Definitions
- the invention relates to a flashlight, in which as Illuminant LEDs are used.
- the invention is therefore based on the object To create flashlight that offers the opportunity as Retrofit lamps or LED's if necessary conventional light sources or the new LED's dismissfacten.
- This connector is on a printed circuit board, the has two electrically isolated areas with the or connected to the illuminants.
- the advantage of such a flat circuit board is that the parallel connection several lamps is possible at the same time.
- the Lamp head integrates several white LEDs that are concentric are arranged to an imaginary central axis.
- the white LEDs are on a lamp holder attached. Ideally, the LED's with this Illuminate the lamp support platform immediately, so that a robust lamp holder is given, which in their durability and insensitivity conventional Lamp holders is far superior.
- the lamp head is on the of the shaft piece opposite side of a transparent cover preferably made of plexiglass.
- a transparent cover preferably made of plexiglass.
- the transparent Perspex cover recessed biconvex lenses preferably corresponds to the number of the LEDs integrated in the lamp head.
- the lenses are inclined towards one another in the sense of bundling, so that the beam axes of the lenses are bundled.
- the inclination of the lenses is ideally selected as a function of the distance of the illuminants from the lenses or their focal plane.
- Multi-cell nickel metal hydride battery for power supply the illuminant integrated.
- Such nickel-metal hydride batteries have in the preferred application here frequent recharging as robust and durable proven durable.
- the battery is on the end facing away from the lamp head of the shaft housing a charging plug is provided.
- the plug contact arranged on this side can be used for the batteries can be charged in a conventional household socket.
- the charging plug can be closed with a cap become.
- the cap prevents damage to the Plug contacts and also improves manageability the flashlight.
- the shaft housing of the flashlight has an im Essentially in rectangular cross-section with rounded Corners from which in the area of the lamp head continuously in a square cross section is transferred.
- the square shape is particularly in connection with four white LEDs are advantageous, which saves space in this way concentric to an imaginary central axis of the flashlight can be arranged.
- the flashlight head is attached to the shaft housing via a Locking contour releasably connected.
- the flashlight 1 shown in FIG. 1 can essentially three sections can be divided. It is about the lamp head 2, the adjoining shaft piece 3, which on the side facing away from the lamp head 2 in a cap 4 merges.

- the lamp head 2 is made according to the not to scale Sectional view and detailed view in Fig. 2 in Essentially from a plastic enclosure 11, which on the a transparent end facing away from the shaft piece Plexiglass cover 12 surrounds.
- this transparent plexiglass covers 12 are biconvex lenses 13 inserted.
- the biconvex Lenses 13 at an angle to that from the surface the transparent plexiglass cover 12 formed level adjusted so that the beams of the lenses 13 themselves unite in a central illuminated dot.
- the number of lenses 13 corresponds to the number of lenses in lamp integrated into the lamp head.
- So-called white LEDs 14 are arranged in the lamp head as illuminants. Instead of the white LEDs 14, LEDs 14 could of course also be arranged in a different color spectrum, for example in blue.
- the LEDs 14 are fastened on a lamp carrier 15. It is a circular plexiglass pane which is fastened at a defined distance from the transparent cover 12 by means of spacers 16.
- the spacers 16 are also made of plexiglass manufactured so that the transparent cover 12 together with the Illuminant carrier 15 and the spacers 16 in one Piece can be made. In this step the LEDs 14 are preferably fixed to the lamp carrier 15 shed. It is a pronounced one robust and almost non-destructive fastening of the LEDs 14, the robustness of conventional lamp holders is far superior.
- the illuminant carrier carries 15 four white LEDs 14 on an imaginary Circumference concentric to an imaginary axial Central axis of the flashlight 1 on the lamp holder 15 are arranged.
- the lenses 13 are each in the Beam path of the LED's 14 arranged. From this it follows that that the number of lenses 13 the number of inserted LED's 14 corresponds.
- the distance between the illuminant carrier 15 or the LED's 14 from the lenses 13 is in one predetermined relationship to the angle of inclination of the lenses 13 or from their beam axis to an imaginary one Surface level of the transparent cover 12.
- the lenses are at an angle of about 2 degrees from the surface level of the transparent Cover 12 turned, or inclined towards each other.
- the bulb holder encloses radially on the inside also encapsulated with the illuminant carrier Connector 17, which consists essentially of a ring electrode arrangement with a central pin electrode 20 and a coaxial ring electrode 21.
- the connector 17 corresponds in its construction in essential of a conventional lamp holder, such as For example, a halogen lamp, as usually in Flashlights 1 are used. Because of this structure of the connector 17, the lamp head 2 with the LEDs 14 in connection with a shaft piece 3 and its integrated battery can be used, which was previously in Used in conjunction with a conventional lamp holder has been. The new lamp head 2 with the integrated LEDs 14 can therefore be used with existing shaft pieces 3 be retrofitted or existing shaft pieces 3 used as a removable battery for the new lamp head 2 become. This is particularly advantageous because the Lifetime of the white LEDs and their radiance is far superior to previous halogen lamps.
- Another advantage is the lower energy consumption of the white LEDs compared to conventional halogen lamps.
- the pin electrode 20 becomes a connection contact to the in the shaft piece 3 arranged power supply connected.
- a ring electrode 21 of the connector 17th forms the mass pole of the electrode arrangement.
- Below the Illuminant carrier 15 is held by a fastening piece 22 a printed circuit board 23 for parallel connection the LEDs 14 provided.
- the printed circuit board 23 acts it is a square circuit board with a internal bore that is spaced from the connector 17 arranged below the lamp carrier 15 is.
- the printed circuit board 23 comprises two electrically isolated areas, one with the pin electrode 20 and one with the ring electrode 21 electrically conductive connected is.
- the contacts of the LEDs 14 are with the printed circuit board 23 connected, with one contact each at voltage and one Contact to ground.
- the lamp head 2 described above can due to Construction of the connector 17, as already mentioned, without further connected to a conventional shaft piece 3 become.
- a flashlight 1 with a Lamp head 2 for retrofitting existing shaft pieces 3 described the one with a higher light output has lower energy requirements.
