Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device and a method for processing excavation, in particular soil excavation.
  • waste treatment for example in the foundry, it may be necessary to crush slag, slag solidified in metal vessels, glazed foundry sands or similar waste and, if necessary, to separate them according to their constituents.
  • a preparation device is required which can process the materials mentioned and which is set up for these materials with regard to the grain size of the material fed in and its strength. If these conditions are not met, known processing facilities will reach their limits.
  • the device according to the invention enables the comminution and disintegration of very many materials including mineral material, excavated soil, slags, slags solidified in metal vessels (metal and slag separate during comminution), waste, raw materials (salt), wood, residues, etc. in particular Mixtures of materials can be processed that contain both brittle and sticky, plastic (cohesive) material.
  • the device ensures that coarse-grained components such as stones, boulders, concrete blocks or tree stumps present in the material are comminuted in such a way that their grain size does not exceed a desired maximum dimension.
  • the maximum dimension can be set to, for example, 60 mm or other dimensions, depending on the design of the device.
  • the device can also be used to prepare rocky soil excavation without prior material separation.
  • the material processed in this way can be used, for example, on the spot be reinstalled. Contained stones are crushed and mixed with cohesive soil parts.
  • the processing of rock mixed with cohesive material without prior separation using the notch crusher according to the invention has the essential advantage that the processed material can be used to produce a stable substructure without the addition of binders.
  • the device according to the invention has a feed device for feeding material that is to be processed.
  • the feed device is formed, for example, by a funnel or a trough or some other open container, on the underside of which an opening leading to the notch crusher is provided.
  • the notch crusher has at least two counter-rotating shafts on which spaced wedge elements are arranged. These are provided with active surfaces which initially only come into contact with larger objects, such as stones, which may be contained in the material to be prepared, in the form of points or lines and thereby exert a notch effect. Wedge surfaces adjoin the active surfaces, which form an acute angle with one another and, when the shafts rotate, burst open the material into which they penetrate.
  • At least some wedge elements are oriented so that their active surfaces (tips) point essentially in the circumferential direction with respect to the shafts. This means that the wedge elements point towards each other when they are above the shafts, on the side facing the feeding device.
  • the wedge elements point towards each other when they are above the shafts, on the side facing the feeding device.
  • the device according to the invention crushes coarse components contained in the material to be processed.
  • Coarse components are those parts whose grain size is larger than the maximum grain size desired in the processing material.
  • an areal contact between moving parts of the device and coarse components is avoided. This is done by the wedge elements projecting so far away from the shaft and all other elements moving with the shafts that a ball whose diameter is larger than the maximum diameter of the desired end grain is only touched by the active surfaces of the wedge elements. This means that only pointed elements interact with the coarse components. All blunt surfaces and elements are set back against the pointed elements.
  • this means that a receiving space is provided between the wedge elements of the shafts, into which no other parts of the shafts protrude and which is larger than the ball mentioned. This enables coarse components of the material to fall so far between the waves that the corresponding chunks can be gripped and split by the tips of the wedge elements.
  • the wedge elements are each held on radial projections which extend away from the shafts.
  • Some wedge elements can be arranged so that they face one surface (opposite shaft). Here- only one wedge element is split between chunks by notching.
  • the shafts of the notch crusher can be arranged horizontally. Alternatively, they can be inclined or arranged vertically. In the case of a non-horizontal arrangement, it may be expedient to fix the axial spacing of the wedge elements closer at a lower position than at a higher position.
  • the wedge elements can be staggered on a helical line to convey cohesive components downwards. Fins or blades attached to the shafts can also be used for this purpose.
  • Cohesive material is easily conveyed between them by the counter-rotating movement of the two shafts.
  • individual components of the material to be processed are too large to be converted directly into the desired smaller grain sizes by the wedge elements, such components can initially be on the shafts and their wedge elements stay there without clogging or jamming the notch crusher.
  • the stones or boulders are fed to the notch crusher, for example, only with their own weight and can therefore also dodge upwards or be rejected several times by the wedge elements, until they finally reach a suitable section between the wedge elements and the comminution begins. This is promoted by the arrangement of the wedge elements on a helix.
  • a pressing device can also be installed above the notch crusher, e.g. be provided in the form of a heavy cover. This prevents individual large chunks from repeatedly evading the notch crusher.
  • the processing device can be used as a granulating device.
  • an arbitrarily operated closure for example in the form of two pivotably mounted flaps, can be provided under the notch crusher (which is a splitting device).
  • the flaps are preferably shaped so that there is no dead space under the notch crusher.
  • the material in the notch crusher is not released after one pass, but remains exposed to the action of the wedge elements. If all components of the material mixture are split up so far that they are smaller than the smallest chisel-chisel distance and the smallest distance between other elements that move against each other, no further comminution occurs and the material can be removed from the notch by opening the flaps.
  • Crusher to be fired.
  • the shafts and the parts connected to them are set at a distance from one another that ensures that finer components of the material are no longer shredded. This is particularly so because there are no pinch areas between the waves in which larger accumulations of finer material could form, which is then further shredded.
  • the counter-rotating shafts have a very strong impact, which also counteracts the formation of material accumulations even if the material has a higher clay content and is moist.
  • the processing device can have a dispenser device which is set up to dispense aggregate in the material mixture.
