transport.
  17. Device (10) according to Claim 16, characterized in that, while it is being transported from the stacking unit (26) to the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28), the valuable-document bundle (68) is guided at least over a section, preferably over the entire distance, both by the double-belt arrangement (100) and by the sliding plate (120).
  18. Device (10) according to Claim 16, characterized in that, while it is being transported from the stacking unit (26) to the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28), the valuable-document bundle (68) is moved at least over a section, preferably over the entire distance, by the double-belt arrangement (100), and in that the sliding plate (120), at least on this section, is moved at a predetermined spacing behind the rear edge, as seen in the transporting direction of the valuable-document bundle (68), of the valuable-document bundle (68).
  19. Device (10) according to one of Claims 16 to 18, characterized in that the sliding plate (120) is movable independently of the belts (102, 104) of the double-belt arrangement (100).
  20. Device (10) according to Claim 19, characterized in that the sliding plate (120) is fastened to a third belt (122), in particular a toothed belt, in that the third belt (122) is drivable with the aid of a first drive unit, and in that the belts (102, 104) of the double-belt arrangement (100) are drivable with the aid of a second drive unit different from the first drive unit.
  21. Device (10) according to Claim 19 or 20, characterized in that, while a valuable-document bundle (68) is being transported from the stacking unit (26) to the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28), the sliding plate (120) is moved at a greater speed in the direction of the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28) than the belts (102, 104) of the double-belt arrangement (100).
  22. Device (10) according to one of Claims 19 to 21, characterized in that, while a valuable-document bundle (68) is being transported from the depositing and or dispensing compartment (28) in the direction of the stacking unit (26), the sliding plate (120) is moved at a lower speed in the direction of the stacking unit (28) than the belts (102, 104) of the double-belt arrangement (100).
  23. Device (10) according to one of Claims 13 to 22, characterized in that, while a valuable-document bundle (68) is being presented for removal from the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (20), the sliding plate (120) is arranged behind the valuable-document bundle (68) to be dispensed.
  24. Device (10) according to one of Claims 13 to 23, characterized in that, in order to control the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28), a control unit of the device (10) actuates the second transporting unit (24) such that the sliding plate (120) is moved into the depositing and/or dispensing compartment (28).
  25. Device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first transporting unit (22) and the second transporting unit (24) are configured such that, in a transfer region (54), valuable documents are transferable directly from the first transporting unit (22) to the second transporting unit (24).
