Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a jamb for an elevator, which is mounted on a landing doorway of the elevator.
  • a jamb is disposed inside a landing doorway.
  • the jamb has an upper frame and a pair of vertical frames.
  • Each of the frames has a C-shaped cross-section which opens on an architectural wall side.
  • a plurality of joint boards are mounted on each of the frames on the architectural wall side thereof. Respective openings of the frames are closed by the joint boards at predetermined intervals.
  • the joint boards are connected to the architectural wall by means of mounting brackets, so the respective frames of the jamb are fixed to edges of the landing doorway.
  • a gap between the frame of the jamb and each of the edges of the landing doorway, and an interior of the jamb are filled with a fireproof material such as mortar with a view to closing the gap and improving a fireproof property of the jamb (e.g., see Patent Document 1).
  • Patent Document 1 JP 2002-211860 A
  • the interior of the conventional jamb for the elevator constructed as described above is filled with the fireproof material. Therefore, even in attempting to replace the jamb because of, for example, a repair work of a building, the jamb cannot be removed separately, so the architectural wall around the landing doorway needs to be dismantled as well. As a result, enormous labor and immeasurable costs are required.
  • the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problem, and it is therefore an obj ect of the present invention to obtain a jamb for an elevator, which allows a front board thereof to be replaced more easily while maintaining the fireproof property of the jamb.
  • a jamb for an elevator includes: a back board fixed to an edge of a landing doorway; and a front board removably mounted on the back board, for forming a cylinder together with the back board by being mounted on the back board.
  • Fig. 1 is a front view showing a state of a jamb for an elevator according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention before completion of surface finish of an architectural wall.
  • an architectural wall 1 is provided with a landing doorway 2.
  • a jamb 3 is disposed inside the landing doorway 2.
  • the jamb 3 has an upper frame 3a disposed on an upper edge of the landing doorway 2, and a pair of vertical frames 3b disposed on lateral edges of the landing doorway 2, respectively.
  • Bracket fixing anchor bolts (foundation bolts) 2a are fixed to an inner wall of the landing doorway 2. Respective frames of the jamb 3 are fixed to the edges of the landing doorway 2 via a plurality of fixing brackets 6 fixed to the bracket fixing anchor bolts 2a.
  • Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing one of the fixing brackets 6 of Fig. 1 on an enlarged scale.
  • the fixing bracket 6 is constructed by bending a steel plate into a U-shaped cross-section.
  • the fixing bracket 6 is provided with an architectural wall fixing portion 8 and a jamb fixing portion 9.
  • the architectural wall fixing portion 8 is provided with a bracket fixing long hole 8a.
  • a jamb fixing stud bolt 9a is fixed to the jamb fixing portion 9.
  • a corresponding one of the bracket fixing anchor bolts 2a is inserted into the bracket fixing long hole 8a.
  • the fixing bracket 6 is fixed to a corresponding one of the edges of the landing doorway 2 by screwing a nut onto the bracket fixing anchor bolt 2a inserted into the bracket fixing long hole 8a.
  • the fixing bracket 6 is fixed to a corresponding one of the lateral edges of the landing doorway 2 such that a longitudinal direction of the bracket fixing long hole 8a extends along a height direction of the landing doorway 2. That is, the mounting position of the fixing bracket 6 on the lateral edge of the landing doorway 2 is adjustable in the height direction of the landing doorway 2 by a length of the bracket fixing long hole 8a in the longitudinal direction thereof. Further, another one of the fixing brackets 6 is fixed to the upper edge of the landing doorway 2 such that the longitudinal direction of the bracket fixing long hole 8a extends along a width direction of the landing doorway 2. That is, the mounting position of the fixing bracket 6 on the upper edge of the landing doorway 2 is adjustable in the width direction of the landing doorway 2 by the length of the bracket fixing long hole 8a in the longitudinal direction thereof.
  • Fig. 3 is a back view showing one of the vertical frames 3b of Fig. 1.
  • Fig. 4 is a plan view showing the vertical frame 3b of Fig. 3.
  • the vertical frame 3b is constructed by combining a plurality of board members. That is, the vertical frame 3b has a vertical frame back board 10 disposed along a corresponding one of the lateral edges of the landing doorway 2, and a vertical frame front board 5 removably mounted on the vertical frame back board 10 by means of a plurality of bolts and nuts.
  • the vertical frame 3b is formed in a cylindrical shape (box-body structure) by the vertical frame back board 10 and the vertical frame front board 5.
  • a space 11e for a mounting operation is provided inside the vertical frame 3b.
  • the vertical frame front board 5 has a vertical frame front board body 11 for surrounding the space 11e for the mounting operation except an opening facing a hoistway, and a sheathing board 12 removably mounted on the vertical frame back board 10 and the vertical frame front board body 11 so as to close the opening facing the hoistway.

  • the upper frame front board body 31 can be removed by following the opposite procedure of mounting the upper frame front board body 31.
  • the vertical frame front board 5 is mounted on the vertical frame back board 10 fixed to the lateral edges of the landing doorway 2, thereby forming a cylinder. Therefore, a sufficient fireproof property can be achieved even if the space between the vertical frame back board 10 and the vertical frame front board 5 is not filled with the fireproof material 13. Further, the vertical frame front board 5 is removably mounted on the vertical frame back board 10, so replacement of the vertical frame front board 5 can be carried out with ease.

  • the mounting portions of the vertical frame front board body 11 and the vertical frame back board 10 are disposed within the space 11e for the mounting operation. Therefore, the operation of removing the vertical frame front board body 11 can be performed by removing the sheathing board 12 even in a state in which the vertical frames 3b are cylindrical, namely, a state in which the respective frames of the jamb 3 are fixed to the edges of the landing doorway2. Consequently, both the fireproofproperty of the vertical frames 3b and the convenience in replacing the vertical frame front board body 11 can be achieved.
  • the upper frame front board body 31 is removably mounted on the upper frame back board 30, and the opening portion 31d for the mounting operation is closed by the bent portion 31b and the door device 35. Therefore, the upper frame 3a is cylindrically formed by the upper frame back board 30, the upper frame front board body 31, and the door device 35. Consequently, a sufficient fireproof property can be achieved even if the interior of the upper frame 3a is not filled with the fireproof material, and the upper frame front board body 31 can be replaced more easily.
  • the mounting position of each of the fixing brackets 6 on the corresponding one of the lateral edges of the landing doorway 2 is adjustable in the vertical direction
  • the mounting position of each of the fixing brackets 6 on the vertical frame 3b is adjustable in the depth direction of the landing doorway 2.
  • the opposite construction is also acceptable. That is, it is appropriate that the bracket fixing long hole and the back board fixing long hole be arranged such that their longitudinal directions become perpendicular to each other.
  • the bracket fixing long hole and the back board fixing long hole be arranged such that their longitudinal directions become perpendicular to each other.
  • the bolts and the nuts are used to connect the members to one another.
