  • the punch 14 is moved upwards again, after which the mattress layer 22 is moved a suitable distance ahead over the table 1 by means of the driving mechanism 3 and the punch is moved downwards again in order for a next strip to be punched.

  • Figure 9 clearly shows that the zones 2 provided with perforations 6 are located near those parts of a user's body 9 where the user secretes the most sweat, viz. the neck 10, the back 11 and the thighs 12. At these locations the bodily fluid is indeed directly discharged in downward direction through the perforations 6, so that the latex foam layer 1 that is in contact with the user's body 9 will remain dry at all times, and consequently will not be affected by fungoid growth or the like.
  • the varying thickness of the layer 1 in the profiles zones 3 makes the mattress feel softer or harder in said zones 3, as desired, depending on the shape and the dimensions of the corrugations.

Claims (6)

  1. Matelas supérieur constitué de mousse de latex, dans lequel la couche vulcanisée (1) de mousse de latex est dotée de perforations (6), dans au moins une zone (5) de la surface supérieure (2), caractérisé en ce qu'un profil (4) est présent dans au moins une zone (3) de ladite surface supérieure (2), dans lequel lesdites zones (3-5) s'étendent à travers la largeur du matelas et en ce que les zones (5) dotées de perforations (6) et les zones (3) dotées d'un profil (4) alternent selon la direction longitudinale.
  2. Matelas supérieur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les zones (5) dotées de perforations (6) sont situées près des parties du corps d'un utilisateur (9) qui sécrètent le plus de sueur, en particulier le cou (10), le dos (11) et les cuisses (12).
  3. Matelas supérieur selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit profil (4) est sous la forme d'un motif d'ondulations.
  4. Matelas supérieur selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que les ondulations dudit motif d'ondulations s'étendent dans la direction de la largeur du matelas.
  5. Matelas supérieur selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le matelas supérieur présente une structure à cellules fermées le long de sa surface supérieure (2) et de sa surface inférieure (7).
  6. Utilisation d'un matelas supérieur selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, sur une construction à ressorts.
