Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for Battlefield simulation in the preamble of claim 1 defined genus.
- the aim of such a battlefield simulation is real combat situations on a spatially limited To simulate the practice area and thus a tactical training to enable. All of them are from a central office Maneuvers are monitored and can, if necessary, enter the combat situation be intervened. Participants and goals can each Battle situation swap roles so that the targets too to shooters and those to be shot at Be aiming.
- each Relay station receives a position and from a GPS Time information.
- Each relay station sends repeatedly Position information in a time window about the Battlefield, and send selected relay stations in addition fire information that indicates the type of ammunition, Removal and effect included.
- the combat participants can use at least three relay stations their position relative to a sent impact point determine.
- a known battlefield simulation system uses a laser for the shot simulation, the emits continuous laser light (CW laser).
- the Laser light is by means of pulse code modulation (PCM) and Pulse pause modulation (PPM) modulates so that both the Shot triggering participants as well as the type of the shot dispensing weapon system is clearly identified. All Participants are using optical sensors to receive Equipped with laser light.
- the shot participant receives via its optical sensors that of laser light modulated information and introduces from it corresponding event, e.g. one hit or one Hit storage and or a representation of the effect of Hit.
- Higher-quality shooting simulators which are preferred for barrel weapons, e.g. Tanks that are used use the laser light of the Shot simulator in addition to targeting the shot to measure optically, for which purpose the target is additionally with reflectors is equipped that reflect the laser light. From the The distance to the target and the reflections can be Hit location can be determined relative to the reflectors that then be transferred in addition to the destination.
- the invention is based on the object of a method Battlefield simulation specifying the above avoids the disadvantages listed.
- the inventive method has the advantage that the Radio transmission of the data is largely immune to interference and through Objects in the field are not shielded, so the claim after a free field of fire is dropped.
- the risk of contamination is low, and unlike lasers, there are special measures to protect the Battle participants not required.
- the real shot e.g. with a gun, one parabolic trajectory.
- the current of every participant and every goal Position reported to the head office and in the head office in one Database of the practice area, in the position data of fixed objects, such as houses, walls, streets, Trees and the like, are stored, saved.
- the head office has a constantly updated overview about the battle situation with everyone involved in the battle Participants and goals.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention at least for every goal - preferably for every participant and each goal, since both can switch roles - one Database with ballistic tables from everyone in the Weapon systems used in the training area, including the ammunition types fired with it, and with models for art and degree of personal injury or damage to you Hit as well as one for the participant or the target identifying identifier stored. So they have Goals about the necessary tools to calculate Missile impacts and to determine the effect of the Missile impacts on the respective target.
- the shot data such as shot direction essay, lead and Position of the launch tube, type of weapon and ammunition, and an identifier of the shooting participant to the headquarters sent and from the headquarters this shot data to the endangered targets, which in turn the location of the Recalculate hypothetical storey impact and the Head office together with an identifier of the reporting destination to transfer.
- the calculated floor impact and their own position and movement at the time of Missile impact determines the type and grade of the targets their wounding or damage and report it to the Headquarters.
- temporal and spatial Agreement of target position and location of the hypothetical A hit is displayed visually from the target and / or reported to the head office.
- FIG. 1 shows a section of a battlefield Exercise area depicted in the course of a battle armed, real participants 11, e.g. Soldiers, tanks, Guns and the like, act and simulate shots on passive Participants, hereinafter referred to as goals 12, e.g. Soldiers, Fire tanks, guns, vehicles and the like.
- goals 12 e.g. Soldiers, Fire tanks, guns, vehicles and the like.
- armed participant 11 a tank and as a target 12 a commercial vehicle that Crossed terrain, shown.
- Goal 12 also via a weapon system, so during the Battle reversed the roles so that the target 12 now the shooting participant and the armed participant 11 now represents the goal.
- All participants 11 and goals 12 are equipped with a satellite-based positioning device, e.g.
- GPS or DGPS that continuously the position of the participant 11 or the target 12 determined with a computer unit and equipped with a database or database (Fig. 2), in of the ballistic tables of all of those in the battlefield weapon systems used, statistical information from all of the weapon systems used in the battlefield and Models for the type of your own possible wounding or Damage from a hit is filed.
- Both the Participants 11 as well as goals 12 have one Radio with which they communicate with a control center 14.
- the radio connections between control center 14 and subscriber 11 and targets 12 are identified by arrows 15 in FIG. 1.
- the control center 14, which is also equipped with a radio has a computing unit with a database 16 of Practice area, in the position data of off-road Objects such as houses, walls, streets, trees and the like. are stored, and with a database 17, in which - as in the targets 12 and armed participants 11 - ballistic Tables of everyone used in the practice area Weapon systems, including those used by them Ammunition types are stored.
- the shot data is transmitted to those targets 12 that within the sphere of influence of that calculated by the control center 14 hypothetical bullet impact and hit it or damaged, i.e. could be endangered overall.
- the vulnerable targets 12 will be transmitted with the shot data of the shooting participant 11 and the knowledge from the Database 13 the hypothetical projectile impact again determined and the own movement and direction of movement taken into account during the projectile flight. Is that true Own position and the hypothetical projectile impact in time and spatially matched, the target becomes a hit optically displayed, e.g. by a flash trigger 19, as in Fig. 1 is shown, can be done, and in addition the Hits of headquarters 14 reported. Will not be immediate Hit hit determined, but lies the own position target 12 only in the immediate vicinity of the projectile impact the type and the degree of possible injury or damage to the Target 12 determined and reported this to headquarters 14.
