Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen, die ohne gegenüber Isocyanat reaktive Komponente auszuhärten sind, Verfahren zur Herstellung derartiger Zusammensetzungen sowie deren Verwendung.
Description
Reaktive Isocvanatzusammensetzunqen
Die Erfindung betrifft Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen, die ohne gegenüber Isocyanat reaktive Komponente auszuhärten sind, Verfahren zur Herstellung derartiger Zusammensetzungen sowie deren Verwendung.
Extern oder intern blockierte Polyisocyanate stellen wertvolle Vernetzer für thermisch vernetzbare Polyurethan (PUR)-Lack- und Klebstoffzusammensetzung dar.
So beschreibt z. B. die DE-OS 27 35 497 PUR-Lacke mit hervorragender Witterungs- und Wärmestabilität. Die Vernetzer, deren Herstellung in der DE-OS 27 12 931 beschrieben wird, bestehen aus ε-Caprolactam blockiertem Isocyanuratgruppen enthaltendem Isophorondiisocyanat. Es sind auch urethan-, biuret- oder harnstoffgruppenhaltige Polyisocyanate bekannt, deren Isocyanatgruppen ebenfalls blockiert sind.
Der Nachteil dieser extern blockierten Systeme besteht in der Abspaltung des Blockierungsmittels während der thermischen Vernetzungsreaktion. Da das Blockierungsmittel somit in die Umwelt emittieren kann, müssen aus ökologischen und arbeitshygienischen Gründen besondere Vorkehrungen zur Reinigung der Abluft und/oder Wiedergewinnung des Blockierungsmittels getroffen werden. Zudem weisen die Vernetzer eine geringe Reaktivität auf. Es sind Härtungstemperaturen oberhalb von 170 °C erforderlich.
Die DE-OS 30 30 539 und DE-OS 30 30 572 beschreiben Verfahren zur Herstellung von Uretdiongruppen haltigen Polyadditionsverbindungen, deren terminale Isocyanatgruppen mit Monoalkoholen oder Monoaminen irreversibel blockiert sind. Nachteilig sind insbesondere die Ketten abbrechenden Bestandteile der Vernetzer, die zu geringen Netzwerkdichten der PUR-Lackbeschichtungen und damit zu mäßigen Lösemittelbeständigkeiten führen.
Hydroxylgruppen terminierte, Uretdiongruppen haltige Polyadditionsverbindungen sind Gegenstand der EP 669 353. Sie weisen aufgrund ihrer Funktionalität von zwei eine verbesserte Resistenz gegenüber Lösemitteln auf. Den Zusammensetzungen auf Basis dieser Uretdiongruppen haltigen Polyisocyanate ist gemeinsam, dass sie bei der Härtungsreaktion keine flüchtigen Verbindungen emittieren. Allerdings liegen die Einbrenntemperaturen mit mindestens 180 °C auf hohem Niveau.
In handelsüblichen 2K-Formulierungen werden Isocyanat haltige Komponenten mit gegenüber Isocyanatgruppen reaktive Komponenten gemischt und zur Reaktion gebracht. Dies hat den Nachtteil, dass hier auf die geeignete Stöchiometrie geachtet werden muss, wobei es in der Praxis hier immer wieder zu Fehlern in der Dosierung oder in der Berechnung kommt. Außerdem muss bei hochreaktiven Systemen auch die Durchmischung optimal sein, was einen erhöhten apparativen Aufwand bedeutet.
Feuchtigkeitshärtende Polyurethansysteme (z. B. DE 196 46 879) benötigen außer der NCO-Komponente keinen weiteren Reaktionspartner. Diese haben aber den Nachteil, dass die Aushärtung vergleichsweise lange andauert (1 -4 Wochen je nach Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit) und signifikant von Umgebungsparametern abhängt.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung war es daher, reaktive Isocyanatgruppen haltige Zusammensetzungen zu finden, die ohne Zugabe von Reaktionspartnern auszuhärten sind, zumindest aber ohne Zugabe von stöchiomethschen Mengen an Reaktionspartnern.
Überraschend wurde gefunden, dass die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen die Aufgabenstellung erfüllen.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen im Wesentlichen enthaltend A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen
Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %, B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder Phosphoniumsalz mit
Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %,
C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 5 %,
D) gegebenenfalls mindestens eine Säure in monomerer oder polymerer Form in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,01 bis 20 %
E) gegebenenfalls Hydroxylgruppen haltige Verbindungen, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,5 bis 70 %, F) gegebenenfalls Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,001 bis 50 %,
G) gegebenenfalls Lösemittel, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 1 bis 70 %.
Weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen sind reaktiv. Das bedeutet, dass die Zusammensetzungen bei 80 bis 160 °C innerhalb von 5 bis 30 Minuten aushärten.
Als Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindungen, Komponente A), sind grundsätzlich eine breite Palette von Isocyanaten basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten geeignet. Erfindungsgemäß werden Diisocyanate wie z. B. Isophorondiisocyanat (IPDI), Hexamethylendiisocyanat (HDI), 2,2'-
Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat/ 2,4'- Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat/ 4,4'-
Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat (H12MDI), 2-Methylpentandiisocyanat (MPDI), 2,2,4-Tπmethylhexamethylendiisocyanat/2,4,4-Tπmethylhexamethylendiisocyanat (TMDI), Norbornandiisocyanat (NBDI), Methylendiphenyldiisocyanat (MDI), Toluidindiisocyanat (TDI) und Tetramethylxylylendiisocyanat (TMXDI) als Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindungen A) verwendet. Ganz besonders bevorzugt werden IPDI, 4,4'-H12MDI und HDI eingesetzt. Natürlich können auch Mischungen verwendet werden. Diese Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen werden entweder in Reinform oder in Form ihrer Derivate verwendet, z. B. Isocyanurate, Allophanate, Harnstoffe, Biurete und/oder Carbodiimide, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %, Die reinen oder derivatisierten Isocyanate können mit Hydroxylgruppen oder Amingruppen tragenden Verbindungen umgesetzt werden, so dass daraus Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Prepolymere als Komponente A) resultieren.
Die Umsetzung dieser Isocyanatgruppen tragenden Isocyanate zu
Isocynanatgruppen aufweisenden Prepolymeren Komponente A) beinhaltet die Reaktion der freien NCO-Gruppen mit Hydroxylgruppen haltigen und/oder Amingruppen haltigen Monomeren oder Polymeren, wie z. B. Polyestern, Polythioethern, Polyethern, Polycaprolactamen, Polyepoxiden, Polyesteramiden, Polyamiden, Polyetheraminen, Polyurethanen oder niedermolekularen Di-, Th- und/oder Tetraalkoholen als Kettenverlängerer und gegebenenfalls Monoaminen und/oder Monoalkoholen als Kettenabbrecher und wurde schon häufig beschrieben (DE 198 51 182, DE 197 00 014, WO 98/34972, WO 97/466 093, EP 669 353, EP 669 354). Hierzu werden nicht erfindungsgemäße Katalysatoren wie z. B. DBTL eingesetzt.
Der überschüssige Gehalt an monomeren Isocyanaten kann gegebenenfalls destillativ, z. B. mit einer Kurzweg- oder Dünnschichtdestillation aus dem Prepolymermischung A) abgetrennt werden.
Der NCO-Gehalt vom Prepolymer A) kann zwischen 1 und 45 % variieren, wobei das
Verhältnis von NCO/OH Gruppen > 1 ist.
Bevorzugt werden Polyester mit einer OH-Zahl von 30 bis 250 mg KOH/g und einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von 250 bis 6000 g/mol oder monomere Dialkohole, wie z. B. Ethylenglykol, Propandiol-(1 ,2) und -(1 ,3), 2,2-Dimethylpropandiol-(1 ,3), Butandiol-(1 ,4), Hexandiol-(1 ,6), 2-Methylpentandiol-1 ,5, 2,2,4-Trimethylhexandiol- (1 ,6), 2,4,4-Trimethylhexandiol-(1 ,6), Heptandiol-(1 ,7), Dodecandiol-(1 ,12), Octadecen-9,10-diol-(1 ,12), Thiodiglykol, Octadecandiol-(1 ,18), 2,4-Di-methyl-2- propylheptandiol-(1 ,3), Diethylenglykol, Thethylenglykol, Tetraethylenglykol, trans- und cis-i ^-Cyclo-hexandimethanol, eingesetzt.
Als Katalysatoren unter B) werden quarternäre Ammoniumsalze und/oder quarternäre Phosphoniumsalze mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen als Gegenion eingesetzt. Beispiele dafür sind Tetramethylammoniumformiat, Tetramethylammoniumacetat, Tetramethylammoniumpropionat, Tetramethylammoniumbutyrat, Tetramethylammoniumbenzoat, Tetramethylammoniumhydroxid, Tetraethylammoniumformiat, Tetraethylammoniumacetat, Tetraethylammoniumpropionat, Tetraethylammoniumbutyrat, Tetraethylammoniumbenzoat, Tetraethylammoniumhydroxid,, Tetrapropylammoniumformiat, Tetrapropylammoniumacetat, Tetrapropylammoniumpropionat, Tetrapropylammoniumbutyrat, Tetrapropylammoniumbenzoat,Tetrapropylammoniumhydroxid, Tetrabutylammoniumformiat, Tetrabutylammoniumacetat, Tetrabutylammoniumpropionat, Tetrabutylammoniumbutyrat, Tetrabutylammoniumbenzoat, Tetrabutylammoniumhydroxid, Tetrabutylphosphoniumacetat, Tetrabutylphosphoniumformiat, , Ethyltriphenylphosphoniumacetat, Tetrabutylphosphoniumbenzotriazolat, Tetraphenylphosphoniumphenolat, Thhexyltetradecylphosphoniumdecanoat, Tetramethylammoniumfluorid, Tetraethylammoniumfluorid, Tetrabutylammoniumfluorid, Tetraoctylammoniumfluorid,

Diese Katalysatoren können allein oder in Mischungen zugesetzt werden. Sie können auch verkapselt oder polymer angebunden sein. Bevorzugt werden Tetraethylammoniumbenzoat und Tetrabutylammoniumhydroxid verwendet.
Der Anteil an Katalysatoren B) kann von 0,1 bis 3 % Gew.-% an der Gesamtformulierung betragen, bevorzugt von 0,3 bis 2 Gew.-% an der Gesamtformulierung.
Als Co-Katalysatoren C) werden Epoxide eingesetzt. In Frage kommen dabei z. B.
Glycidylether und Glycidylester, aliphatische Epoxide, Diglycidylether auf Basis Bisphenol A und Glycidylmethacrylate. Beispiele für solche Epoxide sind Triglycidylisocyanurat (TGIC, Handelsname Araldit 810, Huntsman), Gemische aus Terephthalsäurediglycidylester und Trimelitsäuretriglycidylester (Handelsname Araldit PT 910 und 912, Huntsman), Glycidylester der Versatiesäure (Handelsname Kardura E10, Shell), 3,4-Epoxycyclohexylmethyl-3',4'-epoxycyclohexancarboxylat (ECC), Diglycidylether auf Basis Bisphenol A (Handelsname EPIKOTE 828, Shell) Ethylhexylglycidylether, Butylglycidylether, Pentaerythrittetraglycidylether, (Handelsname Polypox R 16, UPPC AG) sowie andere Polypoxtypen mit freien Epoxygruppen. Bevorzugt werden verwendet Araldit PT 910 und/oder 912.
Der Anteil an Katalysatoren C) kann von 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-% betragen, bevorzugt von 0,3 bis 2 Gew.-% an der Gesamtformulierung, und sie können allein oder in Mischungen enthalten sein.
Säuren, die unter D) genannt werden, sind alle Stoffe, fest oder flüssig, organisch oder anorganisch, monomer oder polymer, die die Eigenschaften einer Brönstedt- oder einer Lewissäure besitzen. Als Beispiele seien genannt: Schwefelsäure, Essigsäure, Benzoesäure, Malonsäure, Bernsteinsäure, Terephthalsäure, aber auch Copolyester oder Copolyamide mit einer Säurezahl von mindestens 20. Falls vorhanden kann der Anteil dieser Säuren an der Gesamtformulierung zwischen 0,01 % und 20 Gew.-% betragen, bevorzugt zwischen 0,1 und 5 Gew.-%, und sie können allein oder in Mischungen enthalten sein.
Als Hydroxylgruppen haltige Verbindungen E) werden z. B. Polymere mit einer
OH-Zahl von 20 - 500 mg KOH/Gramm, bevorzugt 30 bis 120 mg KOH/g eingesetzt.
Bei den Hydroxylgruppen haltigen Polymeren E) werden bevorzugt Polyester, Polyether, Polyacrylate, Polyurethane, Polyether und/oder Polycarbonate mit einer OH-Zahl von 20 bis 500 (in mg KOH/Gramm) und einer mittleren Molmasse von 250 bis 6000 g/Mol eingesetzt. Besonders bevorzugt werden Hydroxylgruppen haltige
Polyester mit einer OH-Zahl von 20 bis 150 und einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von 500 bis 6 000 g/mol. Selbstverständlich können auch Mischungen solcher Polymere eingesetzt werden.
Als Polymer E) werden besonders bevorzugt Hydroxygruppen haltige Polyester eingesetzt. Die für die Herstellung dieser Polyester bevorzugten Carbonsäuren können aliphatischer, cycloaliphatischer, aromatischer und/oder heterocyclischer Natur sein und gegebenenfalls durch Halogenatome substituiert und/oder ungesättigt sein. Als Beispiele hierfür seien genannt: Bernstein-, Adipin-, Kork-, Azelain-, Sebacin-, Phthal-, Terephthal-, Isophthal-, Trimellit-, Pyromellit-, Tetrahydrophthal-, Hexahydrophthal-, Hexahydroterephthal-, Di- und Tetrachlorphthal-, Endomethylentetrahydrophthal-, Glutar-, Malein- und Fumarsäure bzw. - so weit zugänglich - deren Anhydride, Terephthalsäuredimethylester, Terephthalsäure-bis-glykolester, weiterhin cyclische Monocarbonsäure, wie Benzoesäure, p-tert.-Butylbenzoesäure oder Hexahydrobenzoesäure.
Als mehrwertige Alkohole kommen z. B. Ethylenglykol, 1 ,2- und 1 ,3-Propylenglykol, 1 ,4- und 2,3-Butylenglykol, Di-ß-hydroxyethylbutandiol, 1 ,6-Hexandiol, 1 ,8- Octandiol, Neopentylglykol, Cyclohexandiol, Bis-(1 ,4-hydroxymethyl)-propan, 2-Methylpropandiol-1 ,3. 2-Methylpentandiol-1 ,5, 2,2,4(2,4,4)-Trimethylhexandiol-1 ,6, Glycerin, Trimethylolpropan, Trimethylolethan, Hexantriol-1 ,2,6, Butantriol-1 ,2,4, Tris-(ß-hydroxyethyl)-isocyanurat, Pentaerythrit, Mannit und Sorbit sowie Diethylenglykol, Triethylenglykol, Tetraethylenglykol, Dipropylenglykol, Polypropylenglykol, Polybutylenglykol, Xylylenglykol und Hydroxypivalinsäureneopentylglykolester zur Herstellung des Polyesters E) infrage.
Auch Mono- und Polyester aus Lactonen, z. B. ε-Caprolacton oder Hydroxycarbonsäuren, z. B. Hydroxypivalinsäure, ε-Hydroxydecansäure, ε-Hydroxycapronsäure, Thioglykolsäure, können als Ausgangsstoffe für die Herstellung der Polymere E eingesetzt werden. Polyester aus den oben genannten Polycarbonsäuren bzw. deren Derivaten und Polyphenolen, wie Hydrochinon,
Bisphenol-A, 4,4'-Dihydroxybiphenyl oder Bis-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-sulfon; Polyester der Kohlensäure, die aus Hydrochinon, Diphenylolpropan, p-Xylylenglykol, Ethylenglykol, Butandiol oder Hexandiol-1 ,6 und anderen Polyolen durch übliche Kondensationsreaktionen, z. B. mit Phosgen oder Diethyl- bzw. Diphenylcarbonat, oder aus cyclischen Carbonaten, wie Glykolcarbonat oder Vinylidencarbonat, durch Polymerisation in bekannter Weise erhältlich sind; Polyester der Kieselsäure, Polyester der Phosphorsäure, z. B. aus Methan-, Ethan-, ß-Chlorethan-, Benzoloder Styrolphosphorsäure-, -phosphorsäurechlorid oder -phosphorsäureester und Polyalkoholen oder Polyphenolen der oben genannten Art; Polyester der Borsäure; Polysiloxane, wie z. B. die durch Hydrolyse von Dialkyldichlorsilanen mit Wasser und nachfolgende Behandlung mit Polyalkoholen, die durch Anlagerung von Polysiloxandihydriden an Olefinen, wie Allylalkohol oder Acrylsäure, erhältlichen Produkte, sind geeignet als Ausgangsstoffe für die Herstellung des Polymers E).
Bevorzugte Polyester E) sind z. B. auch die Reaktionsprodukte von
Polycarbonsäuren und Glycidverbindungen, wie sie z. B. in der DE-OS 24 10 513 beschrieben sind.
Beispiele für Glycidylverbindungen, die verwendet werden können, sind Ester des 2,3-Epoxy-1 -propanols mit monobasischen Säuren, die 4 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatome haben, wie Glycidylpalmitat, Glycidyllaurat und Glycidylstearat, Alkylenoxide mit 4 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie Butylenoxid, und Glycidylether, wie Octylglycidylether.
Die Polyester E) können auf an sich bekannte Weise durch Kondensation in einer Inertgasatmosphäre bei Temperaturen von 100 bis 260 °C, vorzugsweise 130 bis 220 °C, in der Schmelze oder in azeotroper Fahrweise gewonnen werden, wie es z. B. in Methoden der Organischen Chemie (Houben-Weyl); Band 14/2, Seiten 1 bis 5, 21 bis 23, 40 bis 44, Georg Thieme Verlag, Stuttgart, 1963, oder bei C. R. Martens, Alkyd Resins, Seiten 51 bis 59, Reinhold Plastics Appl. Series, Reinhold Publishing Comp., New York, 1961 , beschrieben ist.
Als Polymere E) kommen außerdem hydroxyfunktionelle Polyether und Polycarbonate in Betracht. Bevorzugte Polyether können z. B. durch Polyaddition von Epoxiden, wie Ethylenoxid, Propylenoxid, Butylenoxid, Trimethylenoxid, 3,3-Bis- (chlormethyl)-oxabicyclobutan, Tetrahydrofuran, Styroloxid oder dem Bis-(2,5)- epoxypropylether des Diphenylolpropans, durch kationische Polymerisation in Gegenwart von Lewissäuren, wie z. B. Bortrifluorid, oder durch anionische Polymerisation mit Alkalihydroxiden oder Alkalialkoholaten oder durch Anlagerung dieser Epoxide, gegebenenfalls im Gemisch oder nacheinander, an Startkomponenten mit reaktionsfähigen Wasserstoffatomen, wie Alkohole oder Amine, z. B. Wasser, Ethylenglykol, Polypropylenglykol-(1 ,3) oder -(1 ,2),
Pentamethylenglykol, Hexandiol, Decamethylenglykol, Trimethylolpropan, Glycerin, Anilin, Ammoniak, Ethanolamin, Ethylendiamin, Di-(ß-hydroxypropyl)-methylamin sowie hydroxyalkylierte Phenole, wie z. B. Di-(ß-hydroxyethoxy)-resorcin, hergestellt werden.
Beispielhaft genannte Polymere E), die Carbonatgruppen aufweisen, können bekanntermaßen durch Umsetzung der beispielhaft genannten zweiwertigen oder dreiwertigen Alkohole des Molekulargewichtsbereichs 62 bis 300 mit Diarylcarbonaten, wie z. B. Diphenylcarbonat, Phosgen oder bevorzugt cyclischen Carbonaten, wie z. B. Trimethylencarbonat oder 2,2-Dimethyl-trimethylencarbonat (NPC) oder Gemischen solcher cyclischen Carbonate erhalten werden. Besonders bevorzugte Carbonatdiole sind solche, die aus den genannten zweiwertigen Alkoholen als Startermoleküle und NPC unter Ringöffnung hergestellt werden können.
Als Polymere E) sind auch z. B. die in der Polyurethanchemie an sich bekannten Polythioether, Polyacetale, Polyepoxide, Polyesteramide oder Polyurethane des Molekulargewichtsbereichs 250 bis 8500 g/mol, welche gegenüber Isocyanatgruppen reaktionsfähige Hydroxylgruppen aufweisen, geeignet.
Selbstverständlich können auch Mischungen der vorgenannten Polymere E)
verwendet werden.
Als monomere Alkohole E) eignen sich Mono-, Di- oder Polyole des Molekulargewichts von mindestens 32.
Beispielsweise handelt es sich bei den Monoalkoholen um Methanol, Ethanol, n-Propanol, Isopropanol, n-Butanol, Isobutanol, sec-Butanol, die isomeren Pentanole, Hexanole, Octanole und Nonanole, n-Decanol, n-Dodecanol, n-Tetradecanol, n-Hexadecanol, n-Octadecanol, Cyclohexanol, die isomeren Methylcyclohexanole sowie Hydroxymethylcyclohexan.
Bei den Diolen handelt es sich beispielweise um Ethylenglykol, Triethylenglykol, Butandiol-1 ,4, Pentandiol-1 ,5, Hexandiol-1 ,6, 3-Methylpentandiol-1 ,5, Neopentylglykol, 2,2,4 (2,4,4)-Trimethylhexandiol sowie Hydroxypivalinsäureneopentylglykolester.
Bei den Triolen handelt es sich beispielweise um Trimethylolpropan, Dithmethylolpropan, Trimethylolethan, Hexanthol-1 ,2,6, Butanthol-1 ,2,4, Tris(ß- Hydroxyethyl)-isocyanurat, Pentaerythrit, Mannit oder Sorbit.
Für alle Hydroxylgruppen haltige Komponenten E) gilt: Das Äquivalenzverhältnis von A) zu E), also das Verhältnis von NCO/OH Gruppen > 1 , bevorzugt NCO/OH >1 ,5, falls E) vorhanden.
Für die Zusammensetzungen können Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe F) wie Verlaufsmittel, z. B. Polysilicone oder Acrylate, Lichtschutzmittel z. B. sterisch gehinderte Amine, oder andere Hilfsmittel, wie sie z. B. in EP 669 353 beschrieben wurden, in einer Gesamtmenge von 0,05 bis 5 Gew.-% zugesetzt werden. Füllstoffe und Pigmente wie z. B. Titandioxid können in einer Menge bis zu 50 Gew.-% der Gesamtzusammensetzung zugesetzt werden.
Optional können zusätzliche Katalysatoren, wie sie in der Polyurethanchemie bereits
bekannt sind, enthalten sein. Es handelt sich hierbei hauptsächlich um metallorganischen Katalysatoren, wie z. B. Dibutylzinndilaurat, oder aber tertiäre Amine, wie z. B. 1 ,4-Diazabicylco[2,2,2,]octan, in Mengen von 0,001 -1 Gew.-%.
Als Lösemittel G) kommen alle flüssigen unter den Reaktionsbedingungen inerten organischen und anorganischen Flüssigkeiten in Frage. Als Beispiele seien genannt Aceton, Ethylacetat, Butylacetat, XyIoI, Solvesso 100, Solvesso 150, Methoxypropylacetat und Dibasicester.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der reaktiven
Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Zusammensetzungen durch Homogenisierung bei Temperaturobergrenzen von 120 bis 130 °C.
Die Homogenisierung aller Bestandteile zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzung kann in geeigneten Aggregaten, wie z. B. beheizbaren Rührkesseln, Knetern, oder auch Extrudern, erfolgen, wobei Temperaturobergrenzen von 120 bis 130 °C nicht überschritten werden sollten. Bei den festen Formulierungen kann das Auftragen von sprühfertigen Pulvern auf geeignete Substrate nach den bekannten Verfahren, wie z. B. durch elektrostatisches Pulversprühen, Wirbelsintern, oder elektrostatisches Wirbelsintern erfolgen. Nach dem Auftrag werden die beschichteten Werkstücke zur Aushärtung 4 bis 60 Minuten auf eine Temperatur von 60 bis 220 °C, vorzugsweise 6 bis 30 Minuten bei 80 bis 160 0C erhitzt.
Ein weiterer Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen reaktiven Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen als Beschichtungsmittel, insbesondere als Primer, Zwischenschicht, Decklack, Klarlack, Klebstoff oder Dichtmaterial sowie die Beschichtungsmittel selbst.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist auch die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen reaktiven Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Zusammensetzungen zur Herstellung von
flüssigen und pulverförmigen Lackbeschichtungen auf Metall-, Kunststoff-, Glas-, Holz-, Textil-, MDF- (Middle Density Fiber Boards) oder Ledersubstraten oder sonstigen hitzeresistenten Untergründen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist auch die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen reaktiven Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Zusammensetzungen als Klebstoffzusammensetzungen für Verklebungen von Metall-, Kunststoff-, Glas-, Holz-, Textil-, MDF- (Middle Density Fiber Boards) oder Ledersubstraten oder sonstigen hitzeresistenten Untergründen.
Ebenfalls Gegenstand der Erfindung sind Metallbeschichtungszusammensetzungen, insbesondere für Automobilkarossen, Motor- und Fahrräder, Gebäudeteile und Haushaltsgeräte, Holzbeschichtungszusammensetzungen, Glasbeschichtungszusammensetzungen, Textilbeschichtungszusammensetzungen Lederbeschichtungszusammensetzungen und
Kunststoffbeschichtungszusammensetzungen welche die erfindungsgemäßen reaktiven Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Zusammensetzungen enthalten.
Die Beschichtung kann entweder allein verwendet werden, oder eine Schicht eines Mehrschichtaufbaus sein. Sie kann beispielsweise als Primer, als Zwischenschicht oder als Deck- oder Klarlack aufgetragen sein. Die über oder unter der Beschichtung liegenden Schichten können entweder konventionell thermisch ausgehärtet werden, oder aber auch durch Strahlung.
Nachfolgend wird der Gegenstand der Erfindung anhand von Beispielen näher erläutert.

II. Herstellung des NCO-Prepolymers
Der OH-Polyester DYNACOLL 7150 (191 g) wurde in 150 ml eines Gemisches aus Butylacetat (BA) und XyIoI (1 : 1 ) gelöst und mit 0,02 g DBTL versetzt. Diese Mischung wurde bei 80 °C innerhalb von 30 min in 31 ,7g IPDI getropft. Man ließ noch 1 ,5 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur rühren und kühlte dann ab. Der NCO- Gehalt betrug dann 1 ,6 %.

IV. Resultate
Alle Formulierungsbestandteile werden zusammengegeben und 20 min mittels eines Magnetrührers gerührt.
Die gebrauchsfähige Formulierung wird auf Stahlbleche, (Bonder Bleche 1303) in einer Schichtdicke von 20-25 μm aufgerakelt und in einem Umluftofen bei 150 °C (30 min) ausgehärtet.

Claims
1. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen im Wesentlichen enthaltend A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %,
B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder quarternäres Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %, C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 5 %.
2. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese mindestens zusätzlich eine der folgenden Komponenten enthält
D) mindestens eine Säure in monomerer oder polymerer Form in einem
Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,01 bis 20 % E) Hydroxylgruppen haltige Verbindungen, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,5 bis 70 %,
F) Hilfs- und Zusatzstoffe, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,001 bis 50 %,
G) Lösemittel, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 1 bis 70 %.
3. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzung nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente A) Verbindungen ausgewählt aus Isophorondiisocyanat (IPDI), Hexamethylendiisocyanat (HDI), 2,2'- Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat/
2,4'- Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat/ 4,4'- Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat (H12MDI), 2-Methylpentandiisocyanat (MPDI), 2,2,4-Trimethylhexamethylendiisocyanat/2,4,4-
Trimethylhexamethylendiisocyanat (TMDI), Norbornandiisocyanat (NBDI), Methylendiphenyldiisocyanat (MDI), Toluidindiisocyanat (TDI) und/oder
Tetramethylxylylendiisocyanat (TMXDI) enthalten sind.
4. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente A) IPDI, 4,4'H12MDI und/oder HDI enthalten sind.
5. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen A) mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen haltigen Monomeren und/oder Polymeren zu Isocyanatgruppen haltigen Prepolymeren A) umgesetzt werden, wobei das Verhältnis von NCO/OH Gruppen >1 ist.
6. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Polymere ausgewählt aus Polyestern, Polythioethern, Polyethern, Polycaprolactamen, Polyepoxiden, Polyesteramiden, Polyamiden,
Polyetheraminen, Polyurethanen eingesetzt werden.
7. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Polyester mit einer OH-Zahl von 30 bis 250 mg KOH/g und einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von 250 bis 6000 g/mol eingesetzt werden.
8. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Di-, Tri- und/oder Tetraalkohole, Monoamine und/oder Monoalkohole eingesetzt werden.

Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Ethylenglykol, Propandiol-(1 ,2) und -(1 ,3), 2,2-Dimethylpropandiol-(1 ,3), Butandiol-(1 ,4), Hexandiol-(1 ,6), 2-Methylpentandiol-1 ,5, 2,2,4- Trimethylhexandiol-(1 ,6), 2,4,4-Trimethylhexandiol-(1 ,6), Heptandiol-(1 ,7), Dodecandiol-(1 ,12), Octadecen-9,10-diol-(1 ,12), Thiodiglykol, Octadecandiol- (1 ,18), 2,4-Di-methyl-2-propylheptandiol-(1 ,3), Diethylenglykol, Triethylenglykol,
Tetraethylenglykol, trans- und cis-1 ,4-Cyclo-hexandimethanol, allein oder in Mischungen eingesetzt werden.
10. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Isocyanurate, Allophanate, Harnstoffe, Biurete und/oder Carbodiimide in A) enthalten sind.
11. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Katalysatoren B) ausgewählt aus Tetramethylammoniumformiat, Tetramethylammoniunnacetat, Tetramethylammoniumpropionat, Tetramethylammoniumbutyrat, Tetramethylammoniumbenzoat, Tetramethylammoniumhydroxid, Tetraethylammoniumformiat,

12. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch
1 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente B) Tetraethylammoniumbenzoat und/oder
Tetrabutylammoniumhydroxid enthalten sind.
13. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente C) Glycidylether und Glycidylester, aliphatische Epoxide, Diglycidylether auf Basis Bisphenol A und/oder Glycidylmethacrylate enthalten sind.
14. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch
13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Triglycidylisocyanurat, Gemische aus Terephthalsäurediglycidylester und
Trimelitsäuretriglycidylester, Glycidylester der Versatiesäure, 3,4- Epoxycyclohexylmethyl-3',4'-epoxycylohexancarboxylat (ECC), Diglycidylether auf Basis Bisphenol A, Ethylhexylglycidylether, Butylglycidylether, Pentaerythrittetraglycidylether, oder andere Polypoxtypen mit freien Epoxygruppen, allein oder in Mischungen enthalten sind.
15. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente D) Schwefelsäure, Essigsäure, Benzoesäure, Malonsäure, Terephthalsäure, Phtalsäure, Copolyester und/oder Copolyamide mit einer Säurezahl von mindestens 20 enthalten sind.
16. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente E) Polyester, Polyether, Polyacrylate, Polyurethane, Polyether und/oder Polycarbonate mit einer OH-Zahl von 20 bis 500 mg
KOH/Gramm und einer mittleren Molmasse von 250 bis 6000 g/mol enthalten sind.
17. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente E) Hydroxylgruppen haltige Polyester mit einer OH-Zahl von 20 bis 150 und einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von 500 bis 6000 g/mol enthalten sind.
18. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente E) Reaktionsprodukte von Polycarbonsäuren und Glycidverbindungen enthalten sind.
19. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente E) Polythioether, Polyacetale, Polyepoxide, Polyesteramide und/oder Polyurethane des Molekulargewichtsbereichs 250 bis

20. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Komponente E) Mono-, Di- und/oder Polyole des Molekulargewichts von mindestens 32 g/mol enthalten sind.
21. Reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Äquivalenzverhältnis von A) zu E), also das Verhältnis von NCO/OH Gruppen > 1 , bevorzugt NCO/OH >1 ,5 beträgt.
22. Verfahren zur Herstellung von reaktiven Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Zusammensetzungen im Wesentlichen enthaltend
A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %,
B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder quarternäres Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen
Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %,
C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 5 %, durch Homogenisierung bei Temperaturobergrenzen von 120 bis 130 °C.
23. Verwendung von reaktiven Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden
Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche 1 bis
21 aus reaktiven Isocyanatgruppen aufweisenden Zusammensetzungen im
Wesentlichen enthaltend
A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen
Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %, B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder quarternäres
Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %,
C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis
5 %, als Beschichtungsmittel.
24. Verwendung nach Anspruch 23 als Primer, Zwischenschicht, Decklack, Klarlack oder Dichtmaterial.
25. Verwendung nach Anspruch 23 oder 24 zur Herstellung von Lack- und Klebstoffzusammensetzungen für Metall, Kunststoff, Holz, Textilien, Glas, Leder, MDF- (Middle Density Fiber Boards) oder sonstige hitzeresistente Untergründe.
26. Beschichtungsmittel enthaltend reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen nach mindestens einem der vorherigen Ansprüche 1 bis 21 aus
A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen
Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %, B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder quarternäres
Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %, C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis
5 %.
27. Metallbeschichtungszusammensetzung, im Wesentlichen enthaltend reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen aus A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %,
B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder quarternäres Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %, C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 5 %.
28. Holzbeschichtungszusammensetzung, im Wesentlichen enthaltend reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen aus A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %,
B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder quarternäres Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %, C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 5 %.
29. Lederbeschichtungszusammensetzung oder Textilbeschichtungszusammensetzung, im Wesentlichen enthaltend reaktive
Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen aus
A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %.
B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %, C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %.
30. Kunststoffbeschichtungszusammensetzung oder
Glasbeschichtungszusammensetzungen, im Wesentlichen enthaltend reaktive Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Zusammensetzungen aus
A) mindestens eine Isocyanatgruppen aufweisende Verbindung, basierend auf aromatischen, aliphatischen, (cyclo)aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten und/oder Polyisocyanaten, deren NCO-Grupppen gegebenenfalls teilweise mit Hydroxylgruppen und/oder Amingruppen aufweisenden Verbindungen umgesetzt sind, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 10 bis 99,8 %,
B) mindestens ein quarternäres Ammoniumsalz und/oder quarternäres Phosphoniumsalz mit Halogenen oder organischen oder anorganischen
Säureanionen oder Hydroxid als Gegenion als Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 3 %,
C) mindestens eine Verbindung, die Epoxidgruppen trägt, als Co-Katalysator, in einem Gewichtsanteil, bezogen auf die Gesamtformulierung, von 0,1 bis 5 %.
31. Metallbeschichtungszusammensetzung nach Anspruch 27 für
Automobilkarossen, Motor- und Fahrräder, Gebäudeteile und Haushaltsgeräte.
32. Beschichtungszusammensetzungen nach einem der Ansprüche 27 bis 31 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens eine der Komponenten D) bis G) enthalten ist.
33. Beschichtungszusammensetzungen nach einem der Ansprüche 27 bis 32, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese Verbindungen nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 21 enthalten.
