Definitions
- the present invention relates to a process for staining of Cotton warp yarns with indigo, as well as such dyed cotton warp yarns containing textile articles.
- Denim is a relatively coarse cotton fabric, originally For hard-wearing workwear, but today especially for production fashionable jeans article is used.
- the one for making denim Needed warp yarns can with indigo, but also with sulfur dyes, in particular sulfur black, are dyed, the blue color with Indigo far outweighs.
- the warp yarn is used as a cable or warp with indigo dyed special dyeing systems, consisting of a combination of one or consist of several troughs with squeezing and subsequent aisle.
- the trough is applied the reduced dye and oxidized in the aisle (see, for example, Technical Information TI / T 017 d of BASF AG of June 1995, title: Continuous dyeing with indigo).
- wetting agents in a concentration of about 0.1 to 5 g / l be used.
- hydrosulfite (reducing agent) is used up to 5 g / l.
- the contact time of the yarn with the dyebath is per Train usually 8 to 30 seconds.
- German patent application DE 196 29 985 describes dyeing with a Train in which to overcome the low absorptive power of indigo the dyebath in addition salt in the form of sodium chloride is added to to set an electrolyte concentration of 200 to 350 g / l.
- ring dyeing i. the Fiber is only stained on the surface, whereas the inside of the fiber, the Core, remains undyed.
- the ring dyeing allows ready-made Denimiser in special washing and / or bleaching a high-contrast Appearance in which a lightening of the initially dark blue colored Goods are obtained (wash-down).
- wash-down the well-known stone-wash effect called by washing the prefabricated article with enzymes and Pimples is achieved.
- the invention relates to a process for dyeing cotton warp yarns with indigo in an indigo dyeing plant, characterized in that at a Dyeing temperature of 30 to 90 ° C and an indigo concentration of 5 - 500 g / l is dyed in one go.
- Indigo dyeing plants are in the context of the present invention facilities understood, consisting of one or a combination of several staining troughs Quetschwerk and subsequent air passages exist (see for example ITB Refinement 2/90, title: Indigo-Dyeing: Process and Machine Engineering Solutions, author: Dipl. Ing. L. Haas).
- indigo any commercially available indigo can be used. He will preferably in amounts of 5 to 500 g / l, more preferably in amounts of 10 used up to 50 g / l.
- prereduced indigo is used, without the use of reducing agents, such as sodium dithionite, but has been prepared by catalytic hydrogenation from indigo.
- Indigo is advantageously used in the form of a solution of leucoindigo, as they are For example, in EP 1 097 184 B1 and described by the company DyStar Textile dyes GmbH & Co. Germany KG is offered in the market.
- hydrosulfite a reducing agent for example Glucose or hydroxyacetone, or combinations of different Reducing agents such as glucose / hydrosulfite can be used.
- the inventive method is preferably at a temperature of 30 - 90 ° C carried out, with temperatures of 50 to 70 ° C particularly preferred are.
- the process according to the invention can be carried out with and without wetting agent However, it is preferably carried out in the presence of a wetting agent.
- Suitable wetting agents are, for example, anionic wetting agents, for example Fatty alcohol ethoxylate, alkanesulfonate, sulfosuccinate, alkyl phosphate or paraffins and hydrocarbons or mixtures of these wetting agents, all Particular preference is given to using salts of phosphoric acid esters.
- the wetting agents mentioned are preferably used in quantities of 5 to 50 g / l, particularly preferably 10 to 25 g / l used.
- the pH of the dyebath is preferred in the process according to the invention in the range of 10.5 to 13.5.
- the process according to the invention already takes place in one go to be colored, i. also in the core dyed, yarns. It is the Contact time with the dyebath preferably 8 to 30 seconds, especially preferably 15 to 20 seconds. The subsequent aeration will take 90 hours to 130 seconds, more preferably 100 to 110 seconds.
- the inventive method is particularly surprising because it due to the properties of indigo was not expected to use high levels of indigo leads to a fetzberisch satisfactory result. Rather, it had previously been assumed that the large indigo dyeing plants of the prior art are indispensable for this purpose.
- Cotton warp yarns can be used for further treatment steps subjected to certain effects and then in the usual and known manner interwoven and to textile articles for the end user, in particular Garments, be processed.
- Cotton warp yarns also interwoven and blended with other materials Articles for the end user to be further processed.
- Mixtures with spandex called.
- the present invention also relates to textile articles which Cotton warp yarns containing the process according to the invention are colored.
- Such textile articles are, for example, unassembled Denim fabrics, but especially clothing such as pants, skirts, Shirts, jackets etc. or other textile articles.
- the yarn was dried at a temperature of 50 ° C in a dipping time of 25 Seconds dyed.
- the subsequent aisle lasted 120 seconds.
- the pH of the liquor was 12.6.
- the yarn was dried at a temperature of 60 ° C in a dipping time of 10 Seconds dyed. The subsequent aisle lasted 120 seconds. Of the Yarn throughput was 12.61 kg / min.
