Abstract

Verfahren zum Behandeln von erneut bebilderbaren Druckformen oder Druckformzylindern in Druckmaschinen, wobei die Oberfläche der Druckform (12)/des Druckformzylinders (4) hydrophil ist, auf diese durch einen Strahldrucker (8) eine hydrophobe, bebilderbare Schicht aufgebracht wird und anschließend das Bebildern mittels einer Bebilderungseinrichtung (9) erfolgt.
Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, ein Verfahren zum Behandeln von erneut bebilderbaren Druckformen oder Druckformzylindern in Druckmaschinen zu entwickeln, durch das unter Einhaltung hoher Qualitätskriterien ein Minimum an Beschichtungsmaterial verbraucht wird und nahezu keine Verbrennungsrückstände erzeugt werden.
Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, dass die Bereiche der Oberfläche der Druckform (12)/des Druckformzylinders (4), denen Motive (13, 14) zugeordnet sind, ermittelt werden und die bebilderbare Schicht so aufgetragen wird, dass nur diese Bereiche einschließlich eines über die Motive (13, 14) hinausgehenden minimalen Randbereichs (16) beschichtet werden.
