Definitions
- the invention relates to a stitch formation element, in particular for knitting and Warp knitting machines.
- knitting tools such as knitting or warp knitting machines are known knitting tools that consist of a needle (also known as Kulieradel is called) and a transfer needle.
- the squeegee and the transfer needle are provided with hooks pointing towards one another and in arranged a common needle channel.
- the setting pin can be a recorded one Pull the stitch through a stitch picked up by the transfer needle (A voice to). It is important that the hook tip of the culvert needle passes through finds the stitch held by the transfer needle without piercing the thread.
- Such a knitting tool is known from WO 02/072936 A2.
- the squeegee has a shaft which is provided with a hook at the end. in the In the area of the hook, the shaft is relatively narrow, so that the hook width is less than the width of the rest of the shaft of the wedge needle.
- the shaft of the culvert needle is provided with a recess which leads to the Receiving the transfer hook of the transfer needle is used.
- the transfer hook is for that with a hook tip on both sides with a step, see above that a narrow, nose-shaped projection is formed, which in the in the needle breast the recess (zasche) formed by the wedge needle.
- Knitting tool is a control surface after the needle breast of the culvert needle formed on which a projection formed on the transfer needle runs along. If it passes the ramp-shaped control surface, the distance changes between the stylus and the transfer needle. On the one hand, this creates the basis ensure that the hook of the wedge needle and the hook of the transfer needle are unimpeded can pass each other and that the hook of the transfer needle on the other hand can dip into the tooth formed in the needle breast.
- this Version is the needle hook by the amount of the penetration depth of the transfer hook offset from the needle face, i.e. the chest height is about the depth of penetration of the transfer hook higher than the upper edge of the hook of the culvert needle.
- the special feature of the knitting tool according to the invention is the width the transfer hook of the transfer needle and the width of the chest area of the setting needle. Both the chest area of the stylus and the transfer hook are wider than the shaft of the wedge needle and the transfer needle. The the stitch held by the transfer hook of the transfer needle thus becomes so wide spread that the hook of the culvert needle even at high working speed and when knitting very difficult yarns, the one held by the transfer hook Mesh does not pierce. To do this, the needle channel on its front, the Hook facing the serrated needle, be a little wider at the end, so that the im Chest broadened section of the stylus has enough space to to run without jamming. On the other hand, the wiper needle can also be used in this area experience a lead when the broadening of the chest area to the larger one Width of the needle channel is matched in its front end region.
- the shaft of the wedge needle is included a control surface provided, the one formed on the body of the transfer needle Control surface is assigned. Both control surfaces serve the transfer needle to give a controlled transverse movement to the wedge needle to the distance between the transfer needle and the wiping needle during the work process controlled to increase or decrease. This allows the transfer hook controlled controlled immersion in the tooth provided in the needle breast, whereby very small mesh heights can be achieved. With transverse movement and transverse direction is understood here as a movement in which the stylus and the Approach or remove the transfer needle.
- control surfaces can be used, for example, as a ramp surface and as an associated one Be formed cams. These can positively increase the Needle distance between the wedge needle and the transfer needle, but not a Bring the transfer needle closer to the wiper needle. Remedy can be with a Spring means are created that the transfer needle slightly against the wedge needle biases. In a preferred embodiment, however, the transfer needle is stored without tension on or next to the squeegee. A spring tensioner then serves only then a transverse pressure on the transfer needle to exercise if this is to be brought up to the stylus.
- the shaft of the wedge needle in a zasche on his chest area which extends in the longitudinal direction groove-like recess is formed.
- This groove-like recess is in cross section preferably trapezoidal or wedge-shaped and thus widens towards the top of the needle.
- a nose-like formed on the transfer hook Projection which is preferably approximately complementary to the tine, can then reach into the recess.
- the transfer needle is attached to the wiper needle guided.
- the projection that grips into the pocket facilitates this Transfer of stitches lying on the needle face through the transfer needle.
- the transfer hook has a width that is greater than the width of the Transfer needle shaft.
- the width of the transfer hook is also larger than the width of the hook and the shaft of the wedge needle in its end region 6 as well as behind the chest as seen from the hook Shaft area.
- the width of the cropping needle hook is less than that Shank width of the culvert needle.
- a stitch becomes when it comes from the hook interior the culvert needle is transferred to the enlarged needle chest, on the side expanded and taken over by the transfer hook in this state.
- a piercing a stitch held by the transfer needle through the tip of the hook the wiper needle is also suitable for difficult yarns and at high working speeds not to fear.
- the width of the transfer hook preferably coincides with the width of the Chest area. There are favorable conditions when cultivating.
- the chest area of the stylus and the transfer hook are preferred designed so that the transfer hook on guide surfaces on both sides of the Zasche is guided.
- the corresponding hook areas of the transfer hook can are considered as skids.
- the dimensions of the The culvert needle and the transfer needle are dimensioned so that the transfer hook runs on the guide surfaces under at least a slight preload. This increases security when taking over stitches.
- the knitting tool according to the invention shows little friction in the Relative movement of the culvert needle and the transfer needle. Loss of friction reduced to a small extent.
- the most elastic depending on the working position of the knitting machine Preloading the transfer hook increases the uniformity of the controlled Transverse movement of the transfer needle without any additional adjustment Device on the needle lock.
- the assembly and adjustment are simple of the needle lock and good uniformity of the knitted goods.
- the section of the transfer hook which engages in the pocket can be like an in Protruding nose be formed. It is a means of secure stitch pick-up. It can be particularly fine because the Tension of the thread from the reinforced and widened part of the Transfer hook is added.
- this is on the hook side End of the needle face designed as a sliding surface for the transfer hook. This enables the smallest mesh sizes to be achieved.
- a knitting tool 1 is illustrated, to which a wedge needle 2 and a transfer needle 3 belong. Both are in the needle channel of a needle bed arranged.
- the culvert needle 2 has one along its longitudinal direction 4 elongated shaft 5 on one end or other suitable Place with a drive means, not shown, for example in the form of a foot, which extends away from the shaft 5.
- the foot engages with a lock, which is used for the reciprocating drive the wiper needle 2 serves in its longitudinal direction 4.
- the shaft tapers at its end 6 both in terms of its width as well as its height.
- the height is from the bottom of the needle 7 measured to the needle top 8.
- the width is measured across it.
- the shaft 5 has a chest area 12 which adjoins the end 6.
- the chest area 12 has one between its two flanks 14, 15 Width to be measured, which is the width of the remaining shaft 5, which is different from the Chest area 12 backwards, i.e. extends to the drive device exceeds.
- the chest area 12 thus forms the widest section of the culvert needle 2. In particular, it also exceeds the width of the needle channel that otherwise guides the shaft 5. It is also wider than the hook 9.
- the breast area 12 has a tab 16 in shape on the upper side 8 of the needle a groove extending in the longitudinal direction 4 centrally over the chest area 12 on.
- the groove runs flat at the end facing the hook 9.
- the Groove bottom is essentially flat.
- On both sides of the tab 16 are on the Needle top 8 guide surfaces 17, 18 formed in a common Level. This plane runs above the tip 11 of the hook 9. The latter is preferably slightly below the groove bottom of the tine 16. Die Both guide surfaces 17, 18 go to the hook end of the tooth 16 in Aufgleit vom 21, 22 over, which fall towards the needle underside 7 and themselves thus remove from the plane in which the guide surfaces 17, 18 lie.
- the sliding surfaces 21, 22 preferably extend below the height of the tip 11.
- the tab 16 is at least at its mouth, measured between the guide surfaces 17, 18, wider than the tip 11 of the hook 9.
- the transfer needle 3 has a likewise extending in the longitudinal direction 4 Body 23, which rests with its underside 24 on the needle top 8.
- Figure 1 is an exploded view.
- the body 23 of the transfer needle 3 is with a drive device, not shown, for example in the form of a foot, which e.g. at right angles from that Body 23 extends away and is engaged with a lock curve.
- the drive devices the sinker needle 2 and the transfer needle 3 can relate to this the longitudinal direction 4 give a relative movement to each other.
- the body 23 of the transfer needle 3 is one Transfer hook 26 provided, the width of which is preferably approximately the width of the Breast area 12 corresponds.
- the transfer hook 26 is thus considerably wider than the body 23 of the transfer needle 3 forming a shaft.
- the tip 27 thus runs in an approximately horizontal, i.e. roughly parallel to that Needle top 8, oriented surface.
- This extension 31 is to the tab 16 trained approximately complementary and can drive into this.
- the extension 31 has on its side facing the body 23 an inclined surface 32 which is oriented at an acute angle to the longitudinal direction 4.
- the transfer hook 26 of the transfer needle 3 is essential wider, preferably twice as wide.
- the knitting tool 1 described so far works as follows:
- the transfer needle 3 has its underside 24 on the upper side of the needle 8 of the stylus. It is initially assumed that the hook 9 has taken a stitch.
- the transfer hook 26 is between, for example the hook tip 11 and the sliding surfaces 21, 22 2 and the transfer needle 3 moved in the direction of expulsion (FIG. 1 to the left), the stitch slides onto the guide surfaces 17, 18 of the chest area 12 and becomes thereby widened.
- the transfer needle 3 experiences a backward movement, whereby the projection 32 enters the tab 16 and there takes up the stitch. This then slides into the interior of the transfer hook 26.
- the hook 9 picks up a thread, which is now through a relative retraction of the culvert needle 2 relative to the transfer needle 3 by the stitches picked up by the transfer hook 26 are drawn (accumulated) can.
- the knitting tool 1 is therefore suitable as a reliable knitting tool for both processing difficult yarns as well as to achieve high working speeds.
- FIG. 3 illustrates the wiping process in which the wiping needle 2 their new stitch formed from the thread 33 through the in the Transfer hook 26 pulls stitch 34 lying.
- the transfer hook 26 runs with it some play past the hook 9.
- Figure 4 illustrates the Condition after knitting the stitch 34 from the transfer hook 26 and
- Figure 5 illustrates a state immediately before that in Figure 2 Condition occurs. In the state according to FIG.
- the wedge needle is on the Transfer needle 3 has been driven out, the hook 9 on the transfer hook 26 has passed without touching it. This is done by a sufficient height offset between the guide surfaces 17, 18 and the hook 9 reached.
- the height offset is the sum of the immersion depth of the transfer hook 26 in the pocket 16 and an additional clearance, which also at If there are installation and functional tolerances, a non-contact passage of the hook 9 on the transfer hook 26 ensures.
- FIGS. 6 to 9 show a modified embodiment of the invention Knitting tool illustrated in different views.
- This embodiment is particularly true with regard to the width of the chest area 12, the ratio of this width to the width of the shaft 5 and to the width the transfer hook 26 and to the hook 9 with that described above Embodiment match.
- the one at the entire needle height Widening of the breast area 12 relative to the shaft 5 is shown in the figure 6 recognizable.
- the hook 9 is preferably significantly narrower than that Shank 5. It is preferably less than half the width of the chest area 12.
- the transfer hook 26 has a width which exceeds that of the shaft 5 and preferably coincides with that of the chest area 12.
- the guide surfaces 17, 18 are formed by relatively narrow edges with a slight Merge rounding into tooth 16.
- the guide surfaces 17, 18 lie in one plane E that the hook 9 touches.
- the hook 9 can, if necessary, with its tip 11 also lie in this plane.
- the tip of the extension 31st Around the passage of the extension 31 of the transfer hook To allow 26 on the hook 9, the tip of the extension 31st the in a common plane with the bottom 24 or in some Safety distance to this. Is the transfer needle 3 with its underside 24 the guide surfaces 17, 18 is between the hook 9 and the extension 31st of the transfer hook 26 is a small safety distance which serves to compensate for tolerances present in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction 4. For example is the hook 9 below the level E, while the extension 31 above the Level E lies.
- the shaft 5 of the wedge needle 2 is provided with a control surface 36, for example following the chest area 12 towards the shaft 5 on that of the Hook 9 facing away from the side and an inclination to the longitudinal direction 4 has.
- the inclination of the control surface 36 is such that it forms a ramp on which a second control surface 37 can slide along the transfer needle 3 is provided.
- the control surface 37 is for example as a curve in the transition between the bottom 24 and a step-shaped Recess 38 formed, which is dimensioned so large that it is the above Can accommodate needle chest when the bottom 24 behind the control surface 36 abuts the shaft 5.
- the control surface 36 has a transverse to the longitudinal direction 4 Height that is at least as large as the desired immersion depth of the extension 31 into the pocket 16.
- the control surface 36 can be straight or in ramp-like manner Side view be S-shaped.
- FIG. 9 also shows the guide runners 28, 29 which are shown in FIG Figure 1 are partially covered. They limit the transfer hook 26 downwards and mark the transition from the transfer hook 26 to the protrusion 31.
- FIGS. 10 to 13 illustrates the transfer of the stitch 34 by the transfer hook 26 correspond to the process described in connection with FIG. 2.
- the underside 24 of the transfer needle 3 lies on the shaft 5 behind the control surface 36 on, whereby the projection 31 dips into the tab 16.
- the guide runners 28, 29 can preferably under slight elastic bias to the Guide surfaces 17, 18 abut. The latter are to maintain clarity Reference numerals in Figure 10 omitted.
- the projection 31 is thus below the plane E, which is marked by the guide surfaces 17, 18, and on which the hook 9 reaches.
- the culvert needle 2 as illustrated in FIG Retracted longitudinally.
- the control surface 36 comes on the control surface 37 and presses the transfer needle 3 away from the wedge needle 2.
- the Push-away movement means a transverse movement of the transfer needle 3 in relation onto the stylus needle 2.
- the stroke is so large that the projection 31 of the Transfer hook 26 above that through the needle face or its guide surfaces 17, 18 defined level is positioned. He can therefore freely on the hook 9 run past and the hook 9 can run freely past the transfer hook 26.
- FIG. 12 shows the knitting tool 1 with the transfer needle still driven out 3. In this state, the transfer hook 26 has thrown off the newly formed stitch and the knitted fabric hangs exclusively on the culvert needle 2.
- FIG. 13 illustrates the driving out of the culvert needle 2.
- the last stitch of the knitted fabric slips onto the chest area 12 in preparation the stitch transfer according to Figure 10.
