Definitions
- the invention relates to a floor construction or floor coverings consist of differently shaped surface sections, the surface sections made of different materials with different properties are formed.
- German utility model DE 297 10 370 from the prior art is disclosed in this connection a foot massage mat made of rubber or plastic with many areas of different massage intensity, which can be used as a step pad Blood circulation promotion of the feet is used.
- EP 1 124 010 A1 floor damping elements which consist of individual reinforced concrete slabs consist.
- the present invention has an opposite aim in that Buildings of all kinds, mainly in public and private areas However, to design office spaces, but also outdoor areas (e.g. walkways), that when entering and moving around in these rooms addressed as many senses as possible and different pressure sensations the soles of the feet are perceived so that the person entering with changing and faced with unpredictable sensation or sensory stimuli, so that preferably the proprioceptive skills are improved.
- outdoor areas e.g. walkways
- This task is solved by designing the floor construction that the person when moving on this floor construction with one for unpredictable, changing sequence of different surface sections is confronted with different perceptions, preferably in Form of proprioceptive mechanisms of action, cause, based on the model of a forest floor.
- the different design of the surface sections can also consist in that these are not visible to the user and that the floor is as usual, continuous unity is perceived and that the different Design based on invisible and only tangible properties of the surface material relates, for example, to different degrees of hardness and inclusions, which are hidden, round, angular, inclined or regular or irregularly shaped and different perceptions when walking, preferably in the form of proprioceptive mechanisms of action, cause, similar to those when entering a forest floor with uneven, hard and soft, springy and firm areas that keep changing Require muscle tone.
- the surface sections advantageously consist of different materials, which in turn have different properties.
- the surface sections can be designed that the user appears to be looking homogeneous from the outside Trade area (e.g. foam, rubber, other) which is the most varied Inclusions with different material properties.
- the outside Trade area e.g. foam, rubber, other
- Properties here refer in particular to inclusions of different types Density, strength, elasticity, hardness etc. or on the surface roughness Surface structure and the viscosity or elasticity of the material.
- materials bulk material such as sand or gravel come in different Grain, gel-like material, bristle-shaped material but also sprayed material for use.
- the surface can be nubbed, corrugated, corrugated, smooth, rough or with a slant rising, irregular grooves, which are of different heights, Etc.
- the different materials are not within the flooring can move or mix, they can also in different Materials, e.g. in rubber, foam, etc. (then they exist Surface sections made of the same base material and differ only by different inclusions), or there are sealing elements or sealing means provided that the respective materials in their assigned Hold surface section.
- the sealing means are designed such that they prevent leakage of the loose Avoid materials from the floor construction, for example by the floor construction at least partially upwards through a film-like covering material is covered.
- the covering material can be made from an easily deformable Fabric like a thin carpet, a tearproof microfiber or a "non-woven" surface.
- there should be a firmness in this regard have than that when driving the surface with a hand truck, the wheels don't wrinkle.
- the floor structure is mat-like or a supporting substructure has on which a superstructure is mounted, which in turn the different materials.
- the entire floor construction is like this chosen that it can be rolled up like a carpet roll and at Use simply rolled onto the existing, conventional flooring are needed.
- the superstructure e.g. Made of foam with inclusions made of stone, gravel or plastic elements does not lie directly on the floor, but on the Substructure made of a carrier material, such as an EPP (expanded Polypropylene) plate or felt, sisal, jute, hemp or cork fiber. So that will extends the durability of the floor construction.
- EPP expanded Polypropylene
- the invention basically pursues the goal, the perceptions of the person it is intended to increase the materials and / or the materials of the floor construction to be interpreted in such a way that they are not only related to their tactile sensory stimuli Show differences, but also in terms of one Temperature sensation, with regard to the sense of balance, an acoustic and visual perception.
- This is achieved according to the invention in that the corresponding surface sections further elements are provided, which upon entering the respective area section, an irritation of the above Reach the senses.
- Heating or cooling elements also serve the hardness and elasticity of the corresponding Zone influence.
- the foam TEMPUR® e.g. reacts extremely different on heat and cold. It becomes very hard when it is cold and when it is warm quickly very soft. Otherwise, the elements are designed so that when you enter of the respective surface section additionally a visual and / or an acoustic Trigger signal, which leads to the fact that in the case of a person Locomotion in rooms equipped in this way activates different areas of the brain and receive various different afferent nerve impulses. This in turn leads to increased brain activity overall and above all a balanced activity between the right and left hemispherical neural areas.
- a particular advantage of the invention is therefore in the medical field of Proprioception as a sub-area of sensorimotor and confronts the person the room equipped according to the invention constantly with new, changing and especially unexpected stimuli that come directly or indirectly through the sole of the foot be perceived.
- the surface sections are irregular formed in terms of their shape and size, so that there is a mosaic Overall pattern results.
- the materials have different coefficients of elasticity (foam rubber with a high elasticity and for example stone with a very low) or consist of bulk material of different grain sizes, which when entering the Gives way to foot pressure.
- the same effect can be achieved with pillow-like surface sections can be achieved with different gel-like substances are filled and also achieve a different foot perception.
- Materials can therefore be used: stone, gel, plastic, garden hose, pointed and round elements, elastic elements, straight and round, angled, in three dimensions curved or helical elements, as well all other conceivable shapes and materials with different properties.
- the substructure features protruding bearing elements on the level of the substructure, for example from a rod-shaped element with different average (Round material or square material) or in the substructure inset hemispheres, which in turn are designed so that one on this bearing elements arranged tilting element with an eccentric load performs a pivoting movement around the bearing element.
- the bearing elements in the substructure so that the tilting elements executed swivel movement only a small angular range includes, so that the person's sense of balance is addressed, at the same time, however, an "out of balance" is certainly avoided.
- the floor construction according to the invention is as Children's play surface designed that covers a smaller area and also which results in different sensory irritation.
- this embodiment described above is the Floor construction designed like a frame, so that also movable materials such as sand or stones used to fill the surface sections can be.
- a second variant is to make the floor construction mat-like, so that it can be rolled up to save space when not in use and only in Operation is placed on the existing flooring.
- spray materials are used here, which preferably have a relief-like surface structure.
- a plate from carrier material e.g. one EPP sheet carries one foam mat in the other Materials are poured.
- this is at least partially covered with a covering material in the form of a flexible fabric or with a film, preferably one washable film surround that is easy to clean and exercise of the different materials doesn't bother.
- the cover material can also be selected as the bottom layer of the foam on which the Carrier mat and the covering material is arranged.
- the cover layer can also be in the form of a circumferentially closed cover which includes carrier mat and foam and e.g. by tear or Velcro can be opened to the cover or the panels too switch.
- the invention further relates to a method for producing one of the above named floor constructions, the division and / or the shape and Sizing of the individual surface sections according to certain, space-related Criteria are carried out and / or with the aid of a random generator.
- Spatial criteria include: The size of the room, the natural or artificial lighting conditions, a color design, favored Locations of movement ("walking streets"), or for example transition areas in other rooms.
- the method preferably relates to the fact that in a carrier material (for example in a mat made of foam, rubber, TEMPUR®) different Elements (uneven, arbitrarily shaped elements that lead to another sensory stimulus lead when entering).
- a carrier material for example in a mat made of foam, rubber, TEMPUR®
- different Elements uneven, arbitrarily shaped elements that lead to another sensory stimulus lead when entering
- FIG. 1 shows the basic design of the floor construction according to the invention, which is generally designated 10 and consists of several surface sections 12 exists, which in turn are mounted in a superstructure 14.

- a foam layer with plastic inclusions is preferred on a carrier mat made of EPP arranged, which is covered by a cover layer.
- the invention is Floor construction 10 designed so that the individual surface sections 12 have a closed, hollow interior, which is filled with a substance is.
- This substance is preferably an oil or other filler that with different physical conditions also a different one Has viscosity. Therefore, the surface portion 12 filled with oil is still designed so that, for example, the application of an electrical voltage or changing the temperature of the substance (e.g. by heating or Cooling elements) is made possible.
- This, preferably formed as a mat floor structure 10 includes in addition to the oil-like Substance-filled interiors continue to have appropriate electrical connections, in order to be able to change the physical manipulated variables.
- a plastic which changes its tactile perceptible viscosity if a physical manipulated variable that affects him, changes.
- the manipulated variable can include the local pressure and thus the speed of the person entering the floor structure.
- Fig. 5 is in the individual Surface sections formed an arrangement of conductively connected vessels.
- This can be a hose filled with a fluid (see Fig. 4a) act, arranged in predetermined serpentine lines in the superstructure is. The stiffness and the degree of filling of the hose are set so that a movement occurs comparable to a water bed.
- a fluid see Fig. 4a
- the stiffness and the degree of filling of the hose are set so that a movement occurs comparable to a water bed.
- On one Hose bundle is a suitable tread position, which compresses locally of the hose as information "yielding underground" to the foot.
- the upper structure is a fluid-tight one deformable container, e.g. made of plastic, with a fluid of predetermined viscosity arranged.
- a latticework is used in the deformable container opposes a predetermined resistance to evasion of fluid upon entering.
- the individual surface sections exist in a next embodiment 6 from essentially vertically close to each other Chopsticks, with such stiffness being grouped together can. This results in a different hardness profile over one Surface section.
