Definitions
- the invention relates to a multilayer label comprising an upper layer with at least one information field visible from the outside as well as at least one further lower layer with further information fields and a method for its Production.
- Labels are widely used and are used to label products of daily life, as well as goods for commercial use.
- Such Label contains a variety of information, i.a. the product name, the Manufacturers and selling price, moreover, are in many cases legal Specify prescribed ingredients and safety instructions. Will a manufacturer offer its products in several countries, so these references for the Buyers in different countries be readable.
- Some safety instructions or Quality standards can be represented by generally understandable symbols, other notes must be translated into the appropriate languages. For a in The product distributed by the European Union has already been German text information identical information for about 10 countries necessary. The planned enlargement of the European Union doubles the number of instructions to be translated. For sufficiently large products leaves this can be done easily by increasing the size of the label.
- the size of the label is determined by the packaging size. This This applies in particular to loose goods that are packaged in specified sizes Be offered for sale, such as liquids in bottles or chemical Canned products, paints and varnishes. For these products, the size of the for the label available space can not be changed. In these Cases would have printed different labels for different countries become. This means an additional expense for the manufacturer.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide an improved label, that contains more information for the same size.
- the label according to the invention consists of several layers.
- the upper layer corresponds the known label, which has at least one information field, preferably several information fields, namely for a promotional designed area with the product name, the manufacturer's name and the logo and for a wider range of technical information, e.g. Ingredients, Safety instructions, for example in 10 languages.
- the label has another layer, which is located below the upper layer and with this is connected for example via an adhesive connection.
- This lower layer will be in Normally covered by the upper layer, however, if necessary, in particular be provided by provided opening means.
- the then visible Information fields of the lower layer and possibly on the back of the upper layer preferably have further technical information in other languages.
- At especially small labels can also be provided more than one lower layer, i.e. For example, two layers may be arranged below the upper layer.
- two layers may be arranged below the upper layer.
- the top and bottom layers have the same Size. This simplifies the manufacturing process. In the case where not the whole Size of the lower layer needed for information fields can also only one limited area of the lower layer. This is done by the Arranging the joints between the layers realized. In the simplest case The layers are connected by gluing. These adhesive joints are located in areas outside the information fields of the lower layer. It can to be provided a permanent adhesive bonds, for example in Edge area of both layers, at least on one side edge. Furthermore, one is Connection of the layers by releasable adhesive joints possible. Are exclusive provided detachable adhesive joints, the upper layer of the total be lifted lower position and, if necessary, again with the lower layer get connected. Permanent adhesive bonds have the advantage that both Layers when folding the upper layer of the lower layer connected together stay. In this case, for example, the back of the upper layer with Be provided information fields.
- One embodiment has permanent adhesive bonds to two opposite side edges of the label and adjacent to the opening point also releasable adhesive bonds in the form of glue dots. These glue dots are preferably provided on the underside of the upper layer.
- the upper layer remains connected to the lower layer when folding down. she can However, at the opening point by means of opening means far from the bottom Able to be lifted, that the information fields of the lower layer visible become. After studying the information, the lower layer can again through the upper Location to be covered.
- Such an embodiment has the advantage that the lower layer can be made from a cheap material and only the upper layer is provided with a protective layer.
- Another particularly advantageous embodiment has two adjacent arranged lower layers, each at its left side edge a permanent Have adhesive bond with the upper layer, which may also adjacent to the opening location, if the corresponding lower layer information fields has. Between the opening point and the information fields can in the same As described above, a releasable adhesive joints in the form of Be provided with glue spots. On a permanent adhesive bond on the right Side edge of the label can be omitted if a recess at this Side margin is provided. In this way, when attaching the label, For example, a can band on the can, by gluing the back of the Labels a link between this back and the can as well simultaneously a connection between the overlapping side edges, i. of the Surface of the left margin of the upper layer with the backs of the right Side edges of both the lower and the upper layer achieved.
- FIG. 1 shows the upper layer 20 of the label 10 with the information fields 21, 22, 23. These information fields 21, 22, 23 can serve for different information and hints. Is it the case, as in This embodiment, to a can band, so is preferably a large box 21 designed as a promotional eye-catching, preferably containing the name of the product and the name of the manufacturer as well as the filling quantity. at a known brand product is further an area of Information field 21 for the brand name or the logo 27 used.
- This Part of the label 10 represents the front of a can, which in a Sales shelf to attract customers.
- this area of the label particularly elaborately designed by an attractive design and possibly by using different colors and finishes.
- the right side of the label 10 forms the back of a can and is in this example in two Information fields 22 and 23 for particular technical information divided.
- the information field 22 may, for example, various standardized symbols containing instructions on how to handle the contents of the box. Furthermore, the information field 22 provides space for a bar code. In one Further information field 23 can provide appropriate instructions for safe Be listed for the user and / or the composition of the in the Can be given filled liquid, pasty or powdery product.
- This upper layer 20 of the label is preferably made a high quality material, such as a special paper, which with a Protective coating is provided or made of a high quality film.
- a Protective layer can be a lacquer layer that ensures that the by a printing process applied label of the label also at Exposure to moisture or chemical substances as long as possible remains.
- this label 10 consists of two layers, the upper layer 20 and a lower layer 30. Both layers 20, 30 adhere to each other, ensure adhesive bonds 25, 26.
- the adhesive bonds 25 is preferably permanent adhesive bonds, which only destroy the Composite can be solved.
- These adhesive bonds 25 are in the edge region of the Label 10 is provided, indicated in FIG. 1 by the dashed lines, in addition to the adhesive bonds 25 at the edges to the side edge 28 and 29 of the Label 10 is another adhesive bond 25 adjacent a tear tab 40 arranged.
- This tear tab 40 is formed by two parallel across the entire width of the label 10 extending perforation lines 24 formed exclusively in the upper layer 20 are provided. By separating the tear tab 40 in the direction of the arrow, i.e. either from top to bottom or from bottom to top, you get access to the information fields 31, 32 of the lower layer 30. In this example, there are none Information fields provided on the back of the upper layer, resulting in larger Scope of information would be possible.
- These information fields 31, 32 can be the information of the information fields 22 and / or 23, but in another language.
- this is represented by the characters CZ for Czech, GR for Greek, H for Hungarian, RO for Bulgarian and P for Portuguese indicated.
- the lower layer 30 can be made of a cheap one Material are prepared, for example, a corresponding paper or a cheap foil.
- the upper layer 20 may be equipped so that they cover the lower layer 30 again connects to this, for example via a detachable Adhesive connection 26, indicated here in FIG. 3 by glue points. these can either on the underside of the upper layer 20 or on the lower layer 30, preferably be provided outside the information fields 31, 32.
- FIGs 4 and 5 show a further embodiment of an inventive Labels 10 '.
- the top layer 20 has been compared to the example described above, shown in Figs. 1 to 3, not changed. However, none of the upper layer 20 equal bottom layer 30, but two adjacent lower layers 30 ' and 30 ", which do not cover the entire back of the topsheet 20. Between two lower layers 30 'and 30 ", a gap 33 is provided and on right side edge of the lower layer 30 "a recess 34. This gap 33 should especially with labels 10 'that are not on flat surfaces of a product be applied, the structure of tensions, the detachment of the label 10 ' prevent.
- Such a gap 33 is preferably arranged at several adjacent lower layers 30 ', 30 "respectively between them, that is, for example, to the right of each Side edge of a lower layer 30 ', 30 "and then also on the outer right side edge arranged.
- a recess 34 is provided This recess will be a part of the back of the upper layer 20 visible.
- These Recess 34 is provided in particular in the central region of the side edge and preferably has a width which is a possible overlap of the Side margins when used as Dosenbanderole corresponds.
- the upper and lower Area is a gap of lesser width between the Boundary edges 35 of the lower layer 30 "and the right edge of the label 10 ', which is formed by the upper layer 20.
- This gap has the same function as the gap 33.
- the recess 34 serves that on an adhesive bond between the lower layer 30 "and the upper layer 20 are dispensed with on the right edge can.
- Fig. 4 it is shown that it is intended, only a part of the upper layer 20 of The lower layer 30 'has in this example no information fields.
- To lift off half of the upper layer 20 is by means of the tear tab 40 to introduce an opening in the upper layer 20.
- the lifted one Half of the top layer 20 is then not completely removed when the label 10 ' is attached to the can via the above sizing, since the area containing the Recess 34 covers, a connection to the box or with the opposite Side margin manufactures.
- the information goes on the upper layer 20 of the label 10 when opening the label 10 'not lost.
- the lower layer 30 "is equipped so that they are due to a detachable adhesive connection 26 'at Cover again with the upper layer 20 connects.
- This adhesive connection 26 ' is to the right of the tear tab 40 and to the left, i. outside, the information fields of Bottom layer 30 "to the right of the tear tab 40 is a permanent Adhesive 25 'to find the removed with tear tab 40 left Side edge of the right bottom layer 30 "with the right side edge of not lifted left half of the upper layer 20 connects.
- the tear tab 40 in the region of a side edge, here the Side edge 28, be provided. By separating the tear tab 40 is the entire area of the lower layer 30 visible and can serve as an information carrier.
- the illustrated embodiments of the label 10, 10 give the subject of the Invention only for example again. Of course it is also conceivable, others To select label shapes, to arrange the tear tab in other areas, instead the tear tab only provide a perforation line or the entire top layer separate. Also, the arrangement of the splices is arbitrary. Prefers are embodiments where permanent and / or releasable adhesive bonds be provided outside the information fields 31, 32 of the lower layer 30, 30 " or it becomes a transparent adhesive for the releasable adhesive bonds used. Furthermore, it is possible, several lower layers 30 with each other to be arranged below the upper layer 20. Access to the information of this single layers is done either by tearing the tear tab once 40 in the upper layer 20 or there are more openings in the under upper layer 20 arranged layers provided.
- a label made in this way offers more space for the same dimensions Information, in particular, can provide significantly more technical data and hints can be accommodated on the label without the eye-catching design area (Information field 21), which forms the front of a can, limited must become. There is enough space for more information fields on the Back of the upper layer and on the lower layer. The more information is also not by a much more expensive and therefore more expensive label bought, because the lower layer as an additional information carrier from a cheap Material can be produced.
- the production takes place, for example, in that, as with known labels Location special paper or film is printed by an offset method. This poses in the finished label 10, the upper layer 20.
- perforations 24 are placed in the upper layer 20 and on the underside of the upper layer 20, the corresponding splices 25, 26th provided, so that in a third method step, the second layer 30 at the upper layer 20 can be attached.
- the offset printing process of the upper layer 20 may be a well-known Offline method, namely the application of conventional oil printing ink, which is then covered with a UV lacquer layer for protection. Also for a particular design, partial varnishes can be on the visible side be made.
- the printing of the label layers is not limited to offset printing. ever according to the customer's request, other well-known printing methods for Printing the layers of labels are used.
