Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tripping device for devices for rescuing or to the position display of persons in avalanches as well as to reduce the degree of burial of persons detected by avalanches, which can be triggered by manual operation.
  • avalanche rescue equipment Various devices for rescuing persons in avalanches (also referred to below as avalanche rescue equipment) are already known. Furthermore, various devices are known which indicate the position of a person buried by an avalanche.
  • An avalanche rescue device is for example in the German patent specification P 32 37 060 described, which has a rescue backpack with two chambers in each of which a balloon is located, which is filled by means of a gas-air mixture originating from compressed gas cylinders.
  • the inflated balloons cause the user, when entrained in an avalanche, to lift in this avalanche and to be carried virtually to the surface of the avalanche.
  • avalanche ball a device that the user straps over his backpack. If this device is triggered, then a construction is separated, which spans mechanically like a lantern. Attached to this lantern is a longer avalanche cord, which in turn is connected to the user. As this lantern floats in an avalanche in the snow, The aim is to enable rapid optical detection of an avalanche victim.
  • triggering is understood to mean the actuation of an avalanche rescue device or a device for indicating the position of persons in avalanches, whereby the corresponding device is brought into a state in which it can exercise its rescue function or its position display function.
  • the affected person has already been hit by an avalanche and / or has already fallen, then in the dynamics of the avalanche that floods into the valley, it must also be able to trigger self-activation or self-activation.
  • Object of the present invention is to show a way how a foreign triggering an avalanche rescue device or a device for the position display of persons in avalanches in a controlled manner by another person can be effected.
  • a triggering device for the devices of the type in question which has a radio device which is equipped with a power supply, a transmitter, a receiver, a data processing device and optionally an antenna and from the radio at least one further triggering device Radio signal to actuate the own trigger device can receive, wherein the radio device is either an integral part of the triggering device or an additional separate, but functionally connected thereto or releasably connectable component.
  • the triggering device is equipped with an actuating device which can cause a foreign operation of its own triggering device upon receipt of a radio signal.
  • This tripping device must be able to receive a radio signal emitted by the radio device of another tripping device with the aid of its own radio device, so that an operation of the device equipped with this tripping device and thus of the device associated therewith is controlled by a third party Person (foreign operation) is enabled.
  • the actuating device Upon receipt of this radio signal, the actuating device is thus activated, if permitted according to the selected circuit states / functional states, whereby the device associated with the tripping device is actuated without any manual actuation of the tripping device.
  • the tripping device or radio device is designed such that it can transmit a radio signal to at least one further tripping device for actuating the latter tripping device.
  • the radio device of the tripping device according to the invention must thus be able to send to the corresponding radio device of a further tripping device a radio signal for external operation of the other, further tripping device.
  • the tripping device or radio device can have or assume at least the following circuit states / functional states.
  • the own triggering device is actuated in manual operation.
  • a radio signal is transmitted to a further triggering device and thus to another device.
  • circuit state a1) or a2) it is thus always possible for the person carrying the corresponding triggering device to carry out an independent operation and thus to actuate or trigger the triggering device carried by this person.
  • the radio device can preferably also assume a circuit state b2) in addition to the circuit state b1).
  • a third-party operation of the own triggering device is not possible by a radio signal obtained from a further triggering device.
  • another triggering device emits a radio signal to the foreign operation, then this signal in the circuit state b2) is not considered.
  • the radio device of the tripping device according to the invention may be an integral part of this tripping device or an additional separate, but functionally connected or releasably connectable component.
  • the triggering device preferably constitutes a handle in which not only the functional parts which serve for the manual actuation of this triggering device but also those elements which are functionally associated with the radio device are accommodated.
  • the latter include the transmitter, the receiver, the power supply and the associated switches and lines.
  • An antenna may, if necessary, be integrated into or connected to the triggering device.
  • the radio is configured separately, then it is expediently connected with a cable to the triggering device.
  • the triggering device is preferably a handle.
  • said cable is an electrical line for controlling the actuator, optionally a line for powering the actuator and conveniently the antenna.
  • This separate radio device or electronics box can thus be secured at some distance from the triggering device of this on the user's body or on a part associated with the device, for example on a tether.
  • the hose is removable from both the triggering device and the radio device and can be reconnected to it. In this way, one can bring the triggering device according to the invention without a radio device for use, for example, when a radio operation of another triggering device is not required and / or desired.
  • a data processing device which also controls the optional optical display devices and other regulatory tasks.
  • a data processing device may, for example, be a chip programmed according to the needs. The production and programming of such chips is known, so that further discussion is unnecessary.
  • the radio-controlled actuating device of the radio device or triggering device according to the invention is expediently to actuate those functional parts which are moved and / or actuated during manual actuation by the supply of "manual energy" by electrical or by pressurized air or other pneumatic means ,
  • This actuating device is preferably arranged in the triggering device.
  • the triggering device also includes a sensor operatively connected to the data processing device which detects when the triggering device is self-actuated. The sensor transmits this information to the data processing device, which then transmits a radio signal to the radio device of a further triggering device depending on the set circuit state or not.
  • the tripping devices of the various persons of the tour are brought into the desired circuit state. So it makes sense, for example, that the mountain guide, as soon as he actuates a self-actuation and thus his own triggering device and thus his own device, so also simultaneously actuates the triggering devices of some or all of the persons he leads and thus for these persons a foreign Actuation effected. After all, the mountain guide has the most experience and is the best judge of the situation.
  • the self-actuation can simultaneously trigger the external actuation of the triggering devices of the avalanche victims. It is irrelevant that his own device is triggered. This has to be taken into account, since the manual self-actuation of the own triggering device must always lead to an actuation of the device associated with the triggering device.
  • the triggering device of the guide should take the switching state b2), so that the device of the guide is not caused by a faulty self-actuation of the triggering device of a guided by the guide person.
  • the radio device of the mountain guide is therefore preferably in the circuit states a1) and b2).
  • the radio devices of the person guided by him are preferably in the circuit states a1) and b1).
  • the tripping device or radio device of the tripping device according to the invention with a first switch, with the two circuit states a1) and a2) can be adjusted, and with a second switch, with the two circuit states b1) and b2) are set can, equipped.

  • the tripping device or radio device of the tripping device according to the invention is equipped with a pressure switch.
  • the existing in the triggering device data processing device or the existing chip can be programmed.
  • the selected circuit states are preferably indicated by the position of the switches and / or by an optical display device, such as light source such as LED.
  • the triggering device or radio device is equipped with a securing means which is able to block the switches in the set position.
  • the switch position can only be changed by loosening the securing means.
  • Such securing means may be mechanical or electrical or electronic in nature, for example a code that may be entered.
  • the radio device can receive a first additional radio signal from another radio device which is not part of another trip device but represents a separate element from a tripping device, for example in a helicopter or a mountain hut, and from a suitable one Person is actuated as soon as this person believes that a foreign operation of a triggering device is displayed. This may be the case, for example, if that person observed or feared an avalanche departure and the avalanche rescue equipment members of a tour group and / or the mountain guides had not yet recognized this departure or a corresponding danger.
  • the radio device is equipped in this case such that a third-party operation takes place independently of the circuit state b1) or b2).
  • This can be achieved by selecting a frequency for this first supplementary radio signal which differs from the frequencies used by the radio devices and the other radio device for blocking the blockade.
