Definitions
- the invention relates to an arrangement of machine elements, in particular needles for knitting machines, in the form of a package.
- Knitting machines have knitting systems, including several Parts, so-called system parts, especially needles belong. Each knitting machine has a large number of the same System parts on. Such system parts, such as e.g. Needles or Other knitting tools are as spare or wear parts to procure and hold ready to use as needed to become. For the original equipment and the replacement need The system parts are shipped in larger quantities. To If the system parts are e.g. packed in paper bags.
- Such a system part can be constructed in one or more parts be.
- a needle for stitch-forming from DE 101 48 196 Machines are known from a body and a selection part. Both elements are cohesive interconnected, e.g. bonded.
- the connection is straight durable enough to hold both items together in a manageable way. As a result, they do not fall apart and can get together very easy to insert into a needle bed.
- the connection it is so weak that it is in operation at the first Movement of the selection part separated from the system part body becomes and the function of the needle afterwards no more disturbs.
- These needles are also used e.g. bundled in paper bags packed up.
- the inventive package consists of a variety of elongated, preferably identical system parts, in particular Needles for stitch forming machines. These usually show two opposite, substantially flat sides on.
- the durability of the cohesive connection between The system parts should be sized to make the package easier Handling, e.g. by lifting, not falling apart.
- the weakest links between a multitude of neighboring ones System parts usually keep it in handling to stand up.
- all connections between adjacent system parts preferably be separated by hand in a simple manner can damage without damaging the system parts.
- the strongest Connection between adjacent system parts can therefore be achieved by Application of a force that is so low that It does not damage the parcel removal process the system parts comes.
- connection point can be the entire side of the system part or parts thereof, e.g. the edge, a contiguous area or more over the whole Page distributed sub-areas include.
- the resilience of connection through bending moments or torsion can not only from the adhesive adhesion at the joints and their total area, but also influenced by their arrangement become.
- Connection points e.g. the margin or individual points a higher load capacity by bending or torsion than a narrow area of the same size.
- An advantageous Compound that withstands tensile forces relatively well, but already separated by a relatively low bending or torsional moment can be made up of a single, relatively large connection point. This is preferably at a relatively insensitive Location, e.g. in the center of a flat side of the system part arranged.
- a cohesive connection between adjacent ones System parts may e.g. made by glue or varnish become.
- the adhesive or paint is preferably adjusted that after drying or curing it sticks loses and no longer has any adhesion, so that the fracture surfaces which may arise during the separation of the connection not liable if they are with each other or with others Objects, in particular the thread to be processed or the walls of the guide channels of a stitch forming machine come in contact.
- a paint or adhesive is selected, the Adhesion adhesion at the joints of the surface of the mostly metal existing system part considerably less than the cohesion within the paint or adhesive. This will connect when disassembling the shipping unit usually separated at one of the connection points, whereby at least one of the two separate system parts already is virtually free of paint or adhesive residues while the paint or adhesive mass almost completely on the second System part is liable. Low adhesion at the joint facilitates this in a further step, too Removing the paint or adhesive mass from the second system part, from which the residues are ideally separated in one piece can be.
- the system parts can be two opposing, have substantially flat flat sides, with the Flat sides of the adjacent system parts materially connected are.
- the flat sides are functional surfaces that the Lead the knitting machine needles in the needle channel.
- the knitting machine needles run here with little play. Before insertion
- the knitting machine needles serve the flat sides but that temporary cohesive abstract of knitting machine needles to a package.
- the system parts of a package are preferably aligned and side by side a spatial direction arranged perpendicular to the flat sides stands.
- the flat sides of adjacent system parts lie opposite each other and are preferably at least one Joint on the opposite flat sides connected by the connecting means.
- the flat sides of the system parts can be used alone be separated between them connecting means, where they are held by this at a small distance and can touch each other in subregions.
- the cohesive Connection between two system parts can also have one Spacers be made across, between each other opposite flat sides of two adjacent system parts is arranged and in the same, previously described Type as system parts with each other with the neighboring System parts can be connected.
- the spacer is made preferably made of plastic, e.g. in the form of a tile, but can also be made of other material, e.g. Metal exist. Its size is preferably such that it is made its installation resulting spacing of adjacent system parts of a corresponds to predetermined pitch, e.g. with the division of the Needle cylinder of a knitting machine coincides. To this Way, the insertion of a variety of needles in the Needle channels are simplified and accelerated.
- a spacer arranged between adjacent system parts may also be the process of detaching the glue residue further simplify.
- the spacer preferably made of plastic, with an adhesive or varnish is selected, e.g. by dissolving the surface of the spacer with this a much firmer connection comes in as with the mostly metal existing surface of the system part.
- the separation takes place at the weakest point. That's the connection with the surface one of the system parts, because the adhesion there weaker is as on the surface of the spacer or as the Cohesion within the adhesive mass.
- the spacer of the second part of the system separated with the separation in turn along the surface of the system part takes place.
- the shipping unit is characterized in System parts disassembled, on which on both sides no glue or paint adheres, and spacers, on which on both sides by far the largest or the complete part of the adhesive or Lacks the respective junction is liable. In this way are the system parts alone by removing the relative handy spacers at least largely adhesive-free, without adhesive residue in a more complex process must be removed from the system parts.
- these can be one from the space between the adjacent system parts have outstanding handle portion, which the user as Attachment point for manual access or for a tool, e.g. a pair of pliers or tweezers serves.
- a handle in This sense can not be just one specially designed for this purpose Section of the spacer may be provided.
- a cohesive connection between a multitude Of system parts can also be through common fasteners be prepared, the material fit with several System parts are connected.
- a single common connecting element with all system parts of the Shipping unit connected.
- Each system part may preferably on a circulating between the flat sides arranged Peripheral surface have a connection point, the material fit connected to the common connection element is.
- the common connecting element may be a preferably self-adhesive film that comes with a variety of system parts connected is. It is also possible, spacers between adjacent system parts and both the System parts as well as the spacers with the common Connecting element without the system parts and Spacers need to be connected directly to each other.
- FIG. 1 shows a system part using the example of a needle 2 illustrated for knitting machines.
- Each needle has one flat needle body 15 with a guide member 16 and a Shank 17, at its free end 18, a hook 19 is formed is.
- the flat sides of the guide part 16, the sides 3, 4 form are dominated by no parts.
- a foot 21 is formed, the flat sides 22, 23 lie in common planes with the sides 3, 4.
- a shipping unit 1 of several similar needles 2 shown. All needles are 2 arranged in a row next to each other and aligned in the same way, wherein the sides 3, 4 of adjacent needles 2 face each other to assign.
- the needles 2 are substantially relative to each other along a spatial direction 5 perpendicular to the sides 3, 4 the needles 2 arranged.
- the adjacent needles 2 are on two connection points 6 on the sides 3, 4 each Needle on which a fixing lacquer 27 is used as the connecting material 7 is glued together (Fig. 4).
- the needles 2 are only through a thin layer of the fixing lacquer 27 at the connection point 6 and an air gap of similar width to the remaining places separated from each other.
- the needles 2 can also touch in places.
- a shipping unit 1 in a knitting machine they have to be separated from each other become. This is the connection between each two adjacent Needles 2 of the shipping unit 1 at the junction 6 by manual force application on pull, bend or twist as hard charged that the needles 2 separate from each other.
- the parts of the shipping unit to be separated can be separated taken in the hand or with your fingernail or a tool, e.g. Forceps or tweezers, are gripped.
- the shipping unit initially in a holding device, e.g. a vise, to fix, then to to remove the needles 2 individually.
- the single ones Needles are inserted into the guide channels 24 of the knitting machine used.
- a bending stress of the Junctions 6 is made by applying a moment between two adjacent needles 2 about an axis of rotation, the Essentially in the plane of the glued-together sides 3, 4 of the two needles 2 is reached.
- the bending moment causes that a part of the connection points 6 between the two needles on pressure and another part on train loaded becomes.
- the points of the joints loaded with tension 6 it comes to the separation of the connection, as soon as the occurring there Forces are big enough. Through leverage can the forces occurring are amplified when the junction 6 and the starting point for disconnecting the connection Expended force falling apart.
- connection point 6 and the points of attack for disconnecting the connections Expended forces are preferably on the wider, relatively insensitive guide member 16 of the Needle 2, to damage the needle by the acting To prevent forces.
- the separation of the compounds can advantageously also done by torsion. It is between two adjacent Needles 2 applied a moment whose axis of rotation in Essentially in the spatial direction 5 perpendicular to the sides 3, 4 runs. Due to their flat shape, the needles can significantly larger moments about a rotation axis in the spatial direction 5 perpendicular to the sides 3, 4 as about an axis of rotation in one Space direction along the pages 3, 4 withstand.
- the connection points 6 are claimed in shear, where the load increases with increasing distance from the axis of rotation and sufficient to break the connection. advantageously, can leverage increase strength, by the junction 6 relatively compact in a relative resistant, portion of the needle, e.g. the foot 21 is located and the forces required to generate the torsional moment relatively far away, e.g. in the far end 26 of the guide part 16.
- FIG. 4 One of a shipping unit 1 shown in FIG. 2 separated Needle 2 is shown in FIG. 4. At the connection points 6 on the page 3 are still residues of the fixing lacquer 27th
- FIGS. 5 to 7 show a shipping unit 1, that of several identical needles 2 of the illustrated in Fig. 1 Type for stitch-forming machines exists.
- the needles 2 are arranged in a row and aligned the same, wherein the sides 3, 4 of adjacent needles 2 face each other.
- the needles 2 are substantially relative to each other along a spatial direction 5 perpendicular to the sides 3, 4 the needles 2 arranged.
- the opposite ones Pages 3, 4 adjacent needles 2 have a distance, the like is dimensioned that the distance between the needles 2 of a predetermined Division on a machine corresponds to the needles 2 are provided for use.
- To keep this distance located between adjacent needles 2 each a plastic plate 8 as a spacer.
- the neighboring ones Needles 2 are each connected by a connecting material.
- connection point 6 is in the rear area 9 of each needle 2 to a common insertion of all needles 2 in the guide channels 24 to allow a knitting machine.
- the plastic tiles 8 have a portion 28 which extends rearwardly over the Guide member 16 of the needles 2 protrudes and so a starting point e.g. for tools, with the help of which plastic flakes 8 simply by twist or bend of the Needles 2 can be separated. It is also conceivable that the Section 28 of the plastic leaflets 8 on the guide member 16 protrudes in the direction of needle foot. This makes it possible by means of a tool the plastic sheets from above the Remove needle 2.
- Fig. 7 shows a plurality of still connected needles 2 a Shipping unit 1, when inserting into the knitting machine simultaneously with the shaft 17 ahead in adjacent, for recording the needles provided guide channels 24 are pushed and already partially received in the guide channels 24 are.
- the Plastic plate 8 is removed by e.g. a pair of pliers over the rear portion 9 of the needles 2 projecting portion 28 is set and the plate preferably by Application of a moment about a rotation axis in the spatial direction 5 perpendicular to the sides 3, 4 of the needles of the needles. 2 separated and pulled out of the space between the needles becomes. Subsequently, the individual needles 2 completely pushed into the guide channels 24.
- FIGS. 8 and 9 show a shipping unit 1, that of several identical needles 2 of the illustrated in Fig. 1 Type for stitch-forming machines exists.

- the needles 2 are substantially relative to each other along a spatial direction 5 perpendicular to the sides 3, 4 the needles 2 arranged.
- the opposite sides 3, 4 of the needles 2 touch, without directly through Bonding material 7 to be glued.
- All needles 2 are with two preferably self-adhesive films 10 connected as common fasteners are used and each needle 2 on a peripheral surface 12 arranged between the sides 3, 4 touch.
- the joints 6 are all Needles 2 arranged the same, the first and last needle.
- each film 10 is substantially perpendicular as a stripe to the sides 3, 4 of the needles 2, wherein they each needle 2 in the joints 6 touched.
- the shipping unit 1 by pulling of the sheets 10 of the needles 2.
- the slides 10 only solved in a subsection, so that only those for removal provided needles 2 are exposed, then be removed.
- the remaining needles 2 are advantageously held together by refastening the foils 10, the by removing a part of the Needles 2 longer protruding ends 11 of the films 10 if necessary. cut off or facing away from the other needles 2 Pages 3, 4 of the outer needles 2 of the remaining part the shipping unit 1 are handled.
