Definitions

  • the invention relates to an antenna mount for mounting on a provided with an opening body part of a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1, and an antenna with such a holder according to the preamble of claim 11.
  • Roof antennas of motor vehicles are usually designed as rod antennas and have a fixed to the roof of the motor vehicle antenna mount, in which the rod antenna itself is fixed or detachably mounted.
  • Known antenna mounts such as the antenna mount one in the DE 102 33 065 A1 described antenna arrangement, generally have a arranged in the interior of the motor vehicle between the inside and underside of the roof and the headliner extended foot and an integrally connected to the foot part and projecting beyond the foot part anchoring part whose outer cross section is smaller than the opening cross section of the opening is so that it can be inserted from the inside through the opening during assembly of the holder.
  • the anchoring part is usually provided with an external thread on which after passing through the opening from the outside, a fastening or lock nut can be screwed to counter the fitting from the inside against the roof foot and the roof between the foot and the threaded nut clamp.
  • the antenna holder according to the invention with the features mentioned in claim 1 has the advantage that the parts required for mounting the antenna mount parts can be assembled into a single unit, whereby the logistics and handling easier before installation and the time required for the assembly itself is reduced.
  • the height of the antenna holder can be kept very small inside the motor vehicle with the inventive solution.
  • the invention is based on the idea that anchored by spreading the arms of an anchoring claw on the body part antenna mount from the antenna to the opposite side of the body part does not need to be countered, so that the previously required for this purpose lock nut is unnecessary.
  • a particularly firm anchoring of the antenna attitude on the body part is achieved when the expansion element bends according to a preferred embodiment of the invention as it approaches the antenna base, the arms of the anchoring claw, so that their free ends beyond the outer cross section of the remaining anchoring arrangement and with one of the antenna base opposite surface of the body part can engage to clamp the body part between the extended antenna base and pointing in the direction of the antenna base free ends of the arms.
  • the actuating member is preferably a screw, which also holds together the components of the anchoring arrangement in the preassembled state.
  • a further preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the screw is screwed through an opening in the spreader and in the anchoring claw into an internal thread in the antenna and rests with its extended head against the spreader to this when tightening the screw towards the antenna base pull.
  • the anchor assembly is then inserted from one side, in roof antennas from the outside of the vehicle, through the opening in the body part, while the screw from the opposite side, in roof antennas from the interior of the vehicle forth, tightened.
  • the antenna holder is expediently provided with a fixing aid with which it can be prefixed after passing the anchoring arrangement through the opening with respect to the body part, so that the antenna holder does not reappear as a result of an axial pressing force applied when tightened on the screw moved out of the opening.
  • the fixing aid expediently consists of a preassembled metallic spring clip whose legs are provided with latching projections which engage behind the body part after the passage of the anchoring arrangement through the opening, however, the anchoring arrangement could alternatively also comprise integrally formed elastic latching tongues made of plastic.
  • a further preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the expansion element has a plurality of complementary to the arms of the anchoring claw spreader arms, as well as the arms of the anchoring claw in guides the anchoring arrangement and preferably in guides of a rigidly connected to the antenna base part of the base Anchoring arrangement are performed.
  • the spreader arms preferably have curved surfaces diverging from the antenna base on their sides adjacent to the arms of the anchoring claw, along which the arms of the anchoring claw move as they bend to give them the desired shape as they are deformed.
  • these arms may have a cross-sectional constriction that is conveniently located at or near their base.
  • the antenna holder 2 shown in the drawing is used for mounting a roof antenna (not shown) on a roof 4 ( Fig. 2 ) of a motor vehicle, which is provided at the intended location for mounting the antenna with an outline square opening 6.
  • the antenna holder 2 comprises a provided for mounting outside the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle extended antenna base 8, a protruding over a bottom 10 of the antenna base 8 pre-assembled anchor assembly 12 whose cross-sectional dimensions are smaller than the cross-sectional dimensions of the opening 6 so that they are in the assembly of the Antenna mount 2 can be inserted from the outside of the roof 4 through the opening 6, and a fixing aid 14 (FIG. Fig. 3 ), with the aid of which the antenna holder 2 can be provisionally fixed after the passage of the anchoring arrangement 12 through the opening 6 within the opening 6, so that it does not have to be held until the final anchoring.
  • the preassembled anchoring arrangement 12 comprises a base part 16 projecting beyond the underside of the antenna base 8 and connected in one piece with the antenna base 8, a lower part of which is inserted into a recess 18 (FIG. Fig.
  • the antenna base 8 consists essentially of a flat circular base plate 30 and attached to the top of the base plate 30 reinforcing member 32 which forms part of a holder for the Fixier Anlagen 14 and extending through the base plate 30 through threaded bore 34 (FIGS. Fig. 4 ) for the screw 26 has.
  • the foot plate 30 is provided on its underside with a plurality of foam pads 36 which are intended to prevent scratching of the paint on the outside of the roof 4 around the opening 6 during assembly of the antenna holder 2.
  • the base part 16 of the anchoring arrangement 12 connected in one piece with the antenna base 8 and produced thereon by plastic injection molding has, adjacent to the base plate 30, a square outer cross section 38 adapted to the opening cross section of the opening 6, so that the base part 16 projects into the opening 6 fits and is secured in this against twisting.
  • the base part 16 further has two on outer sides arranged outwardly open-edged recesses 40 (FIG. Fig. 4 ), each with an opposite edge portion of the opening 6 a passage for each two in Fig. 1 and 2 limit illustrated antenna cable 41 of the antenna.
  • the base part 16 On the other two outer sides of the base part 16 is also provided with two outwardly open recesses 42, in each of which one of two resiliently flexible legs 44 of the fixing 14 extends.
  • the base part 16 In the middle, the base part 16 is provided with the recess 18, which is downwardly open from the foot plate 30, into which the anchoring claw 20 is inserted so as to engage with a flat annular central part 46 with external square against a complementary front end 50 of the recess 18 supported.
  • the circular opening 48 of the central portion 46 of the anchoring claw 20 rests with its inner peripheral edge from the outside against a projecting beyond the front end of the recess 18 cylindrical collar 52 which surrounds the mouth of the threaded bore 34 in the recess 18 to the anchoring claw 20 in Reference to the axis of rotation 54 of the screw 26 to center.
  • the base part 16 is provided with four radial slot openings 56 which extend in the direction of the diagonal of the square outer cross section 38 of the base part 16 and inwardly towards the recess 18, outwardly and from the base plate 30th are open towards the bottom.
  • the four obliquely downwardly and outwardly beyond the central portion 46 protruding and integrally connected to the central portion 46 arms 22 of the anchoring claw 20 are bent slightly S-shaped in their undeformed initial state.
  • the arms 22 have a substantially constant width, but are provided at their base at the transition to the central part 46 with a cross-sectional constriction in the form of two opposite lateral indentations 58, which facilitate bending of the arms 22 with respect to the central part 46.
  • the length and shape of the arms 22 are chosen such that, following preassembly of the anchor assembly 12, the latter are disposed within the slot openings 56 of the base member 16, with their free ends 28 not extending beyond the square outer cross section 38 of the base member 16.
  • the arms 22 Adjacent to their free ends 28, the arms 22 are provided over a part of their length with an indentation 60, so that they have there a concave inside and a convex outside.
  • the free ends 28 of the arms 22 are sharpened so that they press from below into the inside of the roof 4 of the motor vehicle when, after the anchoring of the antenna holder 2 in the in Fig. 2 shown spread and deformed position in which they are directed towards the base plate 30, are pressed against the roof 4.
