Definitions
- the present invention relates to a shot simulation method and an apparatus for performing the method according to the preamble of claim 1 or according to the preamble of claim 6.
- Such a device is from DE-PS 32 34 949 known.
- One device is from this patent for gun battle simulation between combat participants known, the one assigned to the weapon as a weapon carrier Laser transmitter for emitting a target object Laser pulses during simulated firing, an optical measuring receiver for reflected from the target object Laser pulses and an evaluation device for extraction the hit information, which is then encoded by Laser pulses are transmitted to the target object, and which as Target object with reflector elements for the laser pulses and with at least one optical information receiver for receiving coded laser pulses and for Evaluation of hit information contained therein are, the reflector elements separate from the Information recipients trained and at a spatial distance arranged by him.
- DE-PS 22 62 605 is a similar practice shooting device known. It shows how optical transmission of the attacker's impact data and through targeted consideration of self-protection a realistic scenario arises, which allows the simulated firefighting of the connected weapons.
- Modernly equipped armies set up for the shooting and Combat training on direct-aimed weapons, light-shot simulators on.
- Preferred GaAs solid-state laser diodes are used. at all particularly powerful light shot simulators every combat participant is both an attacker and a target and as a target system including retroreflectors equipped. The measurement of the retroreflectors as Reference for the target position and data transfer from the attacker to the target is done with the help of pulsed Laser light sources.
- ⁇ 1 , ⁇ 2 selectable different wavelengths ( ⁇ 1 , ⁇ 2 ) of the pulsed laser beams are transmitted and / or received, a selection between participants or groups of participants and special facilities (pyrotechnic stations, bunkers, etc.) is possible.
- Target systems that originally worked without retroreflectors can also be integrated in terms of system technology.
- the use of a combination of different lasers Wavelengths (also tunable) and passive and active selective filters (edge, bandpass, adaptive, e.g. piezo-controlled) for target measurement or Target differentiation is proposed according to the invention.
- the selective filters can be placed in front of the retroreflectors attached as well as integrated in the retroreflectors become. Certain selective filters can be targeted can also be used in the laser pulse transmitter. It is to take into account that with retroreflectors different Design (e.g.
- the laser beams sent are registered on the target side. If you also have a wavelength analysis there can be used to control the measurements with the help of active elements (e.g. tunable Interference filter) or in simple versions mechanical devices which depend on laser beams the wavelength through the filter or the barrier or block and enable selective measurements.
- active elements e.g. tunable Interference filter
- mechanical devices which depend on laser beams the wavelength through the filter or the barrier or block and enable selective measurements.
- One measure which shows the particular advantages of the method proposed according to the invention in a simple manner is to equip the infantry target equipment with reflectors with an upstream selective filter which only allow the wavelength ⁇ 1 to pass.
- All simulators for weapons that pose a direct threat to the infantry e.g. rifle, machine gun, machine cannon, are equipped so that they carry out target measurement and hit evaluation using lasers of wavelength ⁇ 1 .
- the infantry do not recognize other light-shot simulators, eg for tank cannons, since these systems use the wavelength ⁇ 2 according to the invention. Mutual disturbances and manipulations of these systems are therefore excluded.
- the selective system and by the laser combination assigns the participants or Groups of participants or other institutions possible, namely at the laser measurement system and at the target.
- the number of participants is also high possible, targeted information only to one of the participants or to a group of participants or just to to send to special institutions, even then, if there is an optical and / or geometric separation of all Participant is not possible.
- Special messages e.g. only for a group of Participants are determined with a specific Wavelength sent.
- a general data exchange between the participants Systems is carried out independently of that for the measurement specific wavelength used with the help of a common Wavelength of e.g. approx. 900 nm.
- FIG. 1 shows a retroreflector known as such 2, which as a retro mirror either as a full material or is hollow.
- a Selective filter 1 attached in front of the retroreflector 2 in front of the retroreflector 2 in front of the retroreflector 2 is a Selective filter 1 attached.
- This selective filter 1 passes a wavelength range as an edge filter, or a selected wavelength as a bandpass filter.
- Figure 2 shows the retroreflector in another embodiment 2, which has a selective layer 3 on one of its Has sides, the selective layer 3 passive or can be active, i.e. Rays of a certain wavelength transmits or reflects them.
- the body of the retroreflector 2 can be made of solid material exist or be hollow.
- FIG. 3 shows a retroreflector 2 made of solid material, which has a selective layer 3 on two sides.
- Figure 4 shows a retroreflector 2 with a decoupling body 5, e.g. a rectangular prism is.
- This decoupling body 5 has a selective layer 4 on. You can also have multiple surfaces with different Selective layers are used.
- By the decoupling body 5 only penetrate rays with selected Wavelength in a subsequent receiver 6 can be analyzed. The outcoupled rays can also be registered by detectors, if necessary also react selectively.
