Claims (10)

  1. Carter applicable à des moteurs à combustion ou à des boîtes de vitesses, et
    - le carter est une tôle mise en forme par emboutissage profond et il comporte un bord renforcé par lequel il se monte sur le moteur à combustion ou la boîte de vitesses avec interposition d'un joint,
    - le renforcement comporte au moins une pièce métallique (2), séparée,
    caractérisé en ce que
    la pièce métallique (2) est fixée au carter par déformation du bord (3) du carter par une liaison par la forme et/ ou par la force.
  2. Carter selon la revendication 1,
    caractérisé en ce que
    la pièce métallique (2) est réalisée de façon bombée au moins dans certaines zones non directement adjacentes au carter, de façon que le carter (1) soit serré par un appui linéaire par les moyens de fixation (6) aux zones de forme bombée, contre le moteur à combustion ou la boîte de vitesses avec interposition de moyens d'étanchéité (4).
  3. Carter selon l'une des revendications précédentes,
    caractérisé en ce que
    la pièce métallique (2) a une section circulaire.
  4. Carter selon l'une des revendications précédentes,
    caractérisé en ce que
    la pièce métallique (2) est en un acier rond, cintré et le carter est en tôle d'acier.
  5. Carter selon l'une des revendications précédentes,
    caractérisé en ce que
    la pièce métallique (2) est une pièce de forme, coulée, et le carter (1) est en tôle d'acier.
  6. Procédé de fabrication d'un carter appliqué à des moteurs à combustion ou des boîtes de vitesses, le carter étant en tôle mise en forme par emboutissage profond et il comporte un bord renforcé à l'aide duquel, il est appliqué à l'état monté contre le moteur à combustion ou la boîte de vitesses avec interposition d'un joint d'étanchéité, selon lequel
    - on préforme tout d'abord le carter (1) en tôle métallique par une ou plusieurs étapes d'usinage par emboutissage profond,
    - indépendamment de ces opérations, on réalise au moins une pièce métallique (2) par un procédé de fabrication par mise en forme pour donner sa forme à la pièce métallique (2),
    - sa forme correspondant au moins en partie au tracé futur du bord du carter (1),
    caractérisé en ce qu'
    - on place la pièce métallique (2) et le carter préformé (1) dans une matrice, et
    - au cours de la suite du procédé de transformation, on forme le bord du carter (1) autour de la pièce métallique (2) de façon à réaliser une liaison par la force ou par la forme entre le carter (1) et la pièce métallique (2).
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 6,
    caractérisé en ce qu'
    on réalise la liaison par la force ou par la forme entre la pièce métallique (2) et le carter (1), au cours d'une autre étape d'emboutissage profond.
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 6,
    caractérisé en ce qu'
    on génère la liaison par la force ou par la forme entre la pièce métallique (2) et le carter (1), en rabattant le bord du carter autour de la pièce métallique.
  9. Procédé selon la revendication 6,
    caractérisé en ce que
    le procédé de fabrication par mise en forme pour réaliser la pièce métallique (2) est un procédé de cintrage.
  10. Procédé selon la revendication 6,
    caractérisé en ce que
    le procédé de fabrication de mise en forme pour réaliser la pièce métallique (2) est un procédé de coulée.
