Definitions
- the invention relates to a cheese-producing textile machine with a plurality of similar jobs, each having a plurality of functional groups and a workstation computer, which is connected by means of a machine field bus to a central computer.
- Such known by numerous patents textile machines are used for rewinding yarn from cops on cheeses (eg DE 199 05 860 A1 ) or for spinning yarn and winding on cheeses (eg DE 44 04 503 A1 or 101 39 075 A1 ) used.
- the jobs of these textile machines are to a certain extent self-sufficient acting units.
- these units are each designed for connecting, monitoring, clamping, cleaning, paraffinizing and winding of the yarn originating from cops on a cross-wound bobbin and for changing the cops.
- these units are each designed to feed the fibers to the spinning element, to spin the fibers, to wax, monitor and wind up the spun yarn and possibly for piecing.
- the jobs have a variety of functional groups. These may be, for example, sensors or actuators of various types, which serve the fiber supply, the handling of the cops, the yarn and the cheeses.
- the function groups are connected to a workstation's own computer.
- actuators such a functional group also includes a so-called power card, which is coupled to both the workstation computer and to a power supply to operate the actuator.
- stepper motors for controlling magazines with cops such as stepper motors for controlling magazines with cops, conveyors for sliver supply, means for controlling the winding position of the yarn on the cheese, thread connecting devices and associated Fadenzubringern, each cable connections between the workstation computer and the respective function groups and each of the power supply and necessary for the operation of the actuators power cards.
- EP 1 054 086 A1 discloses a cheese-producing textile machine with a plurality of similar jobs, each having a plurality of functional groups and a workstation computer, which is connected by means of a machine field bus to a central computer of the textile machine. Furthermore, the document discloses that the individual component or functional groups of a maintenance device can be connected to the individual control device via a bus system in order to achieve a simplified maintenance device.
- the workstation computer In order to permit subsequent changes to individual functional groups or the integration of further functional groups, the workstation computer must, e.g. be formed with regard to its connection possibilities with regard to future needs, which leads to increased costs. In addition, the cabling of the existing from a variety of jobs textile machine with increasing number of functional groups reaches a very high degree of complexity.
- the object of the invention is to propose a textile machine having a plurality of workstations, whose workstations are flexible with respect to the functional groups to be connected and which require a reduced internal wiring effort.
- the workstation fieldbus can be connected to any function groups with their associated printed circuit board, even if they were not yet planned at the time the workstation computer was designed. Since the transmission of data is via the workstation fieldbus, the number of connections to be made to the workstation computer is independent of the number of workstation users Function groups and depends only on the fieldbus used. If a new function group is added to the workstation or an existing function group is replaced with a technically modified one, this is achieved by simply coupling the function group to the fieldbus, without having to create additional wiring to the workstation computer. This leads not only to increased flexibility but also to a reduced amount of wiring. Due to the low cost, the use of a single-wire fieldbus is considered particularly advantageous, wherein the voltage level should be high enough to ensure a sufficient signal-to-noise ratio.
- the Hästellenfeldbus is designed as a CAN bus.
- the CAN bus is very well suited for use in jobs with regard to its response time and bus length specifications.
- the use of a standard fieldbus system results in low cost due to the high availability of components.
- the Hästellenfeldbus and a power supply line and a ground line within the workplace are assembled together as a cable harness and laid together to facilitate laying. This also reduces the effort when connecting new function groups.
- plug contacts preferably with insulation displacement connectors plugged, which in turn can be easily detachably connected with corresponding plug contacts of the functional groups, that is, in particular the printed circuit board of the respective function group.
- the printed circuit boards of certain functional groups are identical.
- identical printed circuit boards may be used for higher current load or lower current load, respectively.
- the interchangeability of printed circuit boards between different functional groups is possible and reduces the variety of parts.
- the workstation field bus is designed such that a contacting of a bus line of the work station field bus with ground does not lead to a short circuit damage of a field group transmitting function group.
- This is preferably achieved in that the bus is connected to a supply voltage source for the bus voltage via a resistor and the functional groups are designed so that they produce a connection between the bus line and ground during transmission.
- a winding machine which usually has 10 to 60 similar winding units or a spinning machine, such as a rotor spinning machine with up to more than 300 similar spinning stations.
- the single figure shows a schematic view of a part of a textile machine according to the invention with several work stations according to the invention.
- the illustrated textile machine 10 has a central computer 12 which is connected to a machine field bus 14.
- the textile machine 10 has a DC power supply 16.
- a plurality of workstation modules 20 which are respectively connected to the engine field bus 14 and the DC power supply 16.
- the job modules are shown here only schematically and in detail for example the DE 199 05 860 A1 for a winder and the DE 44 04 503 A1 and the DE 101 39 075 A1 for a spinning machine.
- a workstation computer 22 and a transformer 24 are provided, each workstation computer 22 being connected to the machine field bus 14, and each transformer 24 being connected to the DC power supply 16.
- the transformer 24 serves to convert the 275V voltage supplied by the DC power supply 16 to a voltage of 24V required for the control of the workstation module 20.
- each workstation module has schematically represented functional groups 26a to 26e, the number of which could be extended almost arbitrarily.
- these functional groups may be drives for a thread connecting device including cutting and clamping devices for the thread ends, thread feeders such as a gripper tube for the thread fed from the cop and a suction nozzle for the thread retrieved from the cross-wound package, a thread tensioner, a cop changer or a paraffin means for growing the yarn or a drive which controls the laying of the thread along the cheese.
- Other functional groups may also be connected to the workstation computer, valves controlling the pressure in suction tubes or splice channels, and sensors of various types, such as a thread-monitoring cleaner or a yarn tension sensor.
- a spinning machine may be drives of the feed rollers for the sliver feed, take-off rollers for the spun yarn, drives for the spinning means, a suction nozzle for the retrieved from the cheese package thread, a paraffining device and for laying the thread along the cheese.
- valves for example, for compressed air supply to prepare the yarn ends for piecing or sensors form groups of functions.
- the functional groups 26a to 26e are each connected via plug connections 27 to a work station field bus 23, to which the workstation computer 22 is also connected. Furthermore, the functional groups 26a to 26e are each connected to the transformer 24 via a power line 25 and to ground via a ground line 29.
- the power line 25, the ground line 29 and the single-wire Hästellenfeldbus 23 are designed as a harness 30. If the transformer 24 housed in the housing of the workstation computer 22, the wiring harness 30 is guided into the housing. A separate power wiring is not required.
- the textile machine accordingly has a machine field bus 14 and a workstation field bus 23 per workstation.
- This hierarchical structure in which the workstation computer 22 serves each workstation module 20 as an intelligent converter and control unit for the function groups 26a to 26e, allows a particularly flexible adaptation of the workstation modules 20. If in one Workplace module 20 one of the function groups 26a to 26e is exchanged for another, not identical function group or if a completely new function group is added to a jobs module is only necessary to adapt the new function group at any point to the wiring harness 30 and optionally the control program in the workstation 22 adapt. With regard to its hardware, the workstation computer 22 does not have to be adapted to newly added or changed function groups.
- a connector 27 can be mounted at any point of the cable harness 30 by means of insulation displacement connectors and is available for the plug-in contact with the respective function group 26a to 26e or the circuit board of the functional group. This makes it possible to quickly replace defective function groups or printed circuit boards, as well as function-related replacement by other function groups. This flexibility allows for quick changeover of workstations while significantly changing functionality.
- further connectors 27 can be added to the wiring harness 30, allow the additional functional groups.
- the associated printed circuit boards can be of identical design. They have the usual equipment with inputs and outputs for sensors and actuators, connections for controlling, for example Stepper motors and a microprocessor.
- a change in the software either from the central computer 12 via the engine field bus 14 or by "docking" an input device to the workstation computer 22. Thereafter, the specific commands for this purpose and sent to the address of the relevant function group the printed circuit board of the functional group are implemented.
- an identical card of another functional group which is of minor importance for the maintenance of the spinning or winding process and can be dispensed with at least temporarily, can be used instead of the defective card and fulfills the requirements there Function of the defective card in the same way.
