Definitions

  • the invention relates to a safety gear for a climbing protection device with a housing and a pivotally mounted in the housing locking bolt, wherein the housing is movable and lockable in a guide rail.
  • Safety gear of this type should prevent the fall of a person from a ladder, a crampons gear, a Steigbolzengang, a pedestal or the like.
  • a safety gear of the type mentioned, from which the invention proceeds, is known from DE 299 20 850 U1.
  • the person to be secured carries a safety harness as a holding device, which is connected via a connecting element with the safety gear.
  • the safety gear has a housing which runs in a guide rail and in the housing a rotatably mounted or a pivotally mounted locking bolt is provided.
  • This locking bar is loaded by a spring which presses the locking bolt in a locking position.
  • the nose of the locking bolt bears against locking elements of the guide rail.
  • the nose of the locking bolt engages in the locking position in a provided in the guide rail locking hole, so that the housing is locked in the guide rail and no longer movable.
  • the locking bolt In a tensile load of the locking bolt, the locking bolt is pivotable in an unlocking position in which the housing is movable in the guide rail.
  • This known safety device works on the principle of the back pull. If the person to be secured and carrying the fall arrives, for example, when descending along a ladder, a tensile load is exerted on the locking bolt on the attached to the locking latch harness. Due to this tensile load of the locking bar is pivoted into the unlocked position, so that the housing can be moved unhindered in the guide rail.
  • the invention is based on the technical problem of specifying a safety gear of the type mentioned above, with which a very effective backup of a person can be achieved even in exceptional circumstances exceptional.
  • the invention teaches a safety gear for a climbing protection device with a housing and a pivotally mounted in the or on the housing locking bolt, wherein the housing is movable in a guide rail, wherein the housing is lockable in a locking position of the locking bolt in the guide rail, wherein at a first tensile load of the locking bolt, the locking bolt is pivotable in an unlocking position in which the housing is movable in the guide rail and wherein at a second additional tensile load of the locking bar located in the unlocking position, a securing bolt can be swung out, with which the housing can be locked in the guide rail.
  • the latter swung-out position of the safety bar is hereinafter referred to as the locking position of the safety bar.
  • the safety gear according to the invention is suitable for a climbing protection device for preventing a person from falling from a ladder, a crampon gear, a climbing bolt gear, a pedestal or the like.
  • the locking bolt is also in the safety gear according to the invention at a first or at a normal tensile load, for example under load pivoted by remindyak in an unlocking position in which the housing is movable in the guide rail. Then the person to be secured can ascend or descend unhindered.
  • the invention is based on the finding that in certain exceptional situations, especially in the case of persons who have become unconscious and the body positions or body postures resulting therefrom as a rule, an increased tensile load is exerted on the safety catch or on the safety catch.
  • the difference to the first or normal tensile load is referred to here as the second additional tensile load.
  • this second additional tensile load which occurs in particular in the described exceptional situations, a securing bolt is swung out, with which the housing can be locked in the guide rail. Consequently, the housing in the guide rail is no longer movable and the safety gear can not drive unhindered down. In other words, a falling, for example, unconscious person is automatically collected by this inventive embodiment of the safety gear, because the locking latch effectively locks the housing in the guide rail.
  • a line passing through the point of application of the tensile force on the locking bolt and through the pivot axis or axis of rotation of the locking bolt includes an acute angle with a horizontal.
  • the locking bolt is connected via at least one connecting element with a holding device for a person to be secured and that tensile loads of the locking bolt via the connecting element.
  • the holding device is expediently a safety harness which the person to be protected carries. This harness usually has a catch, with the harness is connected via the connecting element to the locking bolt.
  • the tensile load or the corresponding tensile force acting on the locking bar is applied by the person carrying the holding device and preferably applied by the weight or the weight of the person by the person leaning back from the guide rail. This is the back train already explained above.
  • the locking bar is acted upon by a defined biasing force in the direction of the locking position.
  • the locking bolt is preferably pressurized by at least one spring or compression spring in the direction of locking position.
  • the locking bolt can be pivoted out of the locking position, it is according to the invention required that the tensile force of the tensile load acting on the locking bolt is greater than the biasing force acting on the locking bolt in the direction of the locking position.
  • the locking bar or a nose of the locking bolt rests in the locking position on a locking element of the guide rail.
  • a plurality of locking elements is arranged distributed over the length of the guide rail.
  • the locking elements can be perforations or recesses in the guide rail, in which the locking bolt or the nose of the locking bolt can engage, so that the housing is locked in the guide rail.
  • the locking elements may also be catch catches or catch noses, which are arranged on the guide rail and which can be grasped by the locking bolt or the nose of the locking bolt in the locking position.
  • the locking elements are provided in the opposite side of the locking bolt rear wall of the guide rail.
  • the guide rail is otherwise formed according to a preferred embodiment of the invention as a C-profile.
  • the locking latch is held in the unlocked position by at least one locking connection in position and when applying the second additional tensile load, this locking connection is detachable and the locking latch for locking the housing swung.
  • this locking connection is initially fixed by the locking connection in position. If then a higher tensile force or the second additional tensile load is applied, the latching connection is releasable and the safety catch can be swung out.
  • the second additional tensile load occurs in particular in exceptional situations in which, for example, the person to be protected becomes unconscious and assumes corresponding body positions or postures which lead to a higher tensile load or to a higher back tension.
  • the latching connection of the safety bolt is realized by at least one spring-loaded locking element, which engages locking element in the unlocked position in a recess of the safety bolt.
  • the latching element is expediently a spring-loaded latching pin which is pressed into the latching recess of the safety latch under the action of the spring force.
  • the surface of the locking bolt acting on the safety catch is hardened. It is within the scope of the invention that the spring force with which the locking pins act on the locking latch, is adjustable.
  • the spring-loaded locking bolts are after swinging out the safety lever in its locking position continues to the safety catch.
  • the corresponding, a locking bolt associated tread of the safety bolt has a Inclination, which facilitates a pushing back of the locking bolt into its starting position or a corresponding retraction of the locking bolt.
  • the locking latch is part of the locking bolt.
  • the safety catch is expediently pivotable with the other elements of the locking bolt under the first acting tensile load in the unlocked position.
  • the securing bolt acts as an element of the locking bolt, which can be swiveled into the locking position relative to or relative to the other elements of the locking bolt.
  • the locking latch forms a central element of the locking bar, which is flanked by two outer elements of the locking bar. In this case, the locking element designed as a central element can be pivoted away from the two outer elements of the locking bolt into its locking position.
  • the locking bolt is formed in three parts at least in the guide rail side area and expediently has a swing-out locking latch (middle element) and two outer elements not swinging out separately.
  • the spring-loaded latching elements preferably the spring-loaded latching pins, pass through the outer elements and act on the middle element (the securing latch).
  • a slot is formed in the locking bolt, in which slot a bolt is slidably disposed, which bolt is connected to the one connected to the holding device connecting element and the other to the locking latch and wherein by a displacement of the bolt in Long hole of the locking bolt in the locking position can be swung or swung into its original position.
  • the locking bolt is first pivoted into the unlocking position, so that the housing can be moved in the guide rail.
  • the second additional tensile load is applied, this leads to a displacement of the bolt in the slot and to a corresponding pivoting of the safety bolt connected to the bolt.
  • the invention is based on the finding that this elongated hole makes it possible for the second additional tensile load, in particular backward tensile load, to be transmitted first to the securing bolt by the movement of the bolt and only then to be transferred to the remaining components of the locking bolt (outer elements).
  • the bolt located in the slot is pressurized or moved in the slot in the opposite direction, a pivoting of the locking bolt from the locking position takes place in the starting position.
  • the securing bolt rests in its locking position on locking elements of the guide rail.
  • the safety catch is expediently applied to the locking elements on which also the locking bolt or the nose of the locking bolt rests in the locking position. The nature of the locking elements and the interaction of the locking bolt or the nose of the locking bolt with these locking elements has already been explained above. The same applies to the safety catch.
  • the locking bolt is manually foundedschwenkbar from its locking position to its original position. Thereafter, the housing of the safety gear can be moved back in the guide rail and it is an unhindered ascending or descending a person possible.
  • the locking latch is pivoted back by pressurization from its locking position to the starting position.
  • a corresponding pressure force is exerted on the slidable in the slot bolt, so that the safety bolt connected to the bolt is pivoted back to the starting position.
  • the invention is based on the finding that with the safety gear according to the invention a crash of a person from a climbing device (ladder and the like) can be very effectively prevented, especially in exceptional situations.
  • the safety gear according to the invention is characterized in this respect by special reliability. Nonetheless, the safety gear is relatively simple and of little complexity. The production of this safety gear is also relatively inexpensive.
  • FIG. 1 shows the safety gear 1 according to the invention on a climbing device 2, which may be embodied in the embodiment as a metal conductor.
  • a climbing device 2 which may be embodied in the embodiment as a metal conductor.
  • this climbing device 2 extends a guide rail 3, in which a housing 4 of the safety gear 1 is movable.
  • the housing 4 has corresponding guide rollers 5, with which it is guided in the guide rail 3.
  • the guide rail 3 is formed as a C-profile.
  • FIG. 1 it can be seen that a person ascending the climbing device 2 and to protect against falling carries a holding device 6 in the form of a safety belt, which holding device 6 is connected to the safety device 1 via a catch 7.
  • the holding device 6 is connected via the catch eye 7 and connecting elements 9 with the locking bolt 8.
  • the locking bolt 8 is pivotally mounted in the housing 4 about a pivot axis 11.
  • a straight line passing through the point of application 10 and through the pivot axis 11 includes an acute angle ⁇ with a horizontal.
  • the locking bolt 8 is acted upon by a defined biasing force in the direction of a locking position.
  • the biasing force is preferably applied and in the embodiment by compression springs 22.
  • the housing 4 is locked in the guide rail 3 and thus can not be moved in the guide rail 3.
  • a nose 12 of the locking bolt 8 engages in a recess 13 of the guide rail 3.
  • Such recesses 13 are expediently arranged distributed as locking elements and in the embodiment over the entire length of the guide rail 3.
  • a transfer of the locking bolt 8 from the locking position to an unlocked position is not essential. Since the nose 12 of the locking bolt 8 points downwards, this nose 12 can as it were run over the locking elements or recesses 13 during ascent and with a corresponding vertical movement of the housing 4.
  • the locking bolt 8 must be transferred from the locking position (FIGS. 3 and 4) into an unlocking position (FIG. 5).
  • This transfer to the unlocked position is achieved when the locking bolt 8 experiences a first, as it were normal tensile load or tensile force.
  • This tensile load is generated by the person carrying the holding device 6, in that this person leans back on the climbing device 2 and, as it were, exerts a backward pull on the catching device 1.
  • the locking bolt 8 is thereby pivoted about its pivot axis 11, so that its nose 12 pivots out of the recess 13 and the functional position shown in Fig. 5 is achieved.
  • the housing 4 can now be moved easily in the guide rail 3 and the person can descend unhindered on the climbing device 2.
  • a special exceptional situation occurs when the person becomes unconscious, for example, and then, as it were, hangs on the safety gear 1 in a resulting body position or posture. This normally causes an increased tensile load, which goes beyond the first normal tensile load and the safety gear 1 and the locking bolt 8 applied.
  • an inventive locking latch 14 can be swung out, with which the housing 4 is automatically locked in the guide rail 3. Another method of the housing 4 in the guide rail 3 is then no longer possible and in this way a crash of the person is effectively prevented.
  • the functional position with the extended locking latch 14 is shown in FIG. 6. Also the swung-out locking latch 14 engages in its locking position (Fig. 6) in a recess 13 of the guide rail 3 a.
  • the locking latch 14 is part of the locking bolt 8.
  • the locking latch 14 forms a central element of the locking bolt 8 and is flanked by two outer elements 15 of the locking bolt 8. This can be seen in particular in FIG. 9.
  • outer elements 15 and securing latch 14 together form the nose 12 of the locking bolt 8, which engages in the recess 13.
  • the locking bar 14 formed as a central element is pivoted away from the two outer elements 15 of the locking bolt 8 and engages in a recess 13.
  • the securing bolt 14 is initially held in its position by a latching connection.
  • the latching connection is preferably and realized in the embodiment by two spring-loaded detent pin 16, which pass through the outer elements 15 of the locking bolt 8 and engage from both sides in a recess 17 of the locking bolt 14.
  • the heads of the locking pin 16 are suitably rounded. These heads are preferably also cured.
  • the latching connection is releasable and the locking latch 14 is for pivoting the housing 4 in the guide rail 3 swung out.
  • the locking bar 14 is connected to a bolt 18 which forms the point of application for the tensile load or tensile force and in a slot 19 of the locking bolt 8 is displaceable.
  • the bolt 18 is connected in the embodiment via a pull tab 20 to the locking latch 14, which locking latch 14 is formed in the embodiment L-shaped.
  • the second additional tensile load of the bolt 18 is displaced in the direction of arrow B in the slot 19 and thereby the locking bar 14 is pivoted about the second pivot axis 21 in its locking position (Fig. 6).
  • the aforementioned displacement of the bolt 18 and the corresponding Pivoting of the locking bolt 14 thus takes place only at a higher, almost unusual tensile load, which occurs, for example, when a person hangs unconsciously on the safety gear 1.
  • the safety latch 14 can be manually swung back from its locking position to the starting position.
  • pressure is expediently exerted on the connecting elements 9, so that the bolt 18 is displaceable counter to the direction of the arrow B in the slot 19.
  • the locking latch 14 is pivoted back to its original position. Then the safety gear 1 and the housing 4 is again easily moved in the guide rail 3, if necessary.
