Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for handling banknotes, which comprises at least one cashbox for receiving banknotes and at least one separating and / or stacking module for removing banknotes from the cashbox and / or for supplying banknotes to the cashbox.
- the separating and / or stacking module is arranged separately from the cashbox.
- the cash box comprises a withdrawal element, which is arranged in a pivoted-away position such that notes of value of the cash box can be fed by means of the separating and / or stacking module through an opening of the cash box and / or removed therefrom, and this is arranged in a retention position in that no cash vouchers can be fed to the cashbox and no banknotes are removable.
- the device is in particular an ATM, an automatic POS system and / or an automatic cash deposit.
- ATMs a distinction is made between pay-as-you-go machines, where only notes of value can be paid out, and so-called recycling machines. With recycling machines both banknotes can be paid in and paid out. In particular, paid-in banknotes can also be paid out again in recycling machines.
- a single-sheet handling apparatus for entering and dispensing banknotes into and out of a container.
- the cut sheet handling apparatus has a feeder comprising feed members for feeding cash notes sheet by sheet and storing these notes in a stack of notes of value in the container.
- the single-sheet handling device has a separating device which comprises separating elements for the sheet-by-sheet removal of notes of value from the container. The feeding elements and the separating elements are arranged separately from the container.
- the container is in particular a cashbox.
- the cash box comprises a note return flap, with the aid of which the stack deposited in the cash box can be compressed after the feeding of one or more notes of value and with the aid of which the cash box is removed from the cash machine, prevents a bank note can escape from the cashbox, as long as a blind, with the help of a supply port through which the notes of value are fed and removed, is closed, not yet closed.
- the note retracting flap contacted in a retaining position to the supply opening facing note of the recorded in the cash box value note stack. In contrast, in a pivoted position, the note retracting flap is pivoted so far from the retention position of the value note stack that notes of value can be fed to the cashbox and notes of value can be removed from the cashbox.
- the cash box further comprises a spring by which the note return flap is held in the retention position.
- the separating and / or stacking module comprises a drive unit, by means of which the note return flap can be moved against the spring force of the spring from the retaining position to the pivoted position, so that banknotes can be fed and removed from the cashbox when the cashbox is inserted into the cash machine and thereby connected to the separating and / or stacking module.
- the note retracting flap is moved from the pivoted to the retaining position and back to the tilted position after the feeding of at least one note of value in order to compact the note stack.
- a disadvantage of this construction of the cashbox is that the separating and / or stacking module must necessarily include a drive unit so that the note return flap can be moved from the retention position to the pivoted position after the onset of the ATM, and thus notes of currency can be fed to the cashbox or removed from the cashbox. Without such a drive unit, the note retracting flap remains in the retaining position, so that no notes of value can be fed or removed from the cash box.
- the cashbox can thus be used only in ATMs that have a separating and stacking module, which has a drive unit.
- only one separating module is provided, with the aid of which notes of value can only be removed from the cash box.
- a bill handling apparatus comprising a cashbox and a stacker module for delivering notes to said cashbox.
- the cash box comprises a retraction element which is movable via leaf springs in a pivoted position and by means of a drive unit into a retaining position.
- the cashbox can also be used in pure payout machines whose separation modules for removing the notes from the cashbox comprise no drive unit, with the help of the withdrawal element between the Retention position and the pivoted position can be moved.
- the elastic element is achieved that the retraction element is automatically arranged in the pivoted position when the cash box is inserted in the device.
- the retraction element is in particular a so-called note retracting flap.
- the elastic element comprises in particular a spring, preferably a torsion spring.
- the torsion spring can be designed both as a tension and as a compression spring. Such springs can be obtained inexpensively in a simple manner, so that a cost-effective design of the device is achieved.
- the retraction element in the retaining position contacted a arranged at the opening of the cashbox end face of a arranged in the cash box Wertscheinstapels notes of value and pushes the Wertscheinstapel against a counter-pressure element.
- a shutter closing the opening is opened, no value note can unintentionally fall out of the opening.
- a consolidation of the value note stack is achieved, so that a proper stacking of the notes of value is ensured and an orderly handling of the notes of value is achieved.
- the cashbox comprises in particular a storage area for storing banknotes in a stacked form and a supply area for feeding banknotes from the separating and / or stacking module to the storage area and / or for transferring recorded in the storage area banknotes to the separating and / or stacking module.
- the storage area is limited in particular by the counter-pressure element, two lateral side walls of the cashbox, the bottom of the cashbox and the lid of the cashbox.
- the counter-pressure element is, in particular, a carriage which can be displaced in the stacking direction of the bank notes and which ensures that the bank notes are stacked correctly and can not tip over.
- the retraction element transports in the transition from the pivoted position to the retaining position arranged in the feed area value note in the receiving area.
- the device is in particular a recycling machine or a pay-out machine.
- the separating and / or stacking module is designed in such a way that both notes of value can be supplied to the cashbox with its aid, and also notes of value can be removed from the cashbox.
- the separating and / or stacking module is generally referred to as a separating and stacking module.
- the singling module merely serves to remove notes of value from the cash box.
- the separating and / or stacking module preferably comprises a drive unit with the aid of which the withdrawal element can be moved from the pivoted-off position into the retaining position and / or from the retaining position into the pivoted-away position.
- the drive unit moves the drive unit in the transition from the pivoted position to the retaining position, the retraction element against the restoring force of the elastic member from the pivoted position to the retaining position and deforms the elastic element.
- the retraction member is moved by the force of the elastic member. Consequently the drive unit must move the retraction element in one direction only, namely from the pivoted position to the restraint position.
- the cashbox is disposed in a receiving area of a vault of the device and notes of value of the cashbox can be fed and / or removed from the cashbox, wherein in a second operating state, the cashbox outside the vault is arranged.
- the cash box is completely removed from the device in the second operating state.
- the second operating state is thus inter alia that operating state in which the cashbox is transported between several devices, in particular between several ATMs.
- the vault comprises in particular a plurality of receiving areas, in each of which a cashbox is accommodated.
- the safe comprises four receiving areas in which four cash boxes can be accommodated.
- the withdrawal element is held against the restoring force of the elastic element by means of a retaining element of the cash box in the retaining position and the elastic element is elastically deformed. This ensures that, when the cash box is removed, the retraction element presses against a banknote stack arranged in the cashbox, thus preventing the banknote stack or individual banknotes of the banknote stack from slipping.
- the retraction element is in particular connected to a laterally protruding from the cashbox first guide element which is at least temporarily in engagement with a second guide element of the receiving area at the transition from the first to the second operating state.
- the retraction element is moved from the pivoted-down position, in which it is held by the elastic element, against the restoring force of the elastic element into the retaining position during the transition from the first to the second operating state, in which it is held by the retaining element.
- the restoring element is automatically moved from the pivoted position to the retaining position, so that such pivoting of the retraction element is ensured during the removal of the cashbox.
- the force required to move the retracting member from the pivoted position to the retainer position is preferably applied to the manual withdrawal of the cashbox from the vault by the service operator withdrawing the cashbox , In this way it is achieved that no mechanism, in particular no drive unit, must be provided, which moves the retraction element in the removal of the cashbox in the retaining position.
- a drive unit of a singulation module a pure payout machines are dispensed with.
- the holding element is arranged when holding the retraction element in the retaining position, in particular in a holding position.
- an actuating element is arranged in the receiving area, wherein the actuating element moves the holding element from the holding position to a released position during the transition from the second to the first operating state, ie when the cash box is inserted into the device, in which the holding element no longer retracts the retraction element holds the retention position. If the holding element is moved by the actuating element from the holding position to the released position, the retraction element is released, so that it is automatically moved by the restoring force of the elastic element from the retaining position to the pivoted position.
- the retraction element when inserting the cashbox, the retraction element is automatically moved to the pivoted position and the separating and / or stacking module no actuators, in particular no drive unit must have, which moves the retraction element in the pivoted position, thus added notes of value to the cashbox and / or the cashbox can be removed.
- the cashbox can thus also be used in pure payout machines whose separation module have no drive unit.
- the holding element is held in particular by a spring in the holding position, wherein during movement of the holding element from the holding position to the released position by means of the actuating element, the spring is elastically deformed, so that the holding element, after it is no longer held in the released position by the actuating element, automatically moves into the holding position.
- the withdrawal element is automatically arranged in the withdrawn position with a withdrawn cashbox and the retraction element is automatically arranged in inserted position with the cashbox in the pivoted position without requiring a drive unit within the cashbox and / or within the device, in particular within the Separation and / or stacking module is necessary.
- a simple and inexpensive construction of the device and the cashbox is achieved.
- the cashbox can be used in this way in both recycling and payout machines, so that in a second-order cash cycle management only a universally applicable Geldkassettenart is required.
- the actuating element is in particular designed as a pin protruding from the separating and / or stacking module in the direction of the receiving area of the vault, which contacts the holding element during insertion of the cash box into the receiving area and moves from the holding position into the released position.
- the first guide element is in particular a laterally projecting from the cashbox pen, whereas the second guide element is formed in particular by a backdrop through which the Pen is removed from the vault when removing the cashbox. As a result, the retraction element connected to the pin is moved from the pivoted position to the retaining position.
- the cash box comprises another elastic element which holds the withdrawal element in the pivoted position.
- This further elastic element is in particular identical to the one elastic element.
- both elastic elements are designed as torsion springs, which are arranged on the side walls of the cashbox facing sides of the retraction element.
- the entire cashbox is formed symmetrically to a center plane extending in the longitudinal direction of the cashbox.
- the receiving area for receiving the cashbox is preferably formed symmetrically.
- the previously described guide elements and retaining elements and the actuating element are provided twice and arranged on both sides of the retraction element. This ensures that the retraction element is moved over its entire length uniformly between the pivoted position and the retaining position and tilting or rotation of the retraction element due to the one-sided restoring force of only one elastic element is prevented.
- FIG. 1 a schematic representation of a device 10 for handling banknotes is shown.
- the device 10 is in particular an ATM, an automatic POS system and / or an automatic cash deposit.
- the device 10 comprises a vault 12 in which four cash cassettes 14a to 14d are accommodated. Furthermore, the device 10 has four separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d with the aid of which the money cassette 14a to 14d can be removed from the cash boxes 14a to 14d and / or notes of value can be fed to the cash boxes 14a to 14d. In this case, in each case a separating and / or stacking module 16a to 16d is assigned to one of the money cassettes 14a to 14d.
- the cash boxes 14a to 14d are in each case received in a receiving area of the safe 12. In particular, the receiving area in each case comprises two laterally on the vault walls arranged rails in which the money cassettes 14a to 14d are guided during insertion into the vault 12 and through which the money cassettes 14a to 14d are held in the vault 12.
- the notes of cash taken from the cash boxes 14a to 14d by means of the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d are transported out of the safe 12 via a transport path 18 through a transfer slot 22 and fed to an input and / or output tray 20 via which the cash boxes 14a until 14d withdrawn notes of value are issued to an operator of the device 10.
- the notes of value deposited by an operator via the input and / or output tray 20 are fed via the transport path 18 and the transfer slot 22 to the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d, which in turn feed the notes of value to the cash boxes 14a to 14d.
- the designed as an ATM device 10 may be both a so-called recycling machine and a payout machine.
- a payout machine the cash boxes 14a to 14d are merely taken out of notes of value and issued to an operator via the delivery tray 20, whereas no notes of value can be deposited and fed to the cash boxes 14a to 14d.
- the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d are designed only as separating modules with which Help the cash boxes 14a to 14d taken out only notes of value but no notes of value can be supplied.
- cash receipts 14a to 14d can both be taken out and delivered.
- banknotes deposited in a recycling machine can be paid out again.
- the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d are formed in such a recycling machine as a separating and stacking module 16a to 16d, with the aid of the cash boxes 14a to 14d both notes of value can be supplied as well as removed.
- FIG. 2 is a schematic representation of the device 10 shown in a second operating state. Elements with the same structure or the same function have the same reference numerals.
- the second operating state is that operating state in which the cash cassettes 14a to 14d are at least partially removed from the vault 12 of the device 10.
- the first operating state is the operating state in which the money cassettes 14a to 14d are inserted in the receiving areas 12 of the vault so that notes of value can be fed and / or removed to the money cassettes 14a to 14d.
- the withdrawn cash boxes 14a to 14d can be supplied to a cash center, for example via a value-transporting company, by emptying and / or with new banknotes to be filled.
- the cash boxes 14a to 14d can also be fed directly to another apparatus for handling bank notes, in particular another ATM, automatic cash register system and / or automatic cash deposit, without the cash boxes 14a to 14d being emptied and refilled in advance in a cash center become.
- the feeding of cash boxes 14a to 14d from a bill handling apparatus to another bill handling apparatus is also referred to as second-order cash cycle management.
- the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d are fixedly arranged in the vault 12 so that when the cash cassettes 14a to 14d are removed, the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d remain inside the apparatus 10 and are not removed with the cash cassettes 14a to 14d , As a result of this separation of the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d from the cash cassettes 14a to 14d, it is achieved that the cash cassettes 14a to 14d are simple and inexpensive, since they provide a relatively large storage area for the bank notes, and only a few mechanical elements must be provided within the cash boxes 14a to 14d.
- Such a separation of functions between the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d and the cash boxes 14a to 14d is from the patent application DE 10 2008 018 935 A1 The contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference into the present description.
- the cash boxes 14a to 14d can be used both in recycling machines and in pure payment machines. This is possible despite the separation of functions between the cash box 14a to 14d and the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d, is achieved by the below described construction of the cash boxes 14a to 14d, the separating modules 16a to 16d and the receiving areas of the safe 12 ,
- FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view of a cashbox 14a in the second operating state, ie a withdrawn cashbox 14a, shown.
- the cash boxes 14a to 14d are constructed identically in particular.
- the receiving areas in the vault 12 in which the cash cassettes 14a to 14d are accommodated and the separating and / or stacking modules 16a to 16d are preferably constructed identically, so that in the following only the construction of the first cash box 14a, the first separating and / or or stacking module 16a and the first receiving area of the safe 12 will be described.
- the description applies accordingly to the other cash cassettes 14b to 14d, the other separating and / or stacking modules 16b to 16d and the other receiving areas of the safe 12th
- the cash box 14a comprises two side walls 24a, 24b, a rear wall 26, a bottom element 28 and an in FIG. 3 lid, not shown, which can be opened by a service employee for the removal of bills by service employees and / or for loading the cash box 14a.
- a storage area 30 is limited, in which the recorded in the cash box 14a notes of value are stored in a stacked form.
- the cash box 14a includes a counter-pressure element 32, against which the value-added stack stored in the storage area 30 is pressed, so that the value of the value-note stack facing the counter-pressure element 32 bears against the counter-pressure element 32 and thus a proper stacking of the notes of value is ensured.
- the counterpressure element 32 is designed, in particular, as a carriage movable in the direction of the double arrow P1, the carriage 32 always being moved so far that the storage area 30 is limited by the carriage 32 to the size of the value note stack received in the storage area 30.
- the cash box 14a comprises a withdrawal element 34 designed as a note retraction flap.
- the retraction element 34 is provided in the retraction element 34 FIG. 3 shown second operating state, ie with removed cashbox 14a in one Retention position arranged in which it contacts the value attached to it of the value recorded in the storage area 30 Wertscheinstapels and pushes the bill of exchange against the counter-pressure element 32.
- the cashbox 14a has an opening 36, through which the notes of value in the first operating state, as if the cashbox 14a is inserted in the device 10, the cashbox 14a are supplied and / or can be removed from the cashbox 14a.
- the opening 36 In the removed state, the opening 36 by an in FIG. 3 Blinds not shown closed.
- the blind is guided in guide rails 38 of the side walls 24a, 24b, and is opened when inserting the cash box 14a into the device 10, preferably automatically, and automatically closed when removing the cash box 14a from the device 10.
- By retracting element 34 is prevented when the opening is open 36, so when the blind is open, especially when removing the cashbox 14a, the withdrawal element 34 facing bill of the value note stack unintentionally falls out of the opening 36.
- the retraction element 34 arranged in the retention position 34 that the notes of value of the value note stack received in the money cassette 14a can not tip over during the transport of the money cassette 14a. It is thereby achieved that the notes of value can be removed without difficulty using the separating and / or stacking module 16a when inserting the cash box 14a into the device 10, or other notes of value can be supplied.
- the retraction element 34 is via two adjustment mechanisms 40, 42 with the side walls 24 a, 24 b of Cashbox 14a connected. About these adjusting mechanisms 40, 42, the retraction member 34 is moved between the retaining position and a pivoted position. The pivoted-away position of the retraction element 34 is the position at which the retraction element 34 no longer contacts the value note stack and notes of value can be fed to the storage area 30 or removed from the storage area 30.
- the adjusting mechanisms 40, 42 are in particular of identical construction, so that in the following only the construction of the first adjusting mechanism 40 will be described.
- the adjustment mechanism 42 is constructed accordingly.
- only one adjustment mechanism 40, 42 may be provided.
- the two adjustment mechanisms 40, 42 may be formed differently.
- the retraction element 34 is connected via a pin 44 with the first side wall 24a and rotatably supported about this pin 44 about the longitudinal axis of the pin 44. Further includes the adjusting mechanism 40 a pivot member 46 which is rotatably connected about a rotation axis 50 with the first side wall 24a. Further, the pivot member 46 is guided via a pin 48 in a groove of the first side wall 24a. About this pin 48 and the groove of the pivoting range in which the pivot member 46 can be pivoted about the axis 50, limited. Is the withdrawal element 34, as in the Figures 3 and 4 shown disposed in the retaining position, pivot member 46 is disposed in a lower position, wherein the pin 48 is disposed at the lower end of the groove of the first side wall 24a.
- the pin 48 is in particular stationary and rotatably connected to the pivoting element 46.
- the pivoting element 46 and the retraction element 34 are connected to one another via a connecting element 52, the retraction element 34 and the connecting element 52 and the connecting element 52 and the pivoting element 46 each connected to one another via a pin 54, 56 and thus are rotatable relative to each other.
- the connecting element 52 is connected via a spring 58 to the first side wall 24a, wherein the spring 58 in the retaining position of the retraction element 34 stretched, so elastically deformed, is.
- the adjusting mechanism 40 comprises a holding element 60, which in the in FIG. 3 and 4 shown second operating state is arranged in a holding position in which it contacts the pivot member 46 and holds the pivot member 46 in the lower position. Without the retaining element 60, the pivoting element 46 would be pivoted by the restoring force of the spring 58 from the lower position to an upper position in the direction of the arrow P2. Furthermore, the connecting element would 52 is moved in the direction of the arrow P3 and the retraction element is pivoted in the direction of the arrow P4 and thus moved from the retaining position to the pivoted position.
- the holding element 60 is thus achieved in the second operating state that the retraction element 34 is held against the restoring force of the spring 58 in the retaining position.
- the holding element 60 is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation 62 and connected to the first side wall 24a. Further, the holding member 60 is connected via a compression spring 64 to the first side wall 24a. In the in the Figures 3 and 4 shown second operating state, ie with removed cashbox 14a, the holding member 60 is arranged in a holding position in which the compression spring 64 is not compressed, so that the compression spring 64 exerts no force on the holding member 60.
- FIG. 5 is a schematic perspective view of a section of the cash box 14a and the separating and / or stacking module 16a shown in the transition from the second operating state to the first operating state.
- the first side wall 24a of the cash box 14a is hidden.
- the separating and / or stacking module 16a comprises a pin 66 which is fixedly connected to a side plate 68 and which engages in the receiving area when the cash box 14a is inserted of the safe 12 and thus during the transition from the second to the first operating state presses against a contact surface 70 of the holding member 60 and the holding member 60 is rotated in the direction of arrow P5 about the rotation axis 62, so that the holding member 60 no longer contacts the pivot member 46 and the pivot member 46th thus no longer held in the lower position.
- a pin 66 which is fixedly connected to a side plate 68 and which engages in the receiving area when the cash box 14a is inserted of the safe 12 and thus during the transition from the second to the first operating state presses against a contact surface 70 of the holding member 60 and the holding member 60 is rotated in the direction of arrow P5 about the rotation axis 62, so that the holding member 60 no longer contacts the pivot member 46 and the pivot member 46th thus no longer held in the lower position.
- transition state is shown just the state in which the holding member 60 has been rotated by the contact with the pin 66 from the holding position in the direction of arrow P5 in a released position, the pivot member 46 has not yet moved from the lower position.
- the compression spring 64 is compressed by the rotation of the retaining element 60 against its spring force, so that the retaining element 60, when the pin 66, the contact surface 70 is no longer contacted, would be moved by the restoring force of the compression spring 64 again from the released position to the holding position.
- the force required to compress the compression spring 64 is applied by the service representative who inserts the cash box 14a into the receiving area of the safe 12.
- the pin 66 may also be attached to the vault 12.
- the connecting element 52 is moved by the spring force of the spring 58 in the direction of the arrow P6, that is to say for the separating and / or stacking module 16a.
- pivot member 46 is pivoted in the direction of the arrow P2 and thus moved from the lower position to the upper position.
- the pivoting element 46 via the pin 48 in an in FIG. 5 not shown groove of the first side wall 14a out.
- the connecting member 52 by moving the connecting member 52 in the direction of arrow P3, the retraction member 34 is pivoted in the direction of the arrow P4 and thus moved from the retaining position to the pivoted position.
- Moving the retraction element 34 from the retaining position to the pivoted position thus takes place automatically when inserting the cash box 14a into the safe 12 due to the restoring force of the tensioned in the second operating state spring 56.
- a drive unit of the separating and / or stacking module 16a is thus, unlike As is known in the art, it is not necessary to move the retraction member 34 from the retention position to the tilted position.
- the cash box 14a can thus also be used in devices 10 whose separation and / or stacking module 16a has no drive unit for moving the withdrawal element 34. This is the case, in particular, in the case of pure payout machines, which have only one separating module, which does not require a drive unit, since it is not necessary to move the return element 34 to compact the stack, because no notes of value are fed to the cash box 14a.
- FIG. 6 is a schematic perspective view of the cash box 14 and the separating and / or stacking module 16 a shown during the transition from the second to the first operating state.
- FIG. 7 is a schematic perspective view of a section of the cashbox 14a and the separating and / or stacking module 16a in the second operating state, ie shown in the safe 12 inserted cashbox 14a.
- the retraction element 34 is in FIG. 7 arranged in the pivoted position so that notes of value of the cash box 14a can be fed through the opening 36 and / or removed.

- FIG. 8 is a schematic perspective view of another section of the cashbox 14a and the separating and / or stacking module 16a shown.
- the retraction member 34a is also disposed in the pivoted-down position.
- the separating and / or stacking module 16a comprises a drive unit 76, in particular an electric and / or stepping motor.
- the drive unit 76 is connected via gears and shafts with two slides 78a, 78b, which can be moved via the drive unit 76 in the direction of the double arrow P6.
- the sliders 78a, 78b are each fixedly connected to a roller 80, which contact the withdrawal element 34.
- the retraction member 34 is moved against the direction of the arrow P4 from the pivoted position to the retaining position via contact with the rollers 80.
- the drive unit 76 in the first operating state, that is inserted cash cassette 14a, the retraction element 34 is movable against the spring force of the spring 58 from the pivoted position to the retaining position, so that at an ATM 10, the cash box 14a Also notes of value can be supplied, the value note stack can be compacted by means of the withdrawal element 34 by pivoting the retraction member 34 from the pivoted position to the retention position.
- FIG. 9 is a schematic perspective view of the cashbox 14a and the separating and / or stacking module 16a shown in the second operating state. As well as in FIG. 8 is in FIG. 9 the retraction member 34 shown in the pivoted position.

- the guide member 84 may include only the first portion 86. In summary, it is thus achieved that the withdrawal element 34 is automatically moved in the removal of the cashbox 14 in the retaining position, without the need for a drive unit is necessary.
- the spring 58 is tensioned, so that during the subsequent insertion of the cashbox 14a into another device for handling notes of value, in particular in another ATM, by a corresponding actuation of the holding element 60, the withdrawal element 34 is again moved from the retaining position to the tilted position, so that notes of value of the cash box 14a can be fed and / or removed.
- the appropriate arrangement of the spring 58 and the provision of the guide member 84 and the corresponding mechanism of the cashbox 14a achieved that the cashbox 14a can be used universally both in recycling and pure payout machines, and the separation and / or Stack modules of payout machines do not need to have a drive unit for moving the withdrawal element 34.

Description
The invention relates to a device for handling banknotes, which comprises at least one cashbox for receiving banknotes and at least one separating and / or stacking module for removing banknotes from the cashbox and / or for supplying banknotes to the cashbox. The separating and / or stacking module is arranged separately from the cashbox. The cash box comprises a withdrawal element, which is arranged in a pivoted-away position such that notes of value of the cash box can be fed by means of the separating and / or stacking module through an opening of the cash box and / or removed therefrom, and this is arranged in a retention position in that no cash vouchers can be fed to the cashbox and no banknotes are removable.
The device is in particular an ATM, an automatic POS system and / or an automatic cash deposit. At ATMs, a distinction is made between pay-as-you-go machines, where only notes of value can be paid out, and so-called recycling machines. With recycling machines both banknotes can be paid in and paid out. In particular, paid-in banknotes can also be paid out again in recycling machines.

The cash box comprises a note return flap, with the aid of which the stack deposited in the cash box can be compressed after the feeding of one or more notes of value and with the aid of which the cash box is removed from the cash machine, prevents a bank note can escape from the cashbox, as long as a blind, with the help of a supply port through which the notes of value are fed and removed, is closed, not yet closed. The note retracting flap contacted in a retaining position to the supply opening facing note of the recorded in the cash box value note stack. In contrast, in a pivoted position, the note retracting flap is pivoted so far from the retention position of the value note stack that notes of value can be fed to the cashbox and notes of value can be removed from the cashbox. The cash box further comprises a spring by which the note return flap is held in the retention position. The separating and / or stacking module comprises a drive unit, by means of which the note return flap can be moved against the spring force of the spring from the retaining position to the pivoted position, so that banknotes can be fed and removed from the cashbox when the cashbox is inserted into the cash machine and thereby connected to the separating and / or stacking module. With the help of the drive unit, the note retracting flap is moved from the pivoted to the retaining position and back to the tilted position after the feeding of at least one note of value in order to compact the note stack.
A disadvantage of this construction of the cashbox is that the separating and / or stacking module must necessarily include a drive unit so that the note return flap can be moved from the retention position to the pivoted position after the onset of the ATM, and thus notes of currency can be fed to the cashbox or removed from the cashbox. Without such a drive unit, the note retracting flap remains in the retaining position, so that no notes of value can be fed or removed from the cash box. The cashbox can thus be used only in ATMs that have a separating and stacking module, which has a drive unit. In contrast, in the case of pure payment machines, instead of a separating and stacking module, only one separating module is provided, with the aid of which notes of value can only be removed from the cash box. If no banknotes are supplied, and thus compaction of the stack is not necessary, such singulation modules do not require a drive unit for moving the note return flap. This has the consequence that the cash box described above can not be used in pure pay-out machines, or, if so desired, the separation modules of the payout machines must be specially provided with a drive unit, only to the return flap from the retaining position in the pivoted position move. In particular, in order to achieve second order cash cycle management, each payout machine must be provided with such singulation modules that include a drive unit. This is associated with high costs. Furthermore, this requires more space. Under a second-order cash cycle management is understood when money cassettes are exchanged between several ATMs, automatic POS systems and / or automatic cash safes, without having to be previously emptied and refilled.

It is an object of the invention to provide a device for handling bank notes, which is simple and inexpensive and with their help in a simple manner cost-effective second-order cash cycle management can be realized.
This object is achieved by a device having the features of patent claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
By providing an elastic element which holds the retraction element in the pivoted position, it is achieved that the cashbox can also be used in pure payout machines whose separation modules for removing the notes from the cashbox comprise no drive unit, with the help of the withdrawal element between the Retention position and the pivoted position can be moved. By the elastic element is achieved that the retraction element is automatically arranged in the pivoted position when the cash box is inserted in the device. Thus, even with pure payout machines not extra for moving the retraction element drive units must be provided. As a result, a simple and cost-effective design of the payout machines is achieved and ensures a universal insertion of the cashbox in both deposit, disbursement and recycling machines. This universal insertion of such a simply constructed cash box in all types of ATMs, but also in automatic cash register systems and / or automatic cash deposits, together with the separate arrangement of the separating and / or stacking module and the cashbox results in the attractiveness of a cash machine. Cycle management second order is increased, because the entire process is simplified, since only one Geldkassettenbest must be used, and because the cashbox that can break during the life of an ATM more frequently, can be replaced inexpensively.
The retraction element is in particular a so-called note retracting flap. The elastic element comprises in particular a spring, preferably a torsion spring. The torsion spring can be designed both as a tension and as a compression spring. Such springs can be obtained inexpensively in a simple manner, so that a cost-effective design of the device is achieved.
Further, it is advantageous if the retraction element in the retaining position contacted a arranged at the opening of the cashbox end face of a arranged in the cash box Wertscheinstapels notes of value and pushes the Wertscheinstapel against a counter-pressure element. As a result, it is achieved on the one hand that, if a shutter closing the opening is opened, no value note can unintentionally fall out of the opening. Further, by arranging the retraction member in the retention position, a consolidation of the value note stack is achieved, so that a proper stacking of the notes of value is ensured and an orderly handling of the notes of value is achieved.
The cashbox comprises in particular a storage area for storing banknotes in a stacked form and a supply area for feeding banknotes from the separating and / or stacking module to the storage area and / or for transferring recorded in the storage area banknotes to the separating and / or stacking module. The storage area is limited in particular by the counter-pressure element, two lateral side walls of the cashbox, the bottom of the cashbox and the lid of the cashbox. The counter-pressure element is, in particular, a carriage which can be displaced in the stacking direction of the bank notes and which ensures that the bank notes are stacked correctly and can not tip over. The retraction element transports in the transition from the pivoted position to the retaining position arranged in the feed area value note in the receiving area. As a result, it is achieved that the supply area is free for the supply of another banknote. Furthermore, it is achieved that a banknote arranged in the delivery area does not fall out of the device unintentionally when the cashbox is removed.
The device is in particular a recycling machine or a pay-out machine. In a recycling machine, the separating and / or stacking module is designed in such a way that both notes of value can be supplied to the cashbox with its aid, and also notes of value can be removed from the cashbox. For this reason, in a recycling machine the separating and / or stacking module is generally referred to as a separating and stacking module. In contrast, in the case of a payout machine, the singling module merely serves to remove notes of value from the cash box. Particularly in the case of recycling machines, the separating and / or stacking module preferably comprises a drive unit with the aid of which the withdrawal element can be moved from the pivoted-off position into the retaining position and / or from the retaining position into the pivoted-away position. By moving the withdrawal element between the retention position and the pivoted position and vice versa, it is achieved that the value note stack is compressed after the delivery of one or more notes of value, so that a proper stacking of the notes in the storage area of the cash box is ensured.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention moves the drive unit in the transition from the pivoted position to the retaining position, the retraction element against the restoring force of the elastic member from the pivoted position to the retaining position and deforms the elastic element. On the other hand, in the reverse transition from the retention position to the tilted position, the retraction member is moved by the force of the elastic member. Consequently the drive unit must move the retraction element in one direction only, namely from the pivoted position to the restraint position. In a first operating state, the cashbox is disposed in a receiving area of a vault of the device and notes of value of the cashbox can be fed and / or removed from the cashbox, wherein in a second operating state, the cashbox outside the vault is arranged. In particular, the cash box is completely removed from the device in the second operating state. The second operating state is thus inter alia that operating state in which the cashbox is transported between several devices, in particular between several ATMs. The vault comprises in particular a plurality of receiving areas, in each of which a cashbox is accommodated. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the safe comprises four receiving areas in which four cash boxes can be accommodated. In the second operating state, ie in the operating state in which the cash box is removed from the vault, the withdrawal element is held against the restoring force of the elastic element by means of a retaining element of the cash box in the retaining position and the elastic element is elastically deformed. This ensures that, when the cash box is removed, the retraction element presses against a banknote stack arranged in the cashbox, thus preventing the banknote stack or individual banknotes of the banknote stack from slipping.
The retraction element is in particular connected to a laterally protruding from the cashbox first guide element which is at least temporarily in engagement with a second guide element of the receiving area at the transition from the first to the second operating state. By means of this engagement, the retraction element is moved from the pivoted-down position, in which it is held by the elastic element, against the restoring force of the elastic element into the retaining position during the transition from the first to the second operating state, in which it is held by the retaining element. In this way it is achieved that during the removal of the cash box, the restoring element is automatically moved from the pivoted position to the retaining position, so that such pivoting of the retraction element is ensured during the removal of the cashbox.
The force required to move the retracting member from the pivoted position to the retainer position, particularly the force needed to elastically deform the resilient member, is preferably applied to the manual withdrawal of the cashbox from the vault by the service operator withdrawing the cashbox , In this way it is achieved that no mechanism, in particular no drive unit, must be provided, which moves the retraction element in the removal of the cashbox in the retaining position. Thus, in particular, a drive unit of a singulation module a pure payout machines are dispensed with.
The holding element is arranged when holding the retraction element in the retaining position, in particular in a holding position. In particular, an actuating element is arranged in the receiving area, wherein the actuating element moves the holding element from the holding position to a released position during the transition from the second to the first operating state, ie when the cash box is inserted into the device, in which the holding element no longer retracts the retraction element holds the retention position. If the holding element is moved by the actuating element from the holding position to the released position, the retraction element is released, so that it is automatically moved by the restoring force of the elastic element from the retaining position to the pivoted position. Thus, it is achieved that when inserting the cashbox, the retraction element is automatically moved to the pivoted position and the separating and / or stacking module no actuators, in particular no drive unit must have, which moves the retraction element in the pivoted position, thus added notes of value to the cashbox and / or the cashbox can be removed. The cashbox can thus also be used in pure payout machines whose separation module have no drive unit.
The holding element is held in particular by a spring in the holding position, wherein during movement of the holding element from the holding position to the released position by means of the actuating element, the spring is elastically deformed, so that the holding element, after it is no longer held in the released position by the actuating element, automatically moves into the holding position.
Thus, it is achieved on the whole that the withdrawal element is automatically arranged in the withdrawn position with a withdrawn cashbox and the retraction element is automatically arranged in inserted position with the cashbox in the pivoted position without requiring a drive unit within the cashbox and / or within the device, in particular within the Separation and / or stacking module is necessary. As a result, a simple and inexpensive construction of the device and the cashbox is achieved. In particular, the cashbox can be used in this way in both recycling and payout machines, so that in a second-order cash cycle management only a universally applicable Geldkassettenart is required.
The actuating element is in particular designed as a pin protruding from the separating and / or stacking module in the direction of the receiving area of the vault, which contacts the holding element during insertion of the cash box into the receiving area and moves from the holding position into the released position. The first guide element is in particular a laterally projecting from the cashbox pen, whereas the second guide element is formed in particular by a backdrop through which the Pen is removed from the vault when removing the cashbox. As a result, the retraction element connected to the pin is moved from the pivoted position to the retaining position.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cash box comprises another elastic element which holds the withdrawal element in the pivoted position. This further elastic element is in particular identical to the one elastic element. In particular, both elastic elements are designed as torsion springs, which are arranged on the side walls of the cashbox facing sides of the retraction element. In particular, the entire cashbox is formed symmetrically to a center plane extending in the longitudinal direction of the cashbox. Also, the receiving area for receiving the cashbox is preferably formed symmetrically. In particular, the previously described guide elements and retaining elements and the actuating element are provided twice and arranged on both sides of the retraction element. This ensures that the retraction element is moved over its entire length uniformly between the pivoted position and the retaining position and tilting or rotation of the retraction element due to the one-sided restoring force of only one elastic element is prevented.
Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description, which illustrates the invention of exemplary embodiments explained in more detail in connection with the attached figures.

The

The designed as an

The withdrawn
In order to be able to realize effective second-order cash cycle management, it is necessary that the

The
