Description

The present invention relates to a drainage device for installation in the floor of a room according to the preamble of claim 1.

A drain device of the aforementioned type is made US4463461 or from the German patent application DE 197 11 602 A1 known. Thereby DE 19711602 A1 ), the receiving means are formed by a drain part, which is embedded in an outbreak of a soil and on its underside tubular, concentrically arranged drain pipe for connection to a downpipe designed as a drainpipe. The inlet part is designed to be height adjustable with respect to the drain part over elaborately formed threaded sleeves and threaded rods, wherein the threaded rods can be supported on the floor of the room.

In particular, it proves to be disadvantageous in the case of the drainage device from the prior art that a comparatively complicated seal is formed between the inlet part designed as a drainage unit and the receiving means designed as a drainage part. For the formation of the seal a circumferential support member is formed on the inside of the drain part, which can accommodate a connectable with this sealing element. This sealing element is in the assembled state of the drain device sealingly on the outside of the lower pipe socket of the inlet part. A disadvantage here proves further that in any case a complicated structure, to be fitted into the bottom of the room drain part must be used, which must fit exactly to the inlet part with respect to the male between the support member and the associated sealing element pipe socket of the inlet part. It exists thus after installation of the drain part in the bottom of the room no longer the ability to use inlet parts with different outer diameters of the lower pipe socket.

From the US 4,463,461 a drain device is known in which a drain pot is provided with a receptacle into which a pipe socket protrudes from below. On the outside of the pipe socket, a sealing ring is arranged, which seals the pipe socket opposite the drain pot. The pipe socket is held vertically adjustable in the receptacle. The lower end of the pipe socket engages in a drain pipe.

From the GB 1,190,773 is a connection between a drain pot and a drain pipe known. In one embodiment of the connection described therein, a flexible sleeve is pushed onto a lower tubular end of the drain pot, the outside of which has a lip seal. This tubular end can be inserted into the drain pipe. In another embodiment of the connection described therein, a drain pot is connected to a tubular member made of a flexible material and having on its outside a lip seal. This tubular part can also be inserted into the drain pipe.

From the EP 1 010 827 A2 is a surface runner, which comprises a plurality of frontally interconnected gutter elements. In each case, two of the channel elements are fixed by a connecting shoe via a latching connection to each other. To seal this connection, the connection shoe on a pair of lip seals, each on one of the channel elements can be present. The lip seals can be inserted, sprayed, vulcanized or overmolded by the connection shoe.

The problem underlying the present invention is the provision of a drain device of the type mentioned above, which is constructed simpler and more variable.

This is inventively achieved in that the seal is designed as a lip seal, which is sprayed onto the outside of the pipe socket, wherein the height adjustment of drainage unit relative to the receiving means is given by the fact that provided with the lip seal pipe socket in the receiving portion or in the drain pipe after can be moved up and / or down. The lip seal proves to be effective and simply constructed sealing element, which is much cheaper to produce compared to the prior art. Nevertheless, such a lip seal is a backflow-proof sealing element. The height adjustment is therefore realized with the simplest means, namely by providing a lip seal, which is arranged on the outside of a pipe socket and despite displacement of the pipe socket relative to the receiving means in the vertical direction, the connection between receiving means and the drain unit reliably seals.

In this case, the lip seal may advantageously have a plurality of spaced-apart lips. This increases the sealing ability of the lip seal.

The lip seal may in particular be made in one piece. Furthermore, the lip seal may preferably consist of elastomers. A one-piece design made of elastomers guarantees on the one hand a corresponding elasticity and adaptability different receiving means and on the other hand ensures sufficient tightness of the lip seal.

According to the invention, the lip seal is sprayed onto the pipe socket. By spraying results in a firm connection between the lip seal and the pipe socket. Furthermore, the spraying is a production method in which the shape of the lip seal is specifically adapted to the requirements and correspondingly easy to produce.

The receiving means may further comprise a subsequent to the pipe socket receiving portion connecting portion which is connected to the drain pipe and connectable. The upwardly open pipe socket-like receiving portion need not have sleeves or the like in order to connect to the pipe socket of the drain unit. Rather, it may be an unstructured pipe socket. Alternatively, the receiving means may be formed as an open end of the drain pipe. By such a configuration of the receiving means, the drain device according to the invention can be installed very variable in the bottom of a room. Ultimately, only the drainpipe at the desired location on site must be cut off. Subsequently, the pipe socket provided with the lip seal the drain unit can be inserted into the cut end of the drain pipe. The lip seal offers the advantage that a drain unit can be inserted with a predetermined outer diameter of the pipe socket due to the flexible lip seal in drain pipes with different inner diameters. For example, while the inner diameter of the drain pipe from 100 mm to 108 mm for a given outer diameter of the pipe socket of the drain unit vary.

The cut-off drainpipes can also be laid drainpipes in old buildings that are being renovated. In this case, the existing, cut, serving as receiving means drainage pipes are not part of the drainage device according to the invention.

According to the invention, it is possible for the drainage unit to comprise an odor trap. Furthermore, there is the possibility that the drainage unit comprises a cleaning closure.

According to the invention, it can be provided that the drainage unit has a cover on its upper side. This cover may for example be provided with a hinged lid. Furthermore, there is the possibility that the cover is gas-tight fixable to the drain unit, in particular by means of a screw means. It thus turns out that the drainage unit can be configured comparatively arbitrarily, without thereby impairing the connection possibility according to the invention with the receiving means.

In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the drain unit serves as a pipe connector. Here, the drainage unit may include the pipe socket and a pipe receiving the inlet opening, which is preferably provided with an inner seal, in particular a lip seal. In the pipe receiving a pipe can be inserted so that the connection between the pipe and pipe receiving is sealed to the outside. At the same time, the pipe socket with lip seal can be introduced, for example, into a cut-off drain pipe located in the bottom. The drainage device with drainage unit designed in this way serves as a pipe connection piece or as a connection piece and can in particular ensure that a pipe, which leads, for example, to wastewater, can be easily connected to a drain pipe already present in the floor.

Furthermore, the receiving means 1 on an adjoining the connecting portion 4 upwardly open pipe socket-like receiving portion. Instead of such a combination of a connecting portion 4 and a receiving portion, the receiving means 1 may also be formed as an open end of the drain pipe 3. In particular, this needs upwards open or upwardly projecting end of the drain pipe no whatever kind of sleeve or no specially shaped connection area for receiving the drain unit 2 may be formed.

The drain unit 2 has an upper inlet opening 6 and a lower drain opening 7, which are fluidically connected to each other. In the illustrated embodiment, the drain opening 7 represents the lower end of a pipe stub 8 enclosed by the drain unit 2. The pipe stub 8 has on its outer side a lip seal 10 formed of a plurality of lips 9 arranged one above the other.

The lip seal 10 is sprayed onto the pipe socket 8 from the outside. The lip seal 10 is in particular made in one piece and is preferably made of elastomers.

In the in Fig. 1 . At the in Fig. 4 shown embodiment of a drain unit 13 are the same parts with the same reference numerals. In this drain unit 13, no odor trap is received in the pipe socket 8. However, the cover 14 of the drain unit 13 is different than in FIG Fig. 3 provided with a hinged lid 15. Of course, according to the invention, it is also possible to equip a drain unit 2 provided with an odor trap 11a, 11b with a hinged lid. Furthermore, of course, there is also the possibility of a drain unit 13, the no odor trap has to provide with a simple cover without hinged lid.

Another embodiment of a drainage unit according to the invention may comprise a cleaning closure. The drain unit can continue to have a gas-tight manner by means of a screw on the drainage unit fixable cover.

In the Fig. 5 Illustrated embodiment of a drain unit 16 is formed as a pipe connector or as a connector. Again, the same parts with the same reference numerals as in the Fig. 1 to Fig. 4 Mistake. At the pipe socket 8, a pipe receptacle 17 connects at the top, at the upper end of the inlet opening 6 is formed. The tube receptacle 17 has on its inside a seal formed as a lip seal 18.

In the pipe receiving 17 can from the top a pipe that can lead, for example, wastewater, are introduced. Furthermore, the pipe socket 8, for example, in an upwardly open in the ground, for example, to be renovated old building, located drain pipe end piece are introduced. The drain unit 16 according to Fig. 5 can serve as a pipe connector between pipes in this way, which can lead, for example, wastewater.
