Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for battlefield simulation in the preamble of the claim 1 defined genus.
- the goal of such a battlefield simulation is it, real combat situations on a spatially limited To simulate practice area and thus a to enable tactical training. From a central office All maneuvers are monitored and can If necessary, intervene in the battle situation. Participants and goals can be specific to each battle situation their roles swap so that the targets also shoot Participants and the participants to bombarded become targets.
- Armored vehicles activates a warfare center by radio
- Plurality of relay stations distributed in the battlefield are arranged.
- Each relay station receives from one GPS a position and time information. Every relay station repeatedly sends position information in a time window across the battlefield, and selected ones Relay stations also send fire information, the type of ammunition, distance and effect contain. With the information of at least three Relay stations can be the combatants their Position relative to a sent impact point determine.
- a well-known battlefield simulation system used for shot simulation a laser that emits continuous laser light (CW-laser).
- the laser light is by means of pulse code modulation (PCM) and Pulse Pause Modulation (PPM), so that both the triggering the participant as well as the type of firing weapon system is clearly identified.
- All participants are equipped with optical sensors for receiving laser light equipped.
- the bombarded participant receives via its optical sensors that the laser light modulated information and derives a corresponding Event, e.g. a hit or a Hit storage and or a representation of the effect of the hit.
- Higher quality shooting simulators that are preferred in guns, e.g. Tanks, to be used, additionally use the laser light of the shot simulator to visually measure the target before firing why the target additionally equipped with reflectors is that reflect the laser light. From the reflections may be the removal of the target and the hit deposit relative to the reflectors that are then transmitted in addition to the destination.
- the laser-based shot simulators have several disadvantages. So must the optical Sensors attached to the participants outside so that they fight from all directions can be. During the combat exercise must be ensured that no sensor, e.g. covered by dirt. Between goal and shooting Participants must have a free optical transmission link to be available. The determination of Hit by the shooting participant is very consuming, a goal separation of several goals by lighting the laser at the same time is not possible. Since the laser light must be eye safe, the Range of shot simulation limited.
- the invention is based on the object Specify method for battlefield simulation, the avoids the disadvantages listed above.
- the inventive method has the Advantage that the radio transmission of the data largely is immune to interference and not shielded by objects in the field so that the demand for a free Shot field is eliminated.
- the risk of contamination is low, and unlike lasers are special measures not necessary for the protection of the combatants.
- hidden targets can also be fought, and e.g. covered by houses or dense trees Targets are destroyed in a laser shot can not be taken, as the actual Laser beam always leads directly to the goal, against the real shot, e.g. with a barrel weapon, one has parabolic trajectory.
- the projectile lying targets can be a Target separation is very simple and different Effects of projectile impact on the different goals are presented.
- the current position is continuously reported to the control center by each participant and each destination and stored in the control center in a database of the training area in which position data of terrain-fixed objects such as houses, walls, roads, trees and the like are stored. stored.
- the center has a constantly updated overview of the battle situation with all participants and targets involved in the battle.
- hypothetical projectile impacts are determined in the control center with the data sent by firing participants with the aid of the stored ballistic tables, and only the targets endangered by the situation within the range of projectile impacts are addressed by the control center for data exchange.
- the data stored in the central database of the practice area and coverings by houses or trees in target direction are taken into account.
- This procedural measure restricts the circle of participants and goals communicating with each other to the necessary minimum.
- the invention is at least for each target - preferably at each participant and every goal, as both theirs Replace roles - a database with ballistic Tables used by all in the practice area Weapon systems, including those shot with them Ammunition types, and with models for Art and degree of own wounding or damage in the case of a hit as well as the participant or the Destination identifying identifier stored. To have it the goals about the necessary equipment for the calculation of projectile impacts and for determination the effect of the projectile impacts on the respective Aim.
- the invention is in the case of a simulated shot from the shooting participant the shot data, how Weft direction attachment, lead and position of the launch tube, Weapon type and type of ammunition, as well as one Identification of the shooting participant to the control center sent and from the central office are these shot data transmitted to the endangered targets, which in turn the location of the hypothetical projectile impact new calculate and the head office together with an identifier of the reporting destination.
- Based on the calculated Projectile impact and their own position and proper motion at the time of projectile impact Determine the goals of the type and degree of their goals Wound or damage and report this Headquarters.
- temporal and spatial agreement of target position and location of the hypothetical Projectile impact becomes visually from the goal a hit displayed and / or reported to the control panel.
- FIG.1 is a detail of the battlefield forming training terrain, in which during armed with a combat, real participants 11, e.g. Soldiers, tanks, guns and the like, act and simulated shots on passive participants, below Called targets 12, e.g. Soldiers, tanks, guns, Vehicles and the like, fire.
- FIG. 1 is an armed participant 11 Tank and as a target 12 a commercial vehicle that covers the terrain crosses, shown.
- Have the goals 12 likewise over a weapon system, so can during of the battle interchange the roles, so that the Target 12 now the shooting participant and the armed Participant 11 now represents the goal.
- All Participant 11 and targets 12 are satellite-based Positioning device, e.g.
- GPS or DGPS which keeps the position of the subscriber 11 or the destination 12, with a computer unit and equipped with a database or database ( Figure 2), in the ballistic tables of all the im Battlefield deployed weapon systems, statistical Information from all those deployed in the battlefield Weapon systems and models for the type of their own possible wounding or damage in one Hits are filed.
- Both the participants 11 as also the targets 12 have a radio, with which they communicate with a center 14.
- the radio connections between headquarters 14 and participants 11 and Targets 12 are indicated in FIG. 1 by arrows 15.
- the also equipped with a radio Central 14 has a computing unit with a Database 16 of the practice area, in the position data of terrain-fixed objects, such as houses, Walls, roads, trees and the like, filed are, and with a database 17, in which - as with the Aim 12 and armed participants 11 - ballistic Tables used by all in the practice area Weapon systems, including those used by them Ammunition types are stored.
- a Database 16 of the practice area in the position data of terrain-fixed objects, such as houses, Walls, roads, trees and the like, filed are, and with a database 17, in which - as with the Aim 12 and armed participants 11 - ballistic Tables used by all in the practice area Weapon systems, including those used by them Ammunition types are stored.
- From these Shot data will be in the center 14 with the knowledge from the database 17 the hypothetical, simulated or virtual trajectory and the hypothetical projectile impact certainly. From the central office 14 will be transmit the shot data to those targets 12 that in the range of the calculated by the center 14 hypothetical projectile impact and thus hit or damaged, so in total could be at risk.
- the hypothetical projectile impact again determines and thereby the proper movement and direction of movement considered during the projectile flight. Agrees the eigenposition and the hypothetical Projectile impact coincides temporally and spatially from the target a hit visually displayed what e.g. by a flash trigger 19, as shown in Fig. 1, can be done, and in addition the hit of the headquarters 14 reported. Will not be an immediate hit but the own position of the target 12 is determined only in the immediate vicinity of the projectile impact is based on the knowledge from the database 13 the Art and the degree of possible injury or damage of the target 12 and this the headquarters 14 reported.
