Abstract

Eine Duschabtrennung enthält ein um eine Drehachse (8) bezüglich eines weiteren Elements (6) mittels wenigstens eines Scharniers (2) aus einer Schließposition in eine offene Position und umgekehrt schwenkbar gelagerten Türelement (4), wobei das Scharnier (22) einen ersten Scharnierteil (20) mit einem Scharnierbolzen (35) und einen weiteren Scharnierteil (22) mit einem Lagerkörper (24) des Scharnierbolzens (35) enthält und wobei das Türelement (4) und das weitere Element (6) jeweils einander zugeordnete vertikale Längskanten (14, 16) aufweisen. Eine derartige Duschabtrennung soll mit geringem konstruktivem Aufwand dahingehend weiter gebildet werden, dass das Türelement (4) in einfacher und definierter Weise sowohl beim Öffnen als auch beim Schließen geschwenkt werden kann und in der Schließposition eine funktionssichere Abdichtung gewährleistet ist. Hierzu wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Lagerkörper (24) zumindest teilweise in eine Ausnehmung (48) des Türelements (4) oder des weiteren Elements (6) eingreift, dass im Lagerkörper (24) wenigstens ein Federelement (40, 41) angeordnet ist, welches mit vorgegebener Vorspannung an der Außenfläche des Scharnierbolzens (35) anliegt, wobei in der Schließposition zwischen den vertikalen Längskanten (14, 16) ein Freiraum (25) vorhanden ist. In dem Freiraum (25) ist ein an der einen vertikalen Längskante (16) ein Dichtelement (18) angeordnet, welches über den Bereich des Scharnieres (2) durchgehend ausgebildet ist und sowohl an einer Dichtfläche (19) eines der Ausnehmung (48) zugeordneten Körpers (24) als auch an der vertikal nach oben und unten anschließenden anderen Längskante (18) dichtend anliegt.
