Description

  • La présente invention concerne une cartouche fermée, prévue pour être extraite sous pression, contenant une substance pour la préparation d'une boisson choisie parmi le café torréfié et moulu, le thé, le café soluble, un mélange de café moulu et de café soluble, un produit chocolaté ou toute autre substance comestible déshydratée, comprenant une coupelle avec un fond avec partie centrale et partie périphérique et une paroi latérale ayant sensiblement la forme d'un tronc de cône et un rebord circulaire de diamètre supérieure au fond et un opercule soudé sur le pourtour du rebord de la coupelle, l'opercule est destiné à être déchiré sous le seul effet de la poussée du fluide d'extraction au début de l'extraction.
  • La cartouche hermétiquement close décrite ci-dessus est le sujet du brevet EP 512'468, au nom de la demanderesse. Cette cartouche est soumise à une extraction avec le dispositif constituant le sujet du brevet EP 512'470. Cette extraction s'effectue de la manière suivante : la cartouche est insérée dans un support de cartouche et dans une cage d'extraction. Cette cage d'extraction comprend une aiguille qui perce le fond de la coupelle et, lorsque la pression de la cartouche s'élève, l'opercule bute contre des éléments en saillie et en creux du dispositif d'extraction. Lorsque la pression atteint un certain niveau, l'opercule atteint sa tension de rupture et s'ouvre, laissant le café s'écouler dans la tasse. A la fin de l'extraction, il est possible d'enlever la cartouche du système d'extraction afin d'y placer la suivante. Lorsque ladite cartouche est enlevée, il existe un trou au fond de la coupelle et ce trou permet à l'eau résiduelle et à la mouture de café de s'échapper. Cette fuite de mouture pose un problème car elle salit une partie de la machine d'extraction.
  • Le but de la présente invention est de mettre au point une cartouche prévue pour la cage d'extraction telle que mentionné ci-dessus et qui ne conduit pas à des fuites de marc ou de toute autre substance solide au moment du changement de ladite cartouche.
  • La présente invention concerne une cartouche fermée selon la préambule de la revendication 1, comprenant dans la coupelle au niveau du fond, un moyen garantissant la rétention de substance solide lors de son ouverture, qui est une feuille de tissu scellée dans le fond de la coupelle sur deux zones, d'une part dans la partie centrale et d'autre part dans la partie périphérique dudit fond. Le scellage sur la partie périphérique du fond peut être effectué sur toute la périphérie ou seulement sur une partie de ladite périphérie. Il s'agit de disposer dans chaque cartouche un système anti-retour de marc de café ou de toute autre substance solide extraite dans ladite cartouche.
  • Le tissu utilisé selon l'invention est d'une part d'un coût acceptable et d'autre part de réalisation simple, permettant une ouverture facile de la capsule par les pointes d'injection, résistant bien à l'eau chaude et donnant une bonne fermeture après l'extraction, c'est-à-dire au moment du dégagement de la cartouche.
  • Le tissu utilisé peut être tout type de tissu, tissé ou non tissé en fibres plastiques, en fibres végétales ou en fibres animales. Le tissu utilisé est de préférence du tissu en polypropylène,polyester, polyuréthane, polyamide, cellulose ayant une épaisseur comprise entre 15 et 200 microns. Le tissu est scellé à chaud dans les deux zones précitées du fond de la coupelle.
  • L'opercule est thermosoudée ou sertie sur le pourtour de la coupelle. On obtient ainsi une cartouche resistant à des pressions pouvant aller jusqu'à 15 bar dans le système d'extraction.
  • La cartouche est remplie d'une substance pour la préparation d'une boisson , comme mentionné ci-dessus. Cette substance est de préférence du café torréfié et moulu.
  • Par coupelle, on entend aussi bien un élément tronconique, hémisphérique ou troncpyramidal. Il est bien entendu que le fond de la coupelle n'est pas obligatoirement plan.
  • Le corps principal de la cartouche, à savoir la coupelle, de forme tronconique et de nature semi-rigide, peut être constitué en un matériau choisi parmi l'aluminium ayant une épaisseur de 20 à 100 microns, un plastique pur ou multi-couches, un composite carton/aluminium/plastique et un composite carton/plastique.
  • L'opercule de la cartouche, de nature souple, peut être en un matériau choisi parmi l'aluminium d'une épaisseur de 15 à 60 µm et un multi-couches comprenant, soit du papier de 20 à 60 g/m2, du plastique d'une épaisseur de 20 à 60 µm et de l'aluminium d'une épaisseur de 5 à 20 µm, soit de l'EVOH ou du PVDC d'une épaisseur de 5 à 30 µm et du plastique (PP, PE ou PA) de 20 à 100 µm, soit du PET (5 à 30 µm) et du plastique (PP, PE) de 20 à 100 µm, soit du PET métallisé ou muni d'une couche haute barrière telle que Si02.
  • La cartouche selon l'invention peut être de taille variable suivant le volume de café que l'on souhaite préparer. La dose de café peut varier entre 5 et 20 g, le diamètre de la cartouche est compris entre 2,5 et 6 cm et l'épaisseur du lit de café entre 10 et 40 mm.
  • La suite de la description est faite en référence aux dessins sur lesquels :
    • Fig. 1 est une représentation schématique de la cartouche selon l'invention et
    • Fig. 2 est une coupe partielle de la cage à capsule pour l'extraction de la cartouche de la figure 1.
  • La solution de l'invention selon la figure 1 est de prévoir dans la cartouche (10) présentant une coupelle (12) avec fond (13) et paroi latérale (14) avec un rebord circulaire (20) et un opercule (15) une couche de tissu (16) en polyuréthane ayant une épaisseur de 60 microns dans le fond (13). Cette couche est scellée sur deux zones du fond de la coupelle, à savoir dans la partie centrale (17) et dans la partie périphérique (18) dudit fond. Le scellage est fait sur toute la périphérie du fond. Le lit de café (19) est déposé sur le tissu (16). La cartouche représentée contient 5 g de café, elle a un diamètre de 35 mm et une épaisseur de lit de café de 30 mm. Le scellage de la partie centrale est fait sur un diamètre de l'ordre de 8 mm et celui de la partie périphérique sur une largeur de l'ordre de 1-2 mm.
  • La cage à capsules (1) selon la figure 2 comprend un filetage (2) pour être vissée sur la machine à café. Le logement (3) est nécessaire pour y disposer un joint permettant une bonne étanchéité du système. Le canal (4) permet l'arrivée de l'eau dans le logement (5) de la capsule. Directement à la sortie du canal (4), on dispose le système de perçage (6) constitué de 3 pointes avec ajourements (9).
  • Lorsqu'on veut extraire la cartouche de la figure 1, on la place dans le logement (5) de la cage à capsule (1). Les pointes (6) vont entailler le fond de la coupelle et percer ou repousser le tissu entre les deux zones de scellage (17) et (18). L'intérêt de ce tissu est qu'il résiste au perçage et l'eau passe à travers ledit tissu et dans le cas où le tissu est quand même percé, en fin d'extraction sa souplesse et son élasticité lui permet de se refermer lorqu'on retire lesdites pointes de la cartouche et le marc ne sort pas par les entailles. On dispose ainsi d'une cartouche garantissant une bonne propreté du système d'extraction.

Claims (6)

  1. Cartouche fermée (10), prévue pour être extraite sous pression, contenant une substance (19) pour la préparation d'une boisson choisie parmi le café torréfié et moulu, le thé, le café soluble, un mélange de café moulu et de café soluble, un produit chocolaté ou toute autre substance comestible déshydratée, comprenant une coupelle (12) avec un fond (13) avec partie centrale et partie périphérique et une paroi latérale (14) ayant sensiblement la forme d'un tronc de cône et un rebord circulaire (20) de diamètre supérieure au fond et un opercule (15) soudé sur le pourtour du rebord de la coupelle et l'opercule (15) est destiné à être déchiré sous le seul effet de la poussée du fluide d'extraction au début de l'extraction, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend, dans la coupelle au niveau du fond, un moyen garantissant la retenue de substance solide lors de son ouverture qui est une feuille de tissu (16) scellée dans le fond de la coupelle sur deux zones, d'une part dans la partie centrale (17) et d'autre part dans la partie périphérique (18) dudit fond .
  2. Cartouche selon la revendication 1 , caractérisée en ce que l'opercule (15) est soudé ou serti sur le rebord (20) de la coupelle.
  3. Cartouche selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que la coupelle (12) est en un matériau choisi parmi l'aluminium ayant une épaisseur de 20 à 100 µm, un plastique pur ou multi-couches, un composite carton/aluminium/plastique et un composite carton/plastique.
  4. Cartouche selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que l'opercule (15) est en un matériau choisi parmi l'aluminium d'une épaisseur de 15 à 60 µm et un multi-couches comprenant, soit du papier de 20 à 60 g/m2, du plastique d'une épaisseur de 20 à 60 µm et de l'aluminium d'une épaisseur de 5 à 20 µm, soit du copolymère d'éthylène et d'alcool de vinyle (EVOH) ou du polychlorure de vinylidène (PVDC) d'une épaisseur de 5 à 30 µm et du plastique tel que polypropylène (PP), polyéthylène (PE) ou polyamide (PA) de 20 à 100 µm, soit du polyéthylène térephtalate (PET) (5 à 30 µm) et du plastique tel que polypropylène (PP) et polyéthylène (PE) de 20 à 100 µm, soit du polyéthylène térephtalate (PET) métallisé ou muni d'une couche haute barrière telle que SiO2.
  5. Cartouche selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce qu'elle a un diamètre compris entre 2,5 et 6 cm et une hauteur comprise entre 10 et 40 mm.
  6. Cartouche selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisée en ce que le tissu (16) a une épaisseur comprise entre 15 et 200 microns.
